There's a saying in Yoruba, whoever is caught in the act is the thief. If ABU is a substandard university in Nigeria then all I can do is laugh and laugh...
Majority of people commenting on this issue have brain but refused to use their analytical mind to evaluate carefully.
1. They said Geography can never be in Faculty of Art. Aside that it's been proven we all know that serious universities do review their curriculum year in year out hence it explain why some course were removed from one Faculty to the other. My brother graduated from a Nigerian university with BA Mass communication, two years later people who graduated from the same university same department were awarded Bsc Mass communication.
2. They allegedly said he served (NYSC) in 1999, whereas the tweet never said anything of such. In the tweet he said ABU 1999 set in Kaduna camp. Someone has also told us that they both served in Kaduna in 2000 and passed out in July 2011, Senate also confirmed this.
3. They said he didn't graduate. The Vice Chancellor said based on evidence available to him as the serving vice chancellor he graduated with BA Geography. Mind u, the year the school senate approves ur result is the year u graduate as far as the schoo is concerned.
4. On Convocation brochure, believe it or not, either by omission or what have u some peoples name will not appear on the list, does that mean u didn't graduate?
5. As far as Nigerian Universities are concern, u can't rule out waivers and it's not up to u.
I'm not related to Dino, I just feel to whom brain is given common sense is required.
Yes we all know that there's no smoke without fire, but Yoruba people said it's only people that squat that can see themselves very well. That is their business because it doesn't put food on my table. The simple truth is Nigerian Universities are Not there yet.

how are we suppose to believe that the particular page that shows BA Geography Third class is either 1998/1999 or 2000. I don't believe it.
Moreover, so if my name is not on the convocation list of my school it means I didn't graduate.
Please if u are yet to collect your certificate go and do so as soon as possible.
For those shouting he did NYSC in 1999 and graduated in 2000 please use ur head. Someone has already told us that they both served in Kaduna, they resumed camp in Aug 2000 and finished service in July 2001, u can still choose not to believe, but the picture below says ABU 1999 set, meaning people that graduated in 1999.

I'm equally following the story carefully, from the tweet I saw Dino Never said he did his NYSC in 1999, he said ABU 99 set. Is this the same as serving in 1999. Please if I don't have anything serious to say on this saga keep quite.

Because talk is cheap some people have displayed their ignorance by saying Geography can never be under Faculty of Art. But this https://geography.abu.edu.ng/About/history.html answer their ignorance.
ABU is not obliged to respond to public Enquiries on whether or not Dino graduated from the school. A panel is already carrying out an investigation on the matter, i believe if ABU is required to provide details about him they will gladly do so.

Changing the school will not solve the problem, as a matter of fact I see it as a national issue. what it means is virtually more than 30% of Nigerian schools at that level will also be using this same textbook for that class. The issue has to be discussed at the PTA level where some other parents can also have their input on the matter

Most ladies are now commenting why not if not so that they should be commended as wives material. The question should be if a lady could stay in a marriage of 100k?. Getting married to a man with that amount isn't the issue, we know out of desperation, circumstances, religious affiliation and family reasons many women will. But if the man over the years doesn't improve will she cope? Yes I can, does it mean the lady will be happy in the marriage when she sees her peers or co wives flaunting flamboyant lifestyles. What happens if eventually she start earning more than the man, will she remain humble? Does living a flamboyant life put food on her table or does it add money to her pocket. Life has no formula, it's not a competition. And a a matter of fact she who loves to live a flamboyant life should have enough money to support that.

I can not but agree with that part " we came late to Nigeria" because I remembered when my pastor said when he was in University of Ile-Ife now OAU, that they used to give them money, so much then that some traveled out why some bought cars, as a matter of fact he bought a car too. But that Nigeria has Expired, so we came when the country is already old and very sick and no one to salvage the situation. Grace of God is sufficient for the common man. It's only when things have gone awry that we use post like this to console ourselves but the truth is in a sane community it shouldn't be the case

hahaha. see as people de bomb church. we should all be careful in the church. You can also see why Muslims do arrange themselves the way they do according to gender. Lets not rush and say things anyhow it comes into our mouths. As simple as it sounds, there are some things that just look irritating. Imagine introducing a new pastor in the church and his first move is to call his wife and start kissing her there. Peeps, kissing your wife ain't wrong but some things just look inappropriate.

all I can do right now is laugh as in proper laugh... PDA and Insubordinations a married man trying to support his pregnant wife by holding her in the waist is now regarded as Public Display of Affection, its ok God is watching everyone in 3D but my conclusion on the matter, I believe the church authority has probably been looking for a way to punish the said brother for an offence best known to them and this happens to be a very good opportunity for them. I don't blame them, when most of those church leaders are operating an autocratic government in their various home why wont they see such act as PDA. way forward, serve the suspension, there is no need wasting your time and energy trying to explain anything to anybody they already have a deterministic response in their mind. once you are done with the suspension kindly integrate your steps and look out for a living church where the leadership of the church is headed by the Holy Spirit and not vain leaders who are out to destroy homes that have joy in and out simply because of bitterness and jealousy. there is no need worrying yourself over the incident let it slide while you move onto things that will better your life and family in the new year both spiritually and otherwise.

@mimzy I am thinking of goin back to my enlistment centre to ask my officer why he dt NQ for me...becos he delayed b4 writin it...I know dt whateva job role I apply for I read their criteria b4 doin so...do u tink its a gud idea askin while he wrote NQ for me because it was yestaday I got screened by past 10pm

Well, if ur luck shine he might explain to u why the remark was NQ otherwise u fit buy market o, those guys aren't nice at all.

Because some of the FO doing the screening are garbage in garbage out, I know there's a general guidelines, but it takes person wey sabi to know that some of the department/units advertised are not courses that people do at first degree, they are areas of specialization which are embedded in these courses. E.g Satellite image Interpretation is NOT a Course at Bsc level, it's an area of spec. data management, network engineering, programming, web design are all under computer science.
But trust me some of them will be waiting for someone that will come with Bsc/HND programming or Bsc/HND web design etc. those are the kind of things u get when this kind of exercise is going on concurrently at different centers. so basically Na the grace of God.

Do they study network engineering, programming or software engineering in first degree here. Are some computer scientist not specialized in programming, Networking and software engineering? Aside Computer Engeering every other thing mentioned is under computer science

I have 3'10 (Honor). Out of 4'00. I want to classify it into Nigeria grading system. That was why I asked that previous question?. I was wondering if it's 2.2 or 2.1?.

Nigerian university grading system is either 5 point or 7 I.e UI and 3.10 is 2.2 second class lower for Nigerian grading but when converted should be 2.1

I don't know what is wrong with the Officer that did my own screening he said am not qualify because I study computer science and I applied for Information Technology. So he wrote NQ on my name.
NQ means Not Qualify
