@all:am so loving the compliments i am getting. I saw someone i have not seen in some months and she was like, wow, you have lost weight and shapened up.she went ahead to ask if i am dieting, i told her no, am just more active and thats all. I didnt want her asking further questions because i am not sure it is something she may be willing and ready to embark on.
In the course of my new/healthy lifestyle, i have met people who asked and i was very willing and glad to help out.for some, i went as far as making copies of my dvds i bought for so expensive and sharing with them at no cost but after 1 or 2 weeks, they dump everything and go back to their old lifestyle. Infact, one of them that wanted me to keep a check on her sees me as a nuisance now cos i will ask her every day or every other day if she is still working out to the dvds and she keeps complaining about her weight. I dont even bother myself with her anylonger.

@camgal:for how long and how many days in a week can you have sex? That may not add up to make one lose the significant amount of weight. That is what i think oh. So if you want to lose weight what what you eat and be active for at least 30 to 40 minutes most days of the week and you will be well on your way.save sex for pleasure and not a weightloss method abeg

@HG:wow, i am loving this, at the end of this challenge you will?indeed have great testimonies about your body and the goodness of your coaches.but come to think of it, women can be really touch oh, the JMs, the cathe frederichs and lots more.so dont be surprised that the lady may kick ur butts the more.
Well, well well, concerning the elliptical, on my 1st day, i could barely do 5mins, the 2nd day i raised it to 10 and before i say a word, i could do 20 minutes at a stretch and that was how it built up oh. Now i do slightly over 60 minutes with intervals of high intensity and i do not intend to do more than that as i do not want to burn the muscles i have so worked hard to earn.my average speed is 26km/hr. Dont worry u will become a master soon and you know it does give a good workout. When i logged in this morning to post my logs, i was so surprised to see your comment because i actually did 61 minutes on it yesterday evening.

@HG and modath: thanks aa lot. Am much better now and decided to start with Leslie Sansones 5 really big miles. Am going to take it very easy this week until i am much stronger.i couldnt get out of bed since thursay until testerday.am so thankful to God for healing. Good health is a great gift from God!

hey all, have a geat easter and may the reason for His death and ressurection not be in vain in our lives.
Exercise for me is on hold and has been for somedays now cos am down with malaria.i hate this feeling, i had planned to really workout during the easter break oh.anway, nothing spoil, i'll be back once i feel up to it.

@HG:well said. Thanks for the response to my post jare. I think that is what i will try to do now. At least 10 mins no matter how busy i am.and truly, once you do 10 minutes, you are likely to add more minutes.

hey guys, so much activity on the thread. My week has been crazy.i have been so so busy and i have hardly found time to exercise but hpoing that next week will be much better.
@HG: you are very right oh, when you workout, you less likely to eat too much. I personally experience it. I have read somewhere that the endorphins that are produced during exercise are responsible for suppressing that ravenous apppetite some of us tend to have.

hi nonny, great food logs there and great work.if you dont feel weak or hungry all the time then you are good to go,you know breastfeeding can make one feel really hungry. And please drink a lot of water too, that will help a great deal.

@uche:i notice that too.i got concerned about the scale moving down when i dont workout for a while cos i thought i was loosing muscle.i had to go tp the internet to research how how long it takes to loose muscle if one does not strength train.i discovered that a few days of strength not strength training will not make one loose muscle.they gave an explanation which i can put together and said that once i resume working out, the weight will get back to normal.and truly, afterabout 3 days of resuming workouts, my weight got back to where it was originally.

@barbie:yeah, thats true jare.am usually short on time in the mornings and so i do short videos in the mornings and leave the longer ones for evenings. I have a lot to loose so for now i need 2 sessions a day.
That ultimate boot camp is really intense.d 1st time i tried a BB workout, i pulled a muscle or two and so i had to abandon it for a while.it was then i started having deep respect for u oh,lol . I only resumed again after watching and following the tutorials many many times.

Have you checked out your spark motivator rikkielle?i have been following her closely too. She had a baby in sept last year, has lost all the baby weight and has not only done that, she has gone pounds below her prepregnancy weight.sparkpeople is such a motivation.i visit it almost every day.
