I'm a Christian but my girlfriend isn't, she only goes to Church but she's really amazing regardless. We already agreed not to have sex until marriage but I'm fully aware of our weaknesses and all measures were put in place to avoid us sleeping together in the same room over the night.

One faithful evening, she called me at about 9 pm that she was already asleep and that she had a terrible dream and doesn't want to sleep in her apartment that night. I waited for her at home so I can hand over my room key to her while I go sleep at a friends place but she didn't show up, I kept calling but she wasn't picking her calls too. Unknowingly, I fell asleep and I didn't really know when she entered and she didn't even bother waking me up as she also do not want to disturb my sleep. I got up around past 1 am and I met her beside me with her head on my chest. I quickly woke her up and reminded her of our agreement but she insisted nothing was going to happen between us but I really do not want to take chances.

long story cut short, I left the house that night for a friend's place, my two phones were both dead so I couldn't reach the guy to inform him I will be coming to sleep at his place. I got to his house very late, I think past 2 and I knocked severally but no one heard me. It was a school environment and his landlady can be very frustrating. I didn't want to disturb the Woman to avoid wahala so I couldn't hit their gate as hard as I wanted. Many people here do not believe in your Faith, Many people who even believe do not have a consistent prayer life, many don't understand what prayer is all about..... The scripture says the fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much, and this will want me to know the best way to pray according to the Bible and Christian belief.

1. We all know we are different type of human being and our approach to things differ alot.
We have the cool and calm beings, and also the stubborn and aggressive ones.

I see how pastor Adeboye preaches the gospel and pray in a cool and calm way and there are signs, wonders and testimony to that effect...

I also know some agressive preachers and prayer warriors like pastor Paul Adefarasin, N. duncan Williams and TD jakes.

Now, here is why i am writing this write up.

1. I sometimes feel i am too cool and calm in my prayers hence the delay or no answer i have in my prayer requests to the most high.

2. I believe in strategic form of prayer and i also do fast and pray when seeking the face of the lord on something... I don't usually think i am too cool or calm in prayers not until i started waiting endlessly for results.
If i am in a religious gathering, it depends on the leader of the prayer points and the prayer point itself that will determine my ginger and how aggressive i can be, but i don't see it going too hot or too cool.

3.what could be the delay of prayer request of somones need I feel satisfied inside of me when i pray in my own way and style. I don't really have privacy at the moment, and i am someone who really doesn't like people hearing my prayer point if it isn't in a religious gathering and general prayer.

I was born into Christianity and i served the lord in a church unit, but I will like to ask maybe there are ways i need to start praying that i don't know or practice for effective answers from the lord.

N. B. I know jehova witnesses don't pray loud or aggressive prayer, and i also know some other religious organization that doesn't do aggressive praying too.

So which one is which and how do one pray effective prayer with fasting without being aggressive

most of us do not take time to scrutinize words. we are so quick to condemn especially when the speaker is a "pastor". our criticism for pastors is really on the high as if Christianity is the only religion in the world. it's annoying that most critics are even Christians. i barely find other religious body do this.. it would have been a little better if we are studious enough to validate informations before condemning them.
