sisisioge: Are you by any chance a married woman with four kids and a sis in-law four years younger than you? I don't think so. I'm single and don't give a sheet about being called my name right now by anybody. In fact, I work some jobs with 19yr olds who usually think we are contemporaries cos of the specifications of the job, they all call me by my first name. It doesn't matter now but it would if I were married with four kids and my lil brother's wife decides to think we are contemporaries. Biko, get real. Iya Nkechi, sis Rebecca...or nicknames like Iya, maami, olori, sisimi, woreva will also suffice. Whew! Individual differences, but trust me e no carry water. |

tosyne2much: Emusmity, this write-up is well researched and articulated
I think the reason why most ladies end up in late marriage is because they live in fantasies and view marriage from a myopic view. That is to say that they screen and discard men for ridiculous reasons in their prime just to satisfy their fantasies. Another thing that don't make men take them serious is that some of them have nauseating characters and are fond of saying "accept me for who I am". Most of these ladies don't really work on their attitudes but are only concerned about how to bleach, enlarge their butts/bosoms and look better than other ladies. The truth of the matter is that there is no perfect lady anywhere, but any lady who doesn't want to subject herself under the control a man will surely end up chasing men away.
And when they can no longer find men that will take them serious, they automatically become feminists. They become arrogant and will start raining abusive words on men that they are worthless. They will change their motto to "marriage is not for everyone" just to make marriage look inconsequential Right on point. That's their new way of consoling themselves |

alexialin: What's the big deal to greet first ?
Op,u really have time sha.
Where I stay and where I work , some of the people there have issues with who greets first. Me I don't have time jare . I quickly greet hi good morning , as am walking away .Even if the person is way younger and even not my class . I still greet to avoid frictions and bad belle . Cos tmrw ,I may need them for something important .
Even my landlord as he is ? Greets first and bounces off to his car....no time mehn. He hates waiting for who wil greet first when he has other important things to attend to.
So op,try and chill that mentality of yours .Greeting anyone first will not kill u. Neither will u become poor afterwards . U dey my mind. My brother will say who does greeting help, does it put food on ur table, does it put money in ur pocket or does it even increase ur net worth. U have spoken well jare. Those are irrelevances. |

johnson232: Lol...Do ladies hide human head in their rooms....
This issue of knocking is somewhat subjective & depends on the relationship....often times i don't knock before entering my sisters room...the door is even always open, just with a door curtain hung on it... I think I disagree with this. U can't just enter someone's room without knocking, it is regarded as lack of home training. It's just common sense, then talk about a ladys room, U just have to knock. There are cases where I knock and I'm asked to hold on and after few seconds then I'm asked to come in. Let's call a spade a spade. The act of opening someone's room door without knocking is absolutely unacceptable no matter the level of oneness in the family. Oneness doesn't in any way erode respect for one another |

My two years old nephew usually knock his parents door before opening. He doesn't need help to open the door because his hand can reach the door handle but he will knock the door first before opening. I blame the guy for opening the door without knocking, It's their house and it's not every time they have to lock the door, certain things are expected of an adult. And the much I can say is the guy doesnt respect his brother. Even when my brother's wife traveled, if I need to see him in his room I still knock before opening the door it's just common sense |

No body should come and preach for anyone here. marriages with their peculiarities. No one support domestic violence, as a matter of fact we all condemn it but for those of u coming here to claim saints I pray u won't experience what some people are experiencing in their marriages. FortuneTeller: Unless she is chatting about body parts for rituals, what you have seen does not matter. It is much easier for a man to marry than a lady. She has to talk with different men so that she does not miss her opportunity for marriage . If you truly care about her, don't say anything about what you have seen. If you are ready for marriage, do the introduction, then monitor her activities. If she continues to talk to other men then it's a problem . Did u read what u typed. Meaning he should also have some other girls around too so that he can compare and contrast and then make his choice. He should not mind what he has seen but go ahead with introduction so that in the event of eventuality he should cancel the introduction is that what u prefer. Chaiii na waoo. Can u advice ur brother to do same. Trust is earn, he need to get to the root of what he has seen because in the long run people like u will still blame him for not doing his findings before going ahead to marry the girl |

Hyerin:
I'm just curious but I watched a movie were a guy broke up with his girlfriend after he found out she wasn't a virgin (cos initially she lied she was but later told him the truth). Not only in movies do these things happen, but also in reality. Why?
Men want virgins but they themselves aren't virgins. Going to mess up and shxt like that but when females do it. Oh no. She is a slut/LovePeddler etc. Gender inequality much? Not to be a "third wave feminist" or "neo-radical feminist" but this is how I feel. So much is expected of a lady but little is expected of a man. I mean, why?
The world is changing everyday. Stereotypes are being broken. If you expect women to be pure & chaste before marriage then why can't you? (referring to men)
P.S. if you can't be civil or polite. Get off this thread. Don't be a nuisance. U don't need to explain further, this might just be the problem

I don't seems to understand the way they intend to go about this recruitment exercise. Zonal enlistment exercise will take place from 1-8 July 2017 which means there won't be any form of aptitude test. Mode of shortlisting candidates will be determined by them. From the last exercise I witnessed I just zero my mind on air force |

I personally feel the system is very poor. If issuance of international Passport which has more applicant than drivers license can be almost instant or max a week depending on the number of applicant in the center it's been processed, I don't see any reason why license should take as long as 8 months to be issued. They have to decentralized the production and issuance centers make their system more effective and timely |

I want to disagree with this, but if happens to be true then whoever develop the software they are using should be flogged. Why should we have multiple application when the software can easily flag an error (saying data already exist) at the point of registration. More so that the data capturing exercise take place at the Road safety office. Na waaa |
