Lol... Can we just go back to our normal business the way we were before the list that invited some of us to Ojo came out. God is the ultimate, even if u merit it and God does not want u in the NN some how u won't get. Understanding of things like this is very Key, all things work together for good. But always have this glued to ur mind, " THE BEST WILL ALWAYS HAPPEN" to the glory of God.

Bro my candid advice to u, before u get to the point of paying for jobs make sure u have done ur home work properly. Let me be honest with u as far as interior is concern now it's only strong men that can make things happen for now, even money might not be able to get it at the moment. People resume on daily basis in their various state commands. mind u, u don't have to believe this as well because I know many people here are relative to doubting Thomas. But trust me God is the ultimate. It can only get better and definitely the best will happen. As for ur money I think u ask the person to update u adequately and convince u enough why u shouldn't collect ur money now otherwise now is the time to collect ur money

Those trying to grumble because they were screened out are simply stupid. Be thankful that you were screened out on medical grounds instead of going to training to die.
One of those screened out on medical grounds (state withheld) died last week in a hospital from illness. Is that the kind of person that could have been allowed to join?
The sensible thing to do is to go get yourself rechecked and treated if medical was the cause, instead of trying to arm twist your godfather to put you in.

I did verification of credentials but the officer wasn't satisfied with my age. He penned 29 yrs and was like "hope you are aware the age requirement is 28 by December 2017?" And later wrote NQ which I believe is not qualified. All hope is not lost though... I wish I could just return to my work place tomorrow.. Lols

I'm thinking there might be an update today on this. Some guys meet with one officer and discussed with him, they showed him the guidelines and he showed one red neck officer who then said they will discuss it in their meeting. So u can just try and listen up when the time comes

May be u should check the list again, the list itself is a restricted document and that's why u see it on all the pages.

Someone in Navsec told me. He saw the list of what the board will screen people for. Age is the first... Second class upper things too.. I also will be 29 by May. A friend who is a rating in NNHQ also confirms it. But let's be hopeful.. We applied when we were 28

let's try and reason it out, I'm not trying to object the statement but I'm thinking if a Job advert specify 24yrs as the limit and u are able to apply at the time, even if the process span over two years I'm sure the organization don't expect u to remain 24. In order word if as at the time of application u are not over age then I don't think it should be a problem
