The phone backlight off when making calls.
Either I bring it closer to the ear or not.

Meanwhile, I have tried all the possible means to rectify it, even by turning off the proximity sensor over and over again.

I watched youtube videos and followed the stated instructions yet the problem remains.

Sometimes it works fine. Most of the time I have to switch off and on the phone before I can make call that I want to put on speaker.

Some of you are just using phones without even knowing how to use it, complain everyday about a little issue you can fix yourself, making it look as if a particular brand is not good.

I recently changed my phone, then I downloaded new Whatsapp app, doing the installation process after putting my number the verification code was sent which my phone number got verified.
The next stage it displayed was "Looking For Backup" it has been showing the "Looking For Backup for the past 3hours without going forward or even backward.

Please I need help to fix it.

Custom salary was increased 2019 and the take home for level 8 officer is above 250k.
