No wonder dem talk say you no get sense grin cheesy .Everything in your brain is APC. Even If your whole family die of hunger, you'll never accept the truth all in the name of partisan politics
I prolly don't av any background info abt wat u're talking abt here bt IMO, he has a point as sm of dese leaders of ours must av @ one point or d other also criticised their predecessors which is what we're doing nw
PoliticsRe: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by mignone(f):

Permit me to observe that it does not take any brain power to criticise and call your leaders failures and folks who are bereft of great ideas. Such criticisms do not really require any genius.

Most of the so-called leaders were once students abroad who were bright enough to return home and who worked their ways to leadership positions. The armchair youths of today, including many dumb ones on this thread forming expert analysts, I'm sorry to say, are worse than the leaders they are criticising.

The leaders are not aliens from Mars but fellow Nigerians and Yorubas. Get off your butts, roll up your sleaves, get in the trenches and show us how it is done. If you don't do that, I'm afraid 10years from now, you may still be on nairaland criticising the leaders of the day.

I have confidence that most of you are mature enough to take constructive criticisms. Yoruba youths ronu o.

Je kin salo ki won to fi tantrum attack mi ni bi o. cheesy
my brother, u dont av to run o. I agree wif u on dt; in fact dt was my thought last night before drifting 2sleep. we can only make d difference in our own small ways by nt towing d same line wif'em.
Y I personally blame dem @ x is as a result of their pretence&theater roles to d public mostly afta a failure. we all knw dt where there is a will, there's always a way; they hardly try is d problem here. if they do&it is evident, they wldnt be blamed so much when failures eventually occur.
this is a waking call to us to assess &as much as possible rid ourselves of wateva vices we may possess nw before attaining (public) heights wen it will all escalate. sori 4 nt being concise

Am yet to be fully convinced we have matured politicians in this clime, everyone kinda in it to clean out and point fingers once things go haywire, how on earth can a country be richly blessed in the soil, on the waters and good climate and still cannot stand on her feet never ceases to baffle me.

If i may go down memory lane, Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark and Denmark as a whole is made up of 700 little islands by leveraging on their marine power they literally built an industry out of water! from fishing to tourism to having the largest container shipping cargo (MEASK) birthed from their country tells me the endless possibilities coastal industries can give birth to if we really take it serious.

Then you have a country like Ireland with ferry services across the English channels, carrying everything from trucks, cars, goods, services and what have you, sailing is bout 3 hours from Holyhead to Dublin and boy o'l boy, those ships never run empty and they do bout 8 trips a day btw Irishferries and Stanalines. . . . . . .again smart folks leveraging on their coastal powers.

Like someone opined earlier, would't it be so nice we have some kind of coastal travel between Lagos and Ondo? the benefit to dangote refinery and the allied industries that will spring up as a result of siting same in Ondo can't be a thumbs down in anyway.
oga mi, av u forgotten dt these callous babariga-wearing rogues only come up wif ideas dt will just benefit them&theirs alone. they only feign passion for d common man
PoliticsRe: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by mignone(f): 1:06am On Nov 30, 2015
ShymmeXS:
Ondo has oil - so siting both the refinery and sea port there would help the state develop.

Then that will also open up Lekki/Epe to Ogun waterside all the way to Ondo's coast.

But these clown are just too darn stupid - all they care about is greed and airbrushing everywhere/everything.

They lack foresight.

they're nt just silly my brother. I think they have deliberately become hardhearted, sealing their consciences. they knw wat is right &purposely going in d wrong directions for greed sake. @least, they visit saner countries, having an idea of wat operates dia even if they claim 2 be ignorant of d details ...

So that heifer, afam4never/balkan/kaycid77 banned you as well? - hysterical.

I was actually posting on the thread - then kaboom, my handle was banned for 25 years, for no reason. Then I checked and saw that it was the biafran phaggot. I just laughed, deactivated the account, and moved to other things. Was gonna come back tomorrow when my real handle comes back live.

If these mofos could be this petty over a simple thread on the internet - only God knows how folks mess up one another in naij cos of tribal differences. Bruv, Nigeria is doomed. Trust me, that country can never make progress with all the hate and madness going on there. grin

What happened to Ajimobi was luck... Him too knew it.... That's why when he was giving his thanksgiving speech he said he couldn't believe him that he would return....

But if was the right structure why didn't Alao Akala returned in 2011 despite the fact that PDP almost swept all vote in both Senate,Reps except Gov... So there's nothing like right structure.... If it's right structure why did APC lose chunk of their reps in oke-ogun and ibadan though some later decamp...
on this, i learnt from a reliable source dt d election was 'neatly' manipulated in favour of d incumbent
