Do not stray from what was written above, instead provide arguments and not just a sentence that makes no sense.

So I was privileged to use the Redmi Note 7 over a long period of time which was around the span of a year.

Although I've always loved MIUI and all of its customizations but it was definitely a first time having a feel of their own device.

The phone was made out of glass on the front and the back but with a plastic case. Very nice feel and premium design with sharp cutting edges but also felt "plasticky". This is beginning to sound like a review which I'm not interested in doing so let's cut the chase here.

The bottom line is their devices are good from my experience and usage especially considering what we already have here in the country, yes I'm talking about Infinix and Tecno.

I believe the level of customizations and work Xiaomi puts in their devices cannot be compared to anything Transission can offer and trust me when I say this that most of their devices are nothing but palatable trash. Still on this, Xiaomi Phones are not the best or even to considered as saviours in the smartphone world but when you factor in the prices and craftsmanship of these phones you are left with no other option but to consider them worthy.

There is no perfect phone and most Xiaomi Phones are budget devices that offer some flagship functions.

Having used devices such as the Infinix hot 8 and it's lite version I've come to a conclusion that when it comes to UI, ram management and overall feel; Xiaomi exceeds by a large margin.

I recently decided to do away with my Redmi Note 7 after the camera glass broke and images got blurry from the damage and also the power button broke cause it's made out of cheap plastic.

My advice is this, if you're sourcing for premium features and peace of mind, do not consider budget devices especially from brands like Xiaomi, umidigi, oppo and the rest of them.

But my dilemma will always be why would Nigerians take out their hard-earned money and pay for over priced phones which continue to offer mediocre specifications and are way worse than anything Xiaomi could offer.

So I'm back from my long hiatus but I've been peeking around, so let's get this started.

The first thing I want to note is that Tecno, Infinix and the other one are totally substandard devices that have nothing to offer but total mediocrity. The only reason Nigerians go for them are due to accessibility and it's generally availability cause let's be honest they're not really cheap.

I've handled several of them from the Infinix hot 8 and also the lite version and making this thread based on usage and experience.

Body/feel

I personally handled the Infinix hot 8 for a complete day and I've never experienced such lag in a device and back then I was using the Redmi Note 7 as a basis for judgement. The phone (Infinix hot lagged so much and easily heated up despite being new as compared RN7. The screen was also a mess, to be honest the brightness was quite but it was definitely lacking in quality which sounds absurd for a phone that was just newly purchased (not by me mind you).

UI

All Tecno and Infinix phone I've handled felt the same, the launcher was a mess and sometimes ads appeared as apps on the app drawer. The user interface can only be described as "punchy and shiny" but lagged and applications took time to load up. The UI wasn't the best out there but it was definitely something so atleast a rating of 3.5/10.

Gaming

This was actually a funny experience but I transferred the Injustice: Gods among us from my Snapdragon device to the Infinix hot 8 per my friend's request which was a mistake since I failed to realize that the GPU was different (adreno Vs Mali) the Infinix used the latter and I had to download the game directly from playstore and I couldn't hold my laughter as the game struggled to load a 2gb game file.
I made some comparisons with subway surf and they managed to run but quite slower as compared to RN7 or the Samsung s8 I wielded at that time.
Rating: 4/10

Calls/speaker
Receiving calls on the Infinix hot 8 and it's lite version was a breeze as expected and the speaker was quite loud for a Chinese device as expected.
Rating 8/10

Camera

I'm not even going to get into that but I'll say this most shots were clearly overexposed but were Instagram worthy while some? Not so much
Rating: 7.5/10

My main issues were the performance as the processor struggled to perform daily simple tasks and the optimization was total rubbish and the UI looked mediocre as compared to recent devices in the same price segment.

Asides the ram optimization, the phones looked cheap and lacked that premium feel and design. I could only describe as cheap plastic but funny enough they aren't cheap.

I hope I've been able to convey my thoughts into words but the bottom line remains that Transission devices lack basic features and if those few features are present, they're advertised as high-end technology (a joke, I know). Their devices are sold at exorbitant prices despite being inferior and substandard in quality and it's a shame most Nigerians don't know what they get their hands into.

My hp laptop shakes each time I turn it on before inputting password and when I want to play a movie or listen to songs, the VLC or other player starts shaking too. Every other time, it's normal. Pls what can I do?

I was trying to install apps into my system on Window 10 through DVD ROM but the system did not even display anything. When i tested the DVD ROM with video cd it worked fine. Pls, what should i do

open the cd and you'll see the setup file inside the drive, try running it and if doesn't work, shut down your system and change your boot order by pressing f9 (works for most hp laptops/systems) make sure to select the Cd drive and it'll try booting from there. But my candid advice installing windows from a CD-ROM is not advisable, it's quite slow and you can run into a lot of errors its preferable you download the ISO file and make a bootable USB drive.

I've tried YouTube videos but the stuff still won't update.

You have to install the .net framework 3.5 or higher, it's a necessary component for the app to run

To be honest it's quite okay, I won't say impressive but it's totally okay since most laptops can't seem to exceed 4-5 hour mark before shutting down

I'm having some problems with 2015 windows 10 on some systems. I installed Corel draw x3 on the systems and suddenly the start button stopped working on all of them. I tried going back to Windows 7 but the system can't boot from DVD when I insert the windows 7 disc only Windows 10 works. how do I fix this?

Please make sure your apps (Corel draw etc) make use of the same architecture as your pc i.e x32 or x64, if the issue persists try installing a different version of Windows 10

Who knows the cause of this?

it's usually cause by a hardware error or installation of incompatible softwares, it's a common issue on windows and quite popular and can be easily fixed by rebooting your system.
