The festive season is now over and I'm back... ... The first time I was woed on behalf of someone was when this relative came to my family to tell them that his ancestors instructed him to come and get a wife from his uncle's household, my paternal grandfather was his uncle... It was only me and my immediate elder sister at home, the family first tried to woe my sister on his behalf, but she wasn't interested, they tried everything to convince her, but she wouldn't budge... They then started pressuring me to take his offer to be his wife, but I couldn't bring myself to do it, I was only in my early 20s while this man was in his mid to late 40s, not only is he old enough to be my father, his first two children are almost the same age as I am and he's a two times divorcee... He's also big, he'd crush me with that body of his.

My family went to the extent of even trying to entice me with his achievements, he's a very educated successful man who's very much financially buoyant and spends his time between SA and abroad, but all of that didn't matter to me, I couldn't do it.

The second one happened in 2024, I was at a salon when this guy started hitting on me. I told him I wasn't interested and that I was off the market, but he wouldn't take a no for an answer, he instead started asking the people in the salon to beg me on his behalf even if it meant him becoming my side dude. To my utmost suprise, the salon stylists along with his friend who was with him started trying to convince me to give him a chance, people don't respect married people's marriage vows anymore... I had to give them silent treatment to finally get them to leave me alone... Few days later, my stylist still called me to let me know about how the guy has been disturbing her to talk to me...🤦🤦🤦

And the time when I woed someone on another's person's behalf was back in varsity, this languages and communications junior lecturer asked me to hook him up with this other classmate of mine. Me and the girl neither were friends nor close, it just happened that he bumped into us together while we were headed to class, we were even late... I had to find a strategic way to try and convince her to agree to meet with him, at first she wasn't sure about how she felt about it until I told her that the guy was studying his master's degree in the UK..😂😂😂... She immediately agreed to meet with him and he asked me to deliver her in his office after our afternoon class.

Don't mind them, people like her when they get to their mid to late 30s will be forced to date and marry guys who are much younger than them. The respect and submission they don't want to give to the guys when they're younger, they give it to guys who are 5-7 years younger than them when they're in their mid to late 30s. The issue is getting feedback from companies when you apply through those sites. I haven't gotten feedback from companies when I apply through Hot Nigerian jobs. It makes me wonder if vacancies actually exists and not being cooked up by the website admins.

Two of my main full time jobs were from Hotnigerianjobs/Myjobmag. Plus plenty other interviews.
You might need to get someone to check your CV/Resume if you've been applying to the right jobs for over three months without a single response. (Btw, I do CV writing/revamping).
I've spoken with a number of people who complain about not getting interview invite if feedback, when I see their CVs, I see the reason there's no response.

The fact that she's 33 and unmarried doesn't make her bad. I have some cases where ladies where in a long term relationship of about 5-6 years, when it's time for marriage, one or both parents doesn't agree with the Part er based on tribe or religion or age.
Some of them were also in long term relationship with someone who jilted them after 5-7 years of the relationship and married someone else.

These are some of the reasons why some ladies are single at that age.

Okay, not so bad.
The only issue I have with such ladies is that while in their early to mid 20s, they keep talking about how they can't date or marry even their agemates, but once they clock 33+, desperation sets in, and they all of a sudden don't mind marrying and submitting to guys they're many years older than.
