It was hard to know who was sexier - the real life Rihanna in a black babydoll dress or the multiple holograms of her modeling skimpy underwear at the launch of her new lingerie brand. The singer was the main attraction whichever way you looked at it at the Savage X Fenty launch event in Brooklyn, New York, on Thursday night. The Barbadian beauty wore her hair loose in wet-look curls and flashed plenty of cleavage in her chosen outfit that she paired with black stockings and heels. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/newpix/2018/05/11/05/4C14276D00000578-5716697-In_total_Savage_x_Fenty_features_90_pieces_of_lingerie_sleepwear-m-46_1526013872483.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/newpix/2018/05/11/05/4C14275A00000578-5716697-She_was_seen_wearing_a_strapless_black_black_corset_with_stockin-a-47_1526013883578.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/newpix/2018/05/11/05/4C14275F00000578-5716697-Hot_Rihanna_was_her_own_model_for_her_lingerie_line_with_life_si-m-43_1526013750764.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/newpix/2018/05/11/10/4C1444C700000578-5716697-Just_wow_The_Diamonds_recording_artist_also_modeled_her_lingerie-a-12_1526031767525.jpg more pics here: http://kunlexwap.nextwapblog.com/rihanna-models-her-new-range-of-female-cloths-for-sale.html lalasticlala |

Olori Memunat Omowumi, one of the wives of the Alaafin of Oyo, is celebrating her birthday today. The happy mum of three – she welcomed twins a couple of weeks ago – has shared new photos on her Instagram page celebrating her birthday. She captioned one of the photos: It’s my birthday tomorrow, I felt so lost for many years of my life, questioning my existence while searching in all the wrong places for a sense of belonging. I stopped relying on people to lift me up! I have a permanent peace even in the midst of utter chaos. I have an unspeakable joy within that no disappointing situation can take away. I’ve got the love of God within me that keeps my heart soft even through repeated attacks. https://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/31493189_1117017958436673_4873649736101396480_n.jpg https://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/31435444_217627495499239_356684926419992576_n.jpg https://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/31245385_208822806389723_3383026558011703296_n.jpg https://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/31229405_2003565969903880_7886337516335267840_n.jpg View More Pics: http://kunlexwap.nextwapblog.com/alaafin-of-oyos-wife-olori-memunat-omowumi-celebrates-birthday-with-stunning-photos.html |

The European Union (EU) Heads of Mission on Tuesday responded to incessant killings in Nigeria as a result of clash between herdsmen and farmers. The union in a statement in Abuja by the Media Officer to the EU delegation to Nigeria and ECOWAS, Mr Modestus Chukwulaka, expressed concern over escalating and disturbing killings in some parts of Nigeria. Chukwulaka urged the Nigerian government to bring perpetrators of violence of any kind to book The mission heads, however, commended President Muhammadu Buhari for visiting the affected states. The statement read in part: “As a first step, the perpetrators of violence must be brought to justice. The EU confirms its full support to the Nigerian government and people in their fight against violence in all its forms. “The EU also expresses its condolences and sympathy to the families of those killed and injured. How Recession Made Me Discover How To Extract Silver From Wastes For Insane Profits “The EU urge the government and stakeholders to engage and create a dialogue between the feuding parties. “This should be done to find lasting solutions and sustainable economic policies that would permit all to live in peace.” http://dailypost.ng/2018/03/14/eu-speaks-herdsmen-farmers-cash-nigeria/ lalasticlala, mynd44 |

Okechukwu Nnodim, Abuja Power generation companies are planning to disrupt the supply of electricity across the country, an intention that suggests blackmail against the Federal Government, the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, has alleged. Reacting to reports that some of the firms had gone to court to file claims against the Federal Government, Fashola stated on Monday that the move was consistent with the rule of law but stressed that the power firms “must be ready to face scrutiny in the court of public opinion.” Last week, The PUNCH reported that some Gencos had dragged the government before the Federal High Court in Abuja over what they termed discriminatory practices against their interests and those of gas suppliers. The firms also accused the Federal Government of conferring preferential treatment on Azura Power West Africa Limited and Accugas Limited at their own expense. But speaking at the 25th Monthly Power Sector Meeting in Uyo, Fashola said the Gencos must be ready to explain to power consumers that despite all they had benefitted from the Federal Government, they were still planning to hold the citizens hostage. He stated, “Let me say very clearly to all operators that I get reports of many of the clandestine meetings that some of them (Gencos) are holding with a view to disrupting the supply for political capital. I will implore those that are truly ready to run the business they have acquired voluntarily to continue to do so with the assurance of government support and partnership. “As for those who entered the business without understanding it, please brace for hard work and help us rebuild this country. Those who choose to hide temporarily in the courts of law can do so, but the court of public opinion will scrutinise you and its verdict may be very scathing, unkind and enduring.” Fashola added, “I say this because you may not have noticed that Nigerians are increasingly taking their destiny in their hands. This is the essence of privatisation. If you bother to look up and around you, you will see solar panels on rooftops. The mini grid regulations allow them to procure one megawatt without a licence. “This is bigger than what many traditional generators supply. There is no law that compels them to take public power. I am not afraid of the law courts and will meet you there to vigorously defend our position.” The minister stated that the Gencos must be ready to face the court of public opinion, which according to him, is a court of conscience and morality. He noted that in the court of public opinion, the Gencos must be ready to tell the citizens how they felt when other groups went to court to stop the implementation of tariffs approved by Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission in 2016. Fashola said the power firms must explain to the public court whether they went to court before the government approved a N701bn payment assurance guarantee to pay their monthly bills. He added, “They must disclose to this court that they owed debts from the pre-Buhari era, because their income had reduced to less than 50 per cent. They must disclose to this court that they now receive about 80 per cent income and that this government is now paying them revenues collected from international customers from the Republics of Benin, Niger and Togo in dollars, as against the naira payment they used to receive. “They must tell the court of public opinion that the reason for going to court is because the government is making 100 per cent payment to a new Genco, which has a different contract with a Partial Risk Guarantee, which they do not have. They must also disclose to the court that they held a meeting with the government and tabled their demands, which the government promised to look into one week before they went to court.” http://punchng.com/power-generators-blackmailing-govt-planning-to-disrupt-supply-fashola/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter lalasticlala |

The killing, maiming and slaughtering of our people especially farmers living in rural areas by fulani herdsmen is unbearable to us. Amnesty International, has claimed that clashes between farmers and herdsmen have claimed at least 168 lives in 2018 alone. The Sad one is the attacks that were carried out by the suspected herders in Logo and Guma LGAs of the state on January 1, 2018, with over 80 people killed according to Dailypost. As Shared; Dear Dan, This is still like a dream to me, as I can’t just imagine how my only daughter could stoop this low. I’m a businesswoman, married to a well- known politician in the State and we are blessed with a pretty young lady who is our only child. Though we wish to have more children, fate did not allow us. Folake is a very pretty lady, smart and hardworking. She left Nigeria to study abroad at 15 after she completed her education she was able to secure a job over there. She is now a medical doctor, working with one of the well-known hospitals in the UK. Back to Nigeria, my husband and I are living fine and we have honest people working with us not only in our different offices even at home. We have two drivers driving us, one an Igbo young man of 30 Charles and a Yoruba young guy of 32 years Gboyega. Both are good, humble and honest drivers. But Gboyega’s character is exceptional among other workers, he is not just humble but also lively to be with, that is why I and my husband always want him to drive us. Three months ago our daughter came back to the country to continue her career and also to settle down. I noticed she is always with Gboyega, at first I didn’t suspect anything as I know Gboyega is a lovely person to be with and he is easy to make friends with. But the closeness between Gboyega and my only daughter has gone beyond my imagination, now Folake always wants him to be around her. I once asked Folake what is between her and Gboyega but her answer was “we are just friends”. Just last month I was in the sitting room with Folake discussing as she was showing some pictures she took with her friends in the UK then she went to the Kitchen to check what she was cooking. Just as she left for the kitchen leaving her phone with me, her phone beep it was a message from “My heartbeat”. Firstly I smiled since she is not a small girl and I’ve been looking forward to seeing a guy with her. I opened the message and it reads “Hi love, trust you are fine. Please, I don’t think our outing this evening will be possible as mummy said she will be going out this evening and I’m the one taking her out. Bye love.” At first, I didn’t understand what was going on but I quickly checked the sender number and started typing it on my phone and I was shocked with what I saw at the end. Immediately I finished typing it displayed “Driver2- Gboyega” meanwhile on my daughter’s phone It’s “My heartbeat”. Then I remembered I had told him he will take me out later that day. I didn’t react that day, as I kept it to myself. Two days later I called my daughter and asked her what is between her and the driver, at first she wanted to deny and I told her everything I saw on her phone. She immediately knelt down and confessed that Gboyega is the person she wants to marry. Though Gboyega is full of good characters but he is just an OND holder in Business Administration. He is from a poor family, which is another challenge. What a great shame this is going to be, our only daughter to marry the son of nobody? How do I tell my friends whose I’ve celebrated with in time past and are eagerly waiting for my turn? Or how do I tell my husband who is a complete disciplinarian, what will be his reaction when he hears that his daughter and only child is about to marry a driver. Please help me! You can’t just be from Africa and not enjoyed some fallacies when you were young, in fact you would almost slap yourself in the later future when you realize you have once been brainwashed. Superstitions in Nigeria is real, many of which we even believe with our present age. And you cant deny you have not been a victim of one or more. Superstitions are mostly used by parents on their children to give them either fear of a particular things or used the idea to give children home training because coming straight to Nigerian children doesn’t work most times. When I was young, I believed all my life that crying at night would invite our village masquerade to come and carry me away. So anytime I had reason to cry at night, I always borrow myself some senses and keep mute. The day I realized the superstition to make kids stop the habit of crying at night ehn. All the cries I don stop because of the masquerade, I almost cry all that cry that day. That’s the power of Africans wisdom. So what about you? What is that one superstition you believed 100% when you were also young? Drop your comments below and let’s have some fun!!! |

Onoshe Nwabuikwu Have you been paying any attention to the controversy generated by Olamide’s new song, Science Student? In the said song, Olamide sings about drugs and the dangerously colourful cocktail people create from these drugs. I hadn’t yet heard the song as I was dragged (without warning) into the story by Don Pedro Obaseki when he tagged me in a video on Facebook. I wasn’t able to respond because the responses in the comment section were extra shocking. They were deliberately flippant and ignorant. Most of the people, believe it or not, dismissed Don Pedro’s concerns about the song. Instead, they queried why he wasn’t devoting his time to supposedly more important issues like the Benue killings, among others. There were a few who were more concerned about the fact that Don Pedro had disclosed that he was recording the video while in traffic on Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos. Well, the issue has refused to go away. I have since listened to the song, Science Student. As to be expected, it sounds very catchy and even if you don’t understand Yoruba, you’ll dance Shaku Shaku, to your heart’s content. Nonetheless, Olamide has come out to say that people got it all wrong, that the song is in fact an attempt to dissuade drug abuse. He also asks those who don’t understand Yoruba to get help with translation. Fortunately, you’ll find a full translation of the song online which is what I relied on. I don’t think there is any translation that will hide the fact that Olamide was rather soft on condemning drugs, and even he agrees. He explains that it’s because he doesn’t want to come across as “harsh or rude” because his background helps him to understand the struggle those people have with drugs. Let’s buy this explanation that he’s not promoting drugs, but what’s with the encyclopaedic exposition on drugs? It’s like a crash diploma course on the types of drugs available on the streets. With the way the song sounds, I am willing to bet that more people are going to search for the names they hear in Science Student than will run away from drugs. How hard is it to say, even if it’s at the end of the song, ‘Say No To Drugs’ or something? Why are our artistes’ explanations about the lofty meaning of their songs always longer than the songs themselves? You do not need an epistle to say ‘don’t do drugs,’or do you?’ Olamide is not new to controversy. I recall that Abdulkareem Baba-Aminu, a journalist and friend of mine, accused Olamide a few years ago of encouraging date rape in his song, Story for the gods. Even though I had heard the song, I didn’t take Abdulkareem’s accusations seriously. I thought it was a stretch. As you can imagine, many people must have felt the same way I did. However, there’s some truth to what Mr. Baba-Aminu said. Just before I started writing this, I listened to the song again. It’s hidden under all kinds of slangs, still the import of the song roughly says: ‘I want to have it. Do I need your permit? I have drunk Dogonyaro and Monkey Tail. I want to do, she nor fit wait, say it’s getting late, says she’s getting faint, story for the gods…’ Before anyone raises the argument of how Fela or other artistes have done worse, let’s not get facts twisted. It doesn’t matter who or how many people have done the wrong thing; what is wrong is wrong. Since we are comparing musicians, Ebenezer Obey sang words to that effect, didn’t he? And where are all those people condemning songs about yahoo boys? Olamide is fast coming across as someone who lives in his own reality. During his last show, Olamide Live In Concert, the Internet nearly broke because he had allowed a certain Yomi-SARS to perform at his show. You’ll recall that there has been sustained agitation for scrapping of the police anti-robbery squad, SARS. The most vociferous voices against SARS are people from backgrounds and age Olamide should supposedly be able to relate with, yet he didn’t see anything wrong in providing Yomi-SARS with a platform. Olamide needs to think seriously about his public image and his place as a role model. Before then, can our law enforcement agents leave critics of the government and investigate cases like this?
