The kids have come again. The mum brought them out and wore them slippers. They came straight to my door and were banging for me to open. Fortunately dh is around and i already shared your suggestions with him, so he opened and told them i'm sleeping so they shud follow him outside so they'll all play at the verandah. But they started packing sand and throwing at the verandah. Since he's stricter than me, he went to carry two brooms and gave them to sweep the sand away. So they are currently sweeping the verandah now and he has stylishly dodged inside and left them there cheesy cheesy cheesy

it's been while here mamas. salute to all-fruitful, waddling, vigilante &'eyeing' mamas. the rift btw our two sisters brought me in. hmmm, u need to know what positively great impact this thread has on many lives&families. seeing such here therefore is disheartening. and to think we're mothers (one way/d oda), what then do we pass on to the treasures God has put in our care to nurture both morally &all when it's evident that we aren't selfless &mature?one of d traits of a virtous woman is 'confidentiality'&maturity; regardless d age. one cld be a counselor, pastor's wife or even sm random person taking u as a comforter; wat then happens to their stories when they make mistakes?we may need to watch it.big sis Chinwendym's comment so touched me.u knw wat it feels like to be disappointed? @my sis cherrymum, never mind; Èdá gbàgbé, sùgbón Olórun rántí.stay blessed all

PREGNANT BRIDES.
Hello sisters, its being a while but can we talk?
Yes, I mean now!
Marriage is a good thing.
Wedding is nice too.
But when the bride's pregnant,
When she walks down the aisle
bearing a protuding belly,
The marriage has being dishonoured.
And the bed? Defiled!
Then, its no longer 'joining in holy matrimony'
It is called Thanksgiving celebration because the
couple has already joined themselves.
This is the common trend these days,
I dont admire nor applaude it.
Be the wife before you become a mother.
bless you bro. one just has to know the true standard of God&our very own morals. the only 'thing' about this arrangement (IMO)is d 'white' aspect of it. there isn't any justification for the old women in white dresses

Christianity EtcRe: "Stop Giving Offerings In Redeemed Churches If....." - Pastor Adeboye by mignone(f): 3:52pm On Dec 08, 2015
double0seven:
"God,”Let me tell you
the truth;the only reason we still take
offerings is to get you out of poverty. From
today if you’re not sure of your salvation
don’t “ever” give when it’s time for offerings
in RCCG. "

This is just playing to the gallery.

The kingdom of God on earth needs money. And God has divinly fashioned it in such a way, that many things (blessings, answers to prayers etc.) are attached to the financing the growth of his kingdom (the Gospel of Jesus Christ) on earth; because that it the most important thing to God in this terrible world. Th growth of the gospel is the most important agenda to heaven, more than any single Christian's life.

But as caretakers of this proceeds given to God by Christian adherents, the men of God who are simply caretakers of the proceed, and are only meant to take from this God's money what they need to live comfortably with their family, take advantage and begins to live a life extravagance and opulence.

So even Gods knows his kingdom on earth and the gospel of Jesus Christ needs money, so for him to say THE ONLY REASON, Redeem is still collecting offerings is because they want to hey the people out of poverty is untrue . That is just reverse psychology.

And the old age adage that says, "Actions speaks louder than words " is very true. The actions of the Redeemed Church, their financial structure of collecting tithes from all the branches all over the country, leaving only offerings, does not suggest a Church leadership that's only interested in collecting money because they want to get the people out of poverty.

Also a Redeemed Church leadership that's ready not to collect even offerings from members because of their salvation would not be fraternizing so much with a corrupt government because of patronage. Such a church, it's leadership and it's head would have been telling the corrupt Nigerian government and it's officials and even the past President the truth. They would have told them God put them in their positions to use the country's resources to better the lives of the poor and the citizens; that if they do otherwise, they would face the wrath of God when they die.

So I'm sorry sir, based on these my observations I do not believe you.
a million likes for you sir... U couldn't have said it better
I only pray &hope that xtians of these days retrace their steps soon cos trouble looms

PassingShot:
Ajimobi got elected for two main reasons which are unconnected to his mediocre performance:
1. His challengers were not necessarily better alternatives. Ladoja was revealed to have secretly returned stolen monies through EFCC and people rightly became disappointed in him. Akala and Folarin are nothing to write home about not to talk of Makinde who was a novice at that level.

2. Popularity of Sai Buhari and his change mantra really helped him and many others like him then.

My major worries are beyond his tenure. They extend to finding a better governor after him.
u can't say it better bro

@ ibebe , there is no way you can love the Yoruba tribe better than i do, love love love ERRTHING about us, It is so bad that work colleagues who are non yoruba call me "defender" cos i don't see nothing wrong in the yoruba way of life...

One told me sometime ago that if she didn't know better, she'd think i have a problem expressing myself in English or Gossiping cos i switch to Yoruba once i see any other kinsman/woman & i will stay speaking even if the person is responding in English. cheesy cheesy

One person from another tribe was trying to ridicule yorubas for having out of wedlock kids even as xtians, told her (+her group) that children are gifts from God & are all wanted, & we are way way better than "those" who throw out the pregnant teens, send them into the streets & sell "the" children!! lipsrsealed lipsrsealed ... They never repeated any of such near me!!! They know berra.. cheesy
