Will NYSC Allowance Increase to ₦70,000 Following the New Minimum Wage Approval?

The recent announcement by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu approving a new minimum wage of ₦70,000 has sparked widespread discussions and speculations across Nigeria.

Among the many conversations, a pressing question for many young Nigerians is: Will the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) allowance be increased to ₦70,000?

It will be increased, but it might not be immediate. The last time the minimum wage was increased was April 2019 when #30,000 was the new minimum wage, it was till January 2020 before NYSC allowed was increased to #33,000. And I happened to be in the batch that received just two allowee at #19,800 and then #33,000.

I was in JSS2 when I asked our senior prefect girl out (SS3). It was a bet actually which I won but she flogged shege for my body for about 2 straight weeks in company of her male mates because she felt disrespected. Didn't apparently go well but since then, my confidence skyrocketed. There is no woman alive that I can't woo, she can only decide to do whatever.
No non-related woman is bigger than me nor unapproachable to me.

Interesting.

I disagree with the email approach to resigning. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad if it was a100% remote job. If it was a full time physical, onsite job or even a hybrid job then you have to follow due process and resign in person and with full respect to the statutory or mutually agreed upon notification time frame.

It can't be that hard to leave a on a good and even note.

I guess you don't understand the write up. It's not that people just get up and send resignation. I mean even after resigning the proper way, and staying to properly hand over, and sending hand over note. Email is the proper way to send in one's resignation na, you won't tell them by mouth that you wanna resign even in person. They don't tell people when people employed about any time frame, till when people say they wanna go. When you ask them for proof of where they gave you such, they can't provide it.

Truth is they didn't even replace me after many months, same way they do to others, they hardly replace people. They believe their strategy to tie down people will always work. When people are firm they're leaving, it becomes a problem.

They give most of their former employees negative reviews. They have high rate of stuff turnover cos of their poor human management. Employees are usually said to have absconded even after sending resignation and handover notes. They also enjoy slashing staff salary anyhow. It seems one of the major goals of objectives of one of their directors whose name begin with V is how much of staffs salary he can deduct monthly.
They've been times 80-100% of Employees Salaries have been deducted for the month. And when carry out the act of wickedness, they don't remember so called processes and procedures. But when Employees want to leave they all of a sudden remember so called processes and procedures that is used to manipulate employees and tie them down.

Career / Dear Employers/hrs, Kindly Balance Your Background Checks by MikaelDare(m): 9:27am On Feb 08
Dear Employers/HRs, while it's important to always go through background checks regarding a Prospect/Potential New Employee, it's also important to do a background check on any Past Employer who gives a negative reference/review to a Past Employee, especially Privately owned businesses.

There are many organization(mostly private) that are very toxic and have high employee turnover rate, with Employees leaving always because of the hostile environment. Most of these toxic organizations usually give negative references/reviews to virtually all their past employees.

This is why there are platforms like Glassdoor that help employees also give their own reviews about past employers.

Employers/HRs should therefore do their background on an Organisation when it gives negative reviews/references regarding a Past Employee. Check what previous employees too are saying about such company before making conclusions and taking decisions.

Employees too should ensure they leave reviews about former Employers on platforms like Glassdoor to help Potential Employers and Potential Job Seekers make informed decisions.

Honestly.
It's as if ETH has been taking some substances that have been affecting him.
Benching Varane for Lindelof/Shaw even in big games in the past few matches.
He doesn't have any excuses. Just poor decision making and man management.
Cos his excuses of Varane not being comfortable in LCB doesn't hold water as he'll have performed better than those he's been using there.

Though the good part is that they try to pay Salary early to ensure it doesn't enter the new month, also you'll learn and grow if you're willing to.

But the management style is poor, the management most times contradicts themselves in giving directives. The pay is poor, and people are expected to show up everyday from 8-5 being overworked and overstretched, and even work overtime mostly without compensation. There are so many unnecessary deductions done on staffs salary, most times for ridiculous and absurds reasons(Sometimes up to 40-80 % of staffs salary could be deducted in a month, On One or two occasions 100%). Staffs are usually harassed and shouted at for every little matter. There is a high rate of turnover as Staffs have to leave as they can't cope with the toxic atmosphere, giving more work to the already overworked staffs remaining, and the circle continues perpetually.
Leaving the organization is also usually an issue, even though they will claim otherwise, but most employees knows that they usually have an issue when people want to go and inform them, no wonder most people who leave take off without informing them. In my case they refused to pay my last salary because they didn't want me to leave when I left. They held that the salary up till today.
Virtually all employees who leave are usually recorded as "absconding" even after sending them written resignation via email.

Then the worst part of it is that when reference is requested from them for past employees, they give employees bad/negative reviews/reference (Which is why most people leave without telling them since they will get a negative review anyways)

Funniest thing is that they don't even see anything wrong in their management style, they think the employees are the problem(When 80-90% of employees who begin every year with them leave before the year runs out)
A look at their review on the employers rating site, "Glassdoor" will give you a perfect picture of how staffs are treated.

Yes, Just that The Hag refused to give him opportunities in Carabao cup where he should have playing time.
Now he'll have to go straight into playing high value games without practice.
That's the issue I have with Ten Hag. He seems to lack player management and knowing how to rotate players.

True
I didn't even expect he'll be a started straight up. It's normally better for new players to be eased into a team rather than start them straight up. In this case Mount has to go back to the bench and be eased into the team.
