Fill the passenger locator FORM and order your test kit. It's no more pcr but lateral flow test now . When is your flight? Read they are cancelling pre departure test from today. Don't forget to hold your fresh bank printout of your statement of account and CAS. Just Incae they ask at the point of entry

Good morning luchibianca. Can you give more insight on this lateral flow test. Please is the method same as pcr, when they will insert that long nasal swap into your nose. Secondly will the test be done in naija or uk. Thank you.

We are all waiting here; my wife and children are waiting in Nigeria while I am waiting in the UK. We did biometrics in VI on 14th and 15th Dec respectively.

God of miracles must answer us in Jesus name.

I need to reunite with my family here in the UK to face my studies. It is hard living abroad without your family, if you have a close family you live with before in Nigeria.

Paid Mail: 31st December 2021 ( Decision Made)
Transferred to VAC: 4th January 2022 (Before 8am)
Received Collection Mail: 4th January 2022 (12:30pm)
Passport picked up at 2:00pm

No NSF, No additional request. Long study gap.

But I was having issues paying my visa/ihs fee till it was successful in Dec 8. But I have already started filling my visa application before my visa/ihs became successful. So I printed my POF in Dec 9 which covers the duration from Nov 9 - Dec 8 (30 days) because I wanted the visa/ihs fee to reflect in my bank statement. I uploaded my docs including POF in Dec 10. I hope I am safe o.

No. You must wait till your POF is mature before submitting your application online and paying your visa/IHS fees.
You can start your online application before then bit don't submit be fore POF maturity.

This is not true.
You must have the money for 28 days BEFORE you apply.
The application date is the date when you fill the form and pay visa and IHS fees, and NOT the date of biometrics at TLS.
Check the official website on Gov.Uk.
