hucienda: These guys are holding the state by the balls... abeg make dem remember the masses reduce their acts of sabotage.
The 'new sheriff' in town should know how to negotiate with these guys cos it's virtually impossible to fight one whose sole aim is sabotage of thousands of km of pipeline network, O&G platforms and allied architecture... cos to destroy takes a second whilst to design, construct and commission takes months, nay years. after they destroy we will see where they will get money for food. biafra own go small compared to theirs. but half of budget is funded by customs and taxes. Jirate: 1. Persistence Power Failure: Before now, Nigerians were used to power failure and many yearned for a Change. But the Change we got is worst than what was obtained before. These days, there is hardly light. This poster lives in Benin City, the Edo State Capital where many residents are given lights on a 3 hours and 6 hours blackout basis respectively, but recently, there is hardly Lights. buy solar 2. Persistence Fuel Scarcity: The government claims that fuel is now available but it is still way above the approve price of N87 per liter. In some towns and cities, it’s close to N200 or more. If petrol is available but expensive as it is now, then one can safely assume it’s still not available. Suffice it to say that it has never been this Bad. form petrol import and mini refinery cooperative 3. Hyper Inflation: This is the Persistence Increase in prizes of goods and services now prevalent in Nigeria since the second coming of Buhari. Food prizes are now so high in many urban areas that many now go to bed Hungry. Instead of APC supporters to cry out, they would rather blame the past administrations, despite the fact that this was not the case before now. A hungry man they say is an angry man, many of their supporters are now hungry and bitter. www.nairaland.com/3088952/high-cost-food-items-nigeria enter farm and factory 4. Deadly Fulani Herdsmen Invasion: Before the last general election, Fulani herdsmen invasion was largely unheard off. These cattle rearers live with their host communities peacefully and quietly. But today, they are always in the news for all the negative reasons. They have invaded several towns and villages spread across the length and breath of Nigeria with deadly accuracy, killing and maiming many in the process of grazing their cattle some times on arable crop lands. Nothing visible is being done by the authority to stem this evil tide. buy plenty dry pepper or rat poison 5. Unbridled Retrenchment of Workers: This government came with a promise to create 740,000 New Jobs immediately it assumes the mantle of leadership, but what do we have today, massive sacks left, right and center. Some of these lay-offs are occasioned by the repulsive Forex Policy of the Buhari administration which has made it very difficult for many businesses to access forex. Many Nigerians are now praying and hoping that things will change for the better and not for the worst as they are now.

The NDA are not a lunatic band of religious fanatics like your boko cousins.
If anything it is your Buhari that brought this upon himself. And if he tries nonsense he will hang in the Hague .
Just like desperate Omar Bashir who stepped up his genocide in Sudan over oil, Buhari will see to Nigeria's dissolution and his eventual arraignment in the Hague.
The idiot doesn't know he is playing out a well scripted role which his puppet masters in Washington specifically selected him to play .

Like I said then, I am of the opinion that the reason Nigeria government keep getting away with obvious lies is because most Nigerians are not well travelled.
For clerity I have been to major cities in EUROPE but it never bothered me this much that Nigeria is so backward because I believe they have a head start.
Well, I am currently in south Africa and in Johannesburg. This country is 100times ahead of Nigeria in all indices of development.

I might not go round making noise on social media on the steps am taking to curb the violence in Nigeria, to curtail economic meltdown and to alleviate poverty, especially giving and empowering the less privilege. But trust me, I have done far better than you can imagine, not just chest beating or drumming an empty drum.
Be careful the way you talk to people on social media. You don't know who is who....we are all just faces in the crown. names withheld is our biggest problem. why do you think politicians hawk groundnut, cut ponmo, and buy fish from roadside. cos a picture says a thousand words. when you give to God nobody needs to know .if you want to help pollute the, problem you have to play politics or economics or name and shame (socialics ).keeping your people's empowerment to yourself is not helping. it's deceiving yourself. if you like insult me. if you like ignore me. you are not my enemy, ignorance is and I will fight it at my level. as soon as I move to next level I will also fight it at that level. if people know what you're doing a few more will emulate. if you hide it. na your pocket be dat. why help 100 ppl (I'm sure it's not ur to) when you can help 100 million. it just means you're no different from politicians sharing rice with no sustainable goal in sight. lemme just let ppl see in doing something. not good enough bro. if truly you're a patriot |

oduastates: Largest economy my butt. Nothing but Iweala statistical 419 for Jonathan's reelection. Even after massaging and inflating the figures from agriculture, it is easy for the discerning to figure out that the South African economy is not only larger, but deeper. It shows not only from the size of their budget but even from their agricultural output. Products which are exported all over the world. What about banking, telecommunications, IT,statistics, tourism, mining, show business, construction etc. South Africa totally owns Nigeria. Lastly, when I say that Abuja is rubbish for the money spent and wasted on it, your picture proves it all over again. South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia etc were building power plants, steel plant, aqueduct, pharmaceutical, IT,industrial and technology Hubs while our useless leaders were wasting money on building a chappy and soulless capital. Guess what? they are still wasting money on that rubbish. The worst thing is that Nigerians cannot even build their own damn roads. They give the contracts to foreigners to build them substandard infrastructure. it's like you missed the class on growth and development and some reading and comprehension. largest economy yes. per capita and other indices no |

Btppolitics: I have read so many comments on the N56,000 monthly wage proposal by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and many of the speakers are of the view that it cannot be achieved. From my own point of view, the demand makes a lot of sense and it can be achieved. But in order for that to happen, the truth must be told. Reports on the ongoing workers verification in many states revealed that there are many ghost workers in the system; which means that money is going into the wrong hands.
A lot of people on the pay slips have no business being there. Even some that are employed are not offering any service. If something is done about this, there will be money to take care of genuine workers. Governors must also cut down on the cost of governance. The money spent on the day to day running of government houses and other unnecessary travels with large entourage must be looked into. There is also the issue of free pilgrimage seats to Makkah and Jerusalem. Pilgrimage is strictly a religious affair and anyone who wants to embark on it should be ready to foot the bill. The salary and allowances of lawmakers should also be reviewed downward. They are not rendering more services than other workers across the country. If their salaries and allowances are cut, there will be enough money to pay the N56,000 minimum wage. The current administration is bent on fighting corruption and all hands must be on deck to ensure that it succeeds.
http://btppoliticstoday.com/n56000-minimum-wage-feasible/ what is 56 k times 12 times 1 million civil servants. (there are actually almost 3 million civil servants but for sale of argument let's use 1 million) |

I can't see any reason why some items like biscuit, plastic buckets, toothpaste, purewater, bic shaving stick e.t.c should increase in price, these are items we don't import.
Could it be that we are just the architect of our own problem.
