Actually it's more related to the fact that a baby wearing yellow could hide/disguise the yellowness of the skin /eyes and make it harder to spot especially for a lay person. So I'm not saying don't wear yellow, just remember to be extra vigilant.

In less than a second I just found myself on the ground white particles of some carbide chemicals all over me, my cloths torn like a rag.... What happen? that very thick carbide gas cylinder has exploaded....(In a machanic workshop where I took my car for just a minor repair) I Tried to get up in couldn't my leg was heavy, when I look @ my leg it was shattered I saw pieces of my bones outside, I saw my bone marrows falling down from my leg, blood started rushing out of my veins in 2 to 3 places with much pressure like it was coming out of a syringe..... I didn't here any pain but why? Or Is it a dream? I tried to compose myself and, I started moving backward while sitting down..... Now I am fully aware its only my leg... I started thanking God I m alive, people started coming back 1 after the other because they all ran away..... In less than 5 minutes as 3ppl including a police officer were taking me to the hospital my mind was fully occupied with the fear of loosing my leg, coz the damage was so much that I lost the hope of ever using my left leg...... .... Since from that faithfull day 28 Dec, 2014, the weeks I spend in the hospital, with 4 different series of surgeries, I've been trying my possible best not to feel bad or ask God why me, or feel as if some 1 is after me or so, the greatest source of encouragement I got came from 2 different ppl that told me that God saved me for a very strong reason because reason because victims of carbide gas explosion hardly survive, it killed 7 ppl on the spot in jos and another that killed 4 on the spot in lagos........... Now why am I writting this in Nairalad? I tried all I could to delete that particular sceen of the incident from my mind coz when ever i remember the pain I feel I my heart is more than the injury itself, I discover that the pain of the heart is more painfull than the phisical pain of the body, succeeded in doing that but today it cameback even though with no pain, but I just can't sleep last night till 4:30am.... My spirit told me to share this story in my page it will encourage some 1....... Well if you are that person I want you to know that no matter what your condition is WORRY, SELF PITTY, BLAMING SOME 1 or even asking God WHY ME are all from the pit of HELL to toment you, they will never help your sitiation..... 1st of all thank God you are alive, so many people could not even open their eyes after a bomb went off and they are dead, but for you Ūя̲̅ alive, The major key to happiness is Just thank God for what ever is your sitiation..... Most of all. #what ever will not kill you will only make you strong#... I thank God for his grace, faithfulness, protection, inspiration and Love over me that I have no reason to worry...... A pioneering head transplant is in the works and has tentatively been scheduled for 2017.

A lot of research is still ongoing and they have a willing guinea pig but the team is still been assembled to make it a reality.

Have you asked what she did that made her husband to beat and refused his sick baby from getting medical attention? I am not justifying domestic violence.In fact it is wrong for a man to beat his wife, but there are some women that pushes their husbands to behave like an animal.

Blessedtwins will not and never tell us what she did to her husband. No man, i repeat,no sane man will deny his child medical care unless something terrible had been done to that man.let me tell you,if blessed twin's husband comes here and relate his own part of the story,you all will be amazed.So my dear don't give advice when you haven't hear both sides of the story.

@favoredgal. Dr Hestia Thomas use to be my classmate and colleague. Do you know the true circumstances leading to her death before listing her as victim of domestic violence? Everyone's situation is different in their homes. That doesn't give me the audacity to give illicit advice and the onus is on the victim to act accordingly. Have I made any statement that supports wife battering or domestic violence? Have I asked her to stay with her abusive husband?

Instead of people giving illicit advice like selling the car and escalating issues etc. Why don't you address the concerns I have raised in my comment which I suppose are the concerns of the lady in question (Support) rather than attacking my person.

If am to reason like those quoting me....am sure some here are enduring domestic violence, they wouldn't do anything about their own situation, but they are ever ready to act as domestic e-warriors for others. smbh.

On Sunday nite around 11pm when many were sleeping,I was been assaulted by my husband.Before now my dd has had health challenges and has been admitted on and off since middle of October.her latest admission ended just this Saturday night.Alas by 9pm on Sunday whilst sleeping she started vomited every 10mins.i gave her plain water ORS , lemon water even breast milk at seperate intervals but she vomited them all.then she started stooling.by the 8th vomit I told my husband please let us take her back the hospital he said no.my dad who has a medical background now called to say you need to take her if she had vomited more than three times.at this point it was already ten.

My dear men are 'wonderful' beings and what can we do but 'thank' God for creating them.

During my ttc days, I thought I had one of the most wonderful men in the world walking with me. I was always thanking God for giving me such a great man. Only for me to wake up a few months ago to policemen in the house arresting my very own 'gentleman' for raping his gf's sister. He also had six other kids from other women outside. That I didn't die that day is the grace of God.

I'm back to my parent's house o. Patiently waiting to receive my LO in a few weeks. Praying for my child always. Family is truly the greatest gift of all.

Your last statement is wat I want to make clear...he was probably checking for d dose of a drug as there are million medications and he has to know d exact dose to give...ds things are really difficult to memorize and it takes years of practise to know dem off-hand. Even abroad in d USA you see walls where dosage of drugs commonly used are pasted for reference.

I've said it times without number Nigerian doctors are among the best in Africa, otherwise we won't we acing PLAB & USMLE which are int'l exams. Ofcourse they'll always be unserious students who probably escaped from medical school or bought their way through med school but most doctors are actually trying I can assure you of that.
