Zikojukwu:
The Real Tinubu
Tinubu is so sick that he can't even squat or sit and pray. His left hand is dead and always hidden in his clothes and can't hold anything. Away from his health, he is dangerously corrupt and believes governance is all about thuggery, looting, stealing and building evil dynasty. He has no morals or scruples, every known thing about him is trickery, cheating and bribery. He is a modern Lagos slave Lord who ruled Lagos for 8years and brainwashed Lagosians that he singlehandedly built Lagos when even Lagos was built by federal government. Today, no one remembers Fashola, Ambode as the former governors of Lagos who did a lot better than Tinubu.
Above all, our experience with Buhari's health can't be wished again. Buhari's health affected Nigeria and took us back in everything. Every Nigerian is crying. North is talking of presidency because of Buhari's health. They felt they lost too. North is worse now than before. Buhari couldn't do anything because of his health and we have another deadman disturbing us. Say God forbid. Tinubu should go and rest. We are not selling Nigeria.
Tinubu has stolen a lot of money. If you know how to praise him and collect the money like the north and some wise southerners are doing, please do. But don't come to our houses or important social media platform to promote a deadman who will make our condition worse. A vote to Tinubu is a waste. Don't promote what will affect you and your children.
okoro, come with another one, this is stale already.... We are 100% BATified, you like it or not, Tinubu will become your president come 2023 and nothing you and your fellow s*bh*mans from beerfraud can do about it....MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS AND PROTECT TINUBU

PoliticsAfenifere Reacts As Court Sentences Killers Of Olufunke Fasoranti To Death by mighty2(op): 8:38pm On Jun 11, 2022
The apex pan-Yoruba socio-political organization, Afenifere, has commended the Nigerian judiciary for bringing the killers of a daughter of its leader, Mrs. Olufunke Olakunrin, to justice.

Olufunke, one of the daughters of Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the leader of Afenifere, was gruesomely murdered in June 2019 at Oore in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State after a visit to her father in Akure, capital of the state.

Four suspects were arrested six months later and charged first to a magistrate court before the then Attorney General of the State, Mr. Kola Olawoye, got the case to be transferred to a High Court.

In a judgement delivered Friday, June 10, 2022, Mr. Justice William Olamide, sentenced three of the four suspects to death by hanging but discharged and acquitted the fourth defendant, Mr Abubakar, who was charged with aiding and abetting the crime.

Those sentenced to death were Mohammed Usman, Osagie Lawal, and Adamu Adamu.
Reacting, the National Publicity Secretary of the organization, Comrade Jare Ajayi, averred that the judgement was an indication that justice can be adroitly dispensed in Nigeria if the judiciary is allowed to function unfettered.

In a statement he signed, Ajayi commended the Nigeria Police Force for diligently investigating and prosecuting the case.

He also commended the Ondo State government and the judiciary for their diligence in handling the case.

According to Ajayi: “The diligence prosecution and final resolution of the case will go a long way in rekindling the confidence of the public in the judiciary.”

He noted that Afenifere hoped that “this sort of diligence but effective process would be brought to bear in all other cases in such a manner that justice would be truly and promptly dispensed without regard to the status or inclinations of those involved.”
Afenifere spokesman was quick to add that the “excitement that the verdict elicited was not necessarily because the culprits are going to die per se. Rather, the excitement was in the fact that at last, those who killed are going to pay the supreme prices as well.”
“It is clear a proof that no matter how long it takes; the day of reckoning will certainly come for evil-doers as those who operate in the dark lane never have good endings”, he said.

He expressed the hope that the authorities will prevent the acts of terrorism and murder by stepping up security in the country and allow state police to be formed by states that are desired to do so.

“For, if there are states’ and local governments’ police system in Nigeria, the extent of terrorism and sundry crimes would not as much as it is presently” he added.

OWO TERROR ATTACK WAS A MESSAGE TO US-SOYINKA

•A dagger Has Been Drawn To Our Hearts-Gov Akeredolu

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN, on Friday received Nobel laureate and renowned playwright, Prof. Wole Soyinka in his office, Alagbaka, Akure.

Prof. Soyinka was at the Governor’s office on a condolence visit over the terror attack in Owo, last Sunday.

He described the terror attack as a message, adding that “We are dealing with people who are obsessed with domination; it is in their blood, it is in their Creed, their psyche that they need to dominate.”

The Nobel laureate noted that the attack was on Governor Akeredolu who has been showing leadership in terms of internal liberation.

“He was targeted and there is no question about that. It was not an accident, and it is passing a massage to the rest of us. That is why I'm here. I want the Governor to know that we have received the message. We understand it and we came to sympathize with him that he was selected as a medium of that message.

“So, the answer we must give to the message we all received is that we are not slaves. Here, on our own soil, having had the experience of century of disdain, contempt about us as black poeple. Again some characters come along calling themselves whatever, ISWAP, Boko Haram. So, all those groups including those who are just opportunists - the herdsmen, they are making a mistake. I want the Governor to realize they are making a mistake.

“I have been on this issue for quite some times. This invasion has been on and these herdsmen are all over the forests. At a time we thought it was Boko Haram, we didn't know that Fulani herdsmen were capitalising on the fundamentalist insurgency and brutality.

“And that is why we see a nexus of operation between ISWAP, Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen. They work singularly, individually and they work collectively. I Know Ondo State has always been at the forefront of awareness.” Prof. Soyinka said.

Governor Akeredolu appreciated the Nobel laureate for the condolence visit, saying that the state will remain hugely indebted to him.

“It is a cause that he has dedicated his life to, and I thank God for his life. The state wants to appreciate you for finding time to come at this hours of grieve.

“This is like a dagger drawn to our heart, and it is an assault on our psyche. The psyche of those of us in the South-West and Western Region.

“I think they think they can create some fears in us but they made a mistake because this will make us more fierce in our condemnation of their actions. And we are not hiding it.” Governor Akeredolu said.

PoliticsTinubu’s Victory I’ll Begin With Ekiti Gov Poll, Fayemi Boasts by mighty2(op): 6:07am On Jun 10, 2022
The Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, yesterday boasted that the All Progressives Congress (APC)will use the June 18 governorship poll to open the window of victory for the presidential candidate of the party in the 2023 election, Asiwaju Bola
Ahmed Tinubu.
Fayemi, who was given a heroic welcome to Ekiti after his participation in the presidential primary of the party held on Tuesday, stated that he unexpectedly stepped down from the race for Tinubu to preserve and fortify Yoruba’s unity and cohesion.
Fayemi, who was welcomed from Ondo-Ekiti border town by APC members, was cheered by crowd at
Igbara Odo, Ilawe, Odo and Ado Ekiti, as part of the welcome rally organised for him by the party after the presidential primary.
At the shadow poll that took place in Abuja with 23 presidential contestants, Fayemi stepped down for Tinubu, who had now emerged the party’s candidate.
Addressing the party supporters at the Fajuyi Pavilion, in Ado Ekiti, Fayemi said the party was resolute to deliver Ekiti to APC, by ensuring that the governorship candidate, Biodun Oyebanji, wins the June 18 poll and send a signal that Tinubu is well fortified to win the coming presidential poll.
Fayemi applauded Ekiti delegates and party faithful across Nigeria for demonstrating enormous support for him during his consultations to states, saying the success of the shadow election, had proved the bookmakers and naysayers, who predicted doom for
APC wrong.
“I thank all our members for this rousing welcome. I never knew this would happen to welcome me back
home. They may say Ekiti people are stubborn, but we are very honourable.
“From next week Saturday, we will continue to see the effect of my action. Asiwaju’s winning will begin
from Ekiti and Osun governorship elections. Before 12noon on June 18, news will be filtering out that
Biodun Oyebanji has won. Those who hate him are now getting weary.

“By Tuesday next week, the Presidential candidate of our party and incoming President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the outgoing President, Muhammadu Buhari, governors and bigwigs in APC will be in Ekiti during the grand finale of our party to mobilise for Oyebanji.
“In this battle we are going, don’t fear anything.
There is nothing to fear. Those who are threatening will do nothing. From one village to another, farmstead to another, we will reach everywhere to campaign for Oyebanji. I am now back home fully”, Fayemi said.
Justifying his presidential ambition, Fayemi posited that he decided to veer into the race with that unflagging belief that he possesses sterling qualities to be president and not out of overambition or unbridled propensity to seek for elective positions.
He added: “In Nigeria today, they knew that good things can come out of our Nazareth in Ekiti. Some of our people were not really happy with the way things went, but God knew about it.
“The most significant thing there was that, God sent us on a journey that we should ensure that Yoruba witnesses no disunity, so that we can have progress, peace and development .
“It was also part of our mission for Nigeria to be united and prosper and that was what I went to do
in that presidential convention and we did the job and the accolades are coming.
“I thank all party members and the entire Ekiti, including our royal fathers for their support for me. I wanted the Southwest to bring home something. We didn’t want a blockade and I didn t want the name of our state to be mentioned in a negative way in Yorubaland.
“Nothing is bad if we have ambition, but there can be victory in what appears like a loss, and there can be success in what people said is a failure. We must act
well. for the success of Nigeria to be consolidated.
“What they thought was that APC will come out disunited and scattered, but we came out of our convention more victorious, invigorated, consolidated, energised and better prepared to ensure that the Poverty Development Party(PDP) and other ones parading themselves didn’t come back.
“Let me assure you of this, those pretending to have what it takes to govern Ekiti State will meet their
waterloo on June 18”, Fayemi vowed.

PoliticsTinubu’s Victory Has Vindicated APC's Nationalistic Outlook - Adamu by mighty2(op): 10:00pm On Jun 08, 2022
National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu has written to congratulate the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as standard bearer of the party at its 2022 Special Convention and Presidential Primary.

Adamu had in the lead up to the exercise demonstrated open animosity towards Tinubu who he said would be severely sanctioned for publicly recalling how he (Tinubu) helped President Muhammadu Buhari to power in 2015.

The party chair had also announced Senate President Ahmad Lawan as the preferred consensus presidential aspirant of the party, a move that was fiercely resisted by critical stakeholders of the party including members of the National Working Committee NWC.

However, in a congratulatory letter to Tinubu on Wednesday night, Adamu said the emergence of the former Lagos State Governor as standard bearer of the APC has now vindicated the party’s nationalistic outlook and patriotic disposition.

He said; “I present to Your Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, my compliments and those of the members of the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, in the best of traditions.

“I write on behalf of the entire membership of the All Progressives Congress to congratulate Your Excellency on the sterling victory that you recorded at the just concluded Special National Convention to emerge as the Presidential Candidate of our great Party.

“Your victory has vindicated our Party’s nationalistic outlook and patriotic posture as the Party of choice for every Nigerian. I am pleased that the Party spoke with one voice when the delegates voted overwhelmingly to nominate you as our presidential candidate.

“It is my sincere hope and prayer that our collaborative efforts between the Party’s National Secretariat and your Presidential campaign team will proceed with the shared expectations of victory at the 2023 general elections, by the grace of God.

“Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest regard”.

Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, has congratulated the National Leader of the ruling All

Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on clinching the presidential ticket of the party, noting that he is the favourite to win in the general elections scheduled to hold in February.

Abiodun, in a statement, said the emergence of Tinubu as the APC presidential flag-bearer for the

2023 general election is a good omen for the party and the country as a whole.

According to him, the victory shows that Asiwaju Tinubu is widely beloved and accepted within the country’s entire political spectrum, and shows his level of deep interactions and acceptance not only within the ruling APC but across Nigeria.

He said: “This victory indicates that Tinubu as a candidate is good for Nigeria, as it will foster unity, love and understanding amongst Nigerians. His electoral victory cut across all the six geopolitical zones; he had an impact in all the zones. He is the candidate to beat in the 2023 elections.

Governor Abiodun noted that Tinubu’s extensive political experience and understanding of national politics will surely come in handy when he squares up against candidates from other political parties during the 2023 presidential election.

While saluting his tenacity, courage and resilience, Abiodun expressed confidence that Tinubu will further deepen the Nation’s democratic ethos and good governance that will enhance the welfare and wellbeing of Nigerians.

PoliticsWe Are Excited Tinubu Emerged APC Flag Bearer – YCE by mighty2(op): 5:27pm On Jun 08, 2022
The Secretary-General of the Yoruba Council of Elders (YCE), Dr Kunle Olajide has described the emergence of Senator Bola Tinubu, as the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the just concluded primaries of the party, as a positive development.

Olajide said this in a telephone conversation with Vanguard in Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday shortly after the declaration of Tinubu as the winner of the keenly contested APC presidential primary, which was held in Abuja.
In his worlds, “I’m particularly excited that a Yoruba man has emerged as the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress, I’m particularly more excited that, that Yoruba man is my own personal friend and compatriot right from childhood.

“It is a positive development for the Yoruba nation, i will call on Nigerians to rally support for him and ensure he emerges the next President of this nation, i sincerely hope and pray that he emerges the President of the Country

“Yoruba nation is part of this country, we have been responsible for keeping this country together as one nation, several efforts have been made in the past to divide the country through secession activities but we have been very consistent, we believe in one Nigeria and we have made enormous sacrifices to keep this country together and I’m very happy that through divine intervention we are being repaid now that our own son has emerged as the candidate of one of the leading political parties for the highest position in this country

“We appeal to all Nigerians to give him the support, because we have the records and the reputation of being very sincere in our leadership of this Country.

You can recall the achievements recorded during former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s tenure . We are appealing to all Nigerians to ensure that he emerges as the next civilian president of Nigeria”

Olajide advised Tinubu to adopt unification, peace and stability of Nigeria as the main thrust of his campaign.

“To make us the giant that we are in Africa and the World too. He should keep the flag flying and leave a very solid record behind. This is his time, this is our time, we must ensure that he gives the desired leadership to this country and make our mark”.
