Please note that this thread doesn't have any intention of castigating the female folks but if you fall under these category you better start amending your ways because it's becoming annoying to me.

1) when you take them out, they bring out their phones and start snapping the food: what the hell is that? Are you that hungry? Can't you have some decorum in public? They act as though they have never seen an exotic dish in their full life. Next thing is to start looking for nylon to wrap the meat with the excuse that they can't finish it. When it comes to using cutlery they flop, you see them battling with the knife and fork. Some would put the fork on the right hand and still be feeling cool. Smh

2) They spend so much on makeup: yes with empty pockets yet they buy very expensive makeup. A friend bought a mac powder for 13k recently and was begging me to lend her money, who does that? What's the point using iman, mac, inglot, sleek, orekelewa etc when you can't pay your rent or eat properly. They always make mouth about using expensive makeups, don't let that deceive you, they are broke!!!

3) They go to expensive restaurants in group: 6girls on a table with a bottle of sprite and a plate of steak meat in a bad ass place like hardrock cafe? When they see you placing orders and swiping your card with ease they feel intimidated. You can't compare someone who leaves the house 5am everyday to work their ass off to you who spends your time chatting and doing nothing! A miracle can't happen.

4) They use really expensive phones: if i'm in a ladies hangout and you trying to impress me with your phone, I look at your hair, your handbag, your nails, your vocabulary, how you comport yourself, how you eat, what you wearing.....if all these added makes 10percent outa 100 sorry you trying too hard to fit in, you are broke!

5) They always snap pics in cars and hotel bathrooms: if I dare see multiple hotels pics as your dp, I delete that person instantly. A hotel bathroom isn't an office, the front seat of cars isn't an investment. Taking selfies in cars doesn't make you posh, how about owning one yourself? Quit the childish act today, thank me later.

6) They use fake leg chains: sorry babe if your leg chain ain't gold, you are broke! You can't be sampling a gutter used leg chain you bought from balogun and be acting big. By the way has your leg chain helped you? Those 5 piercings you'v got in your ears have they connected you? Did you decorate those piercings with gold earrings or cheap metals? Better look for a way to seal them up.

7) They worship boyfriends: sorry a relationship is cute and all but you can't be jobless and idle and be talking about boo, boyfriend, man crush 247. What do you bring to the table? Boobs and ass? A good fvck? Thrashy! Trust me, he would dump you for a lady who has focus. Build your pocket first before a relationship!

Last but not the least, they are always on nairaland. Biko what are you always doing here? Fighting every Tom, dick and Harry? Imagine me going through threads created since Monday and some particular ladies are always insulting people 247 on every thread, don't you ladies have shame? After miss nairaland what next? You go back to empty pockets, dirty pants, unkept hair, smelling armpits(yes that's what happens when you hold your phones 247) the height of joblessness! Get busy my friend! Go and register in a saloon, makeup school or something. Y'all are beginning to disgrace young ladies here! You can't spend your life online 247, in 5years time ask yourself what you'v achieved.

While all the tips above might be helpful, the major fact is you'll never have a chance with any reasonable single guy if you:

1. WANT MONEY
2. HAVE A UGLY FACE
3. HAVE A BAD CHARACTER/PERSONALITY
4. HAVE BIG BELLY
5. GO BACK TO NUMBER 1 since it's the most critical

We (parents and the society) need to educate girls more on being successful for them self, there's no better way of having high quality guys come your way than being really successful yourself.. look at most successful women today (academically or financially), they have the best guys in their own right.

What stalled the flag off(of the mambilla) was because of the 15% counterpart funding which was expected to be recouped from the privatisation of the NIPPs but which wasn't ready due to some teething challenges.
Therefore, Fashola should quietly continue the implementation of the two contracts and not trouble our ear drums as if they've done something we've never seen on the two projects.

Fulani herdsmen met their waterloo in Ihiagwa and Nekede, both in Imo State when some women decided to stand up against the AK47 wielding Fulani Herdsmen.

The activities of Fulani herders had become so unbearable in the immediate environs surrounding Nekede, Ihiagwa and Federal University of Technology, Owerri. The herders freely moved their cattle into farms destroying as they trotted along.

The women in these two communities couldn’t stand the combat ready Fulani herdsmen. They convened a meeting and brainstormed a way forward. The women had no gun, knife or any weapon that could match that of the Fulani marauders. Then out of the blues, one genius idea dropped into their mind.

Women understand that grazing animals cannot stand the smell or hotness of chili hot pepper. The women decided to try out their genius idea. They decided they were going to spread red-hot-dried chili pepper around their farmlands and see the outcome. They tasked themselves asking every woman in the community to donate one 1 derica cup of grounded pepper each.

They assembled a huge weight of pepper, organized themselves in groups and embarked on a night crawling job. They spread the pepper across all farms in their area and waited. The next day, the marauders came as usual with their cows. But this time around, they noticed something was wrong with their cows. Within 30 minutes of invasion, their cows started lowing and running amok.

15 cows died! The Fulani Herdsmen fled and sanity returned to Ihiagwa and Nekede. Imagine what this would mean if Benue, Taraba, Enugu, Delta, Imo, Abia, Anambara and other States embark on this novel idea. Imagine what would happen if these States boycott taking on these Marauders headlong.

Meanwhile, the Chairman, Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association in Jos, Mr. Nuru Abdullahi, said it’s the constitutional right of Fulani herdsmen to move freely in Nigeria movement.

Abdullahi said,

“The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria guarantees freedom of movement for every citizen of the country; this includes the right to live, work and carry out any legitimate activity in any part of the country. If and when you breach this freedom, then, the law should deal with you. So, asking anybody not to go to any part of the country is unconstitutional.”

Please I really want to know, why Nigerians and and blacks in general behave like animals, unless they are beaten and whipped by people they perceive are bigger than them (e. g security agents) they just tend not to be have well,
I was stuck in traffic today, for almost 2 hours , as a result of reckless drivers taking our lane, as a result blocked it and stalled the traffic under a heavy downpour, some well meaning individuals, came out of their cars, soaked trying to control the vehicles, but they didn't bulge , despite the fact they were on our lane and had stalled us from moving... not long after, some security agents came and started flogging all the reckless drivers, breaking their side mirrors , and slapping them, within 5 minutes, the whole road was clear, and we were able to scale true... This is not my first encounter, it has always been been a recurring incident I see...

I felt sad, my compatriots were treated like that by security agents, but on a second thought, perhaps this people understands that they are animals and needs pummeling to act right...

My question, why do blacks and Nigerians behave like animals that needs to be flogged and pummelled before they act Right?

A popular online newspaper just lied today that 70% of Nigerians want the Senate President, Hon. Bukola Saraki to resign, because of his on going trial over allegations of corruption.

How many of the leaders of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) are not corrupt?
If a comprehensive investigation is done, majority of his fellow senators will be on trial with him. So, what is all this political nonsense of the political victimization of Senator Saraki? Because he refused to be the stooge of the political godfathers of the APC?

His trial is a distraction from his resolution in the leadership of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria after his election.

Being a graduate of mechanical engineering with interest in pipeline engineering, I have watched this issues pessit for years and thought what could be the solution
First what's the problem? The problem is that people chose to blow up strategic pipeline insulation to get government attention.
How can they do this since the civil defence are securing the pipeline? While this is basically because the pipeline passes through the thick rainforest and it is difficult to police.
What is my solution then? ? My solution is simple it involves the change in direction of the pipeline, what do I mean,.. . I mean build new pipeline following another path..
I know this may sound foolish and expensive, but hear me out, if pipeline are built along our major express roads..(atleast in the Niger Delta region) it will be easily policed.. .. since patrolling would easy
Is the engineering possible? I can emphatically say yes, the size of gas pipeline lines are a maximum of 48'' and that of crude oil maximum of say 1000mm and this can easily go under a federal high way or even in between a dual carriage Road
Is it safe?? Yes it is after all all the streets of the major city in the world are sitting on gas transport network and yet little or no incident have been recorded, so why not borrow this method to solve our problem
I have done the the engineering design and analysis and the results am getting it's really good. this my humble solution to my dear country
I know it may be expensive but it provides long lasting solutions
Am open to debate from follow engineers and critics alike
