Hi, my resumption date is January 10 and final face to face enrollment is January 28. I hope am safe, because I am about to make ihs/visa fee payment today.
Then can I print my bank statement tomorrow after deducting the fees today? Thank you.

On Friday, I stood for 6 hours and still wasn't attended to. It was war.

Please, I am about to fill and submit my application tomorrow. Gurus in the house and those that have refusals most especially from USA and Canada that have gotten their visa explaining this issue. I have 3 b1/b2 visa refusals and a Canada Study visa refusal.
At the moment I don't have access to my usa refusal papers anymore except for Canada but I can remember the years. I decided to pick random month to the best of my knowledge ( I hope it is a great idea to that)
Kindly check the way I responded to the questions in the visa application, especially the part asking for extra information if I have any. It would be greatly appreciated if someone can help me on this case.

Please for those that have had USA refusals. How did you tackle it. For those that do not have refusals your ideas will be appreciated. This is urgent.

Hi bro, I just saw your post, I have not been refused for the USA, but if i were to advice, I would suggest you change the "I did not prove that I was qualified ....." to something like "to the best of my understanding, the consular was not convinced I qualified for a b1/b visa at that time.".

The way you put it makes you too culpable.

Hopefully, you find some more guys who have had US denials to help. But don't take the blame entirely for the denials though, you are giving them too much reason to repeat it if the almighty USA saw reasons to deny you in the first place.

Good. Try and send reminder to IOTeam1@hud.ac.uk about updating your offer, so as to get your unconditional/CAS on time. Dec 17 is the final day for CAS issuance. Therefore, you have a short window to get your CAS check email to confirm that your profile and details are correct. Make sure you check your portal from time to time too.

I think if you have left school for that long, get your reference letter and resume ready to submit alongside the others. If you want to submit your net salary thing you can, but I don't think it is important, really. I hear that sometimes they send an email to ask for these things hence delays, so Is it better to just get the whole thing in at once and get your results fast enough.

Yes. Pay #8,500 to standard chartered Bank, lagos or Abuja depending on where you got the tb certificate with you. Then afterward print your receipt. Make sure you get to their office before 12noon. The painful thing about the whole stuff is if you get there early in the morning eg 7am you will get your corrected tb test certificate with someone that came around 11am or even 12 noon sef. I got to iom office at 8am, submitted my old certificate after 10am, I got the new certificate around 2.15pm.

When u calculate 470 multiplied by 4 years that's the amount.
They usually charge for extra 6months cos of the extra months you'll be in UK before graduation.
So multiply 470 and 4.5 years

I was first asked to send Bio Data page of old passport showing the stamps and previous Visa. ( I applied for this application with a fresh passport i just renewed 3 months ago). I sent the old passport on Tuesday and then on Thursday i got another NSF to send employment history to explain the study gap since 2011. I sent that same day and now i am waiting.

Thank you so much for your response. Please do you suggest I send my employment evidence though it was not part of what my CAS required I should submit. I have seen people with study gap from 4 - 12 years or more were ask to explain their study gap. Mine is 9 years.

Please are you saying I can't print bank statement from the bank again for visa application. I am starting my application on monday or tuesday. My plan is to go the bank on Monday or Tuesday to print my bank statement. I use zenith bank.

I give glory to God for this. It has been a long wait.
I felt my application was not too strong, but God came through. Been refused once about 13 years ago but there was no mail from them concerning it (Also traveled a couple of times after that without any type of extensions). So to help someone else as it's the culture here;


DOCS UPLOADED

Passport Photopage (And actual passport during biometrics, of course)
Statement of Account (I did 29 days).
BSc Certificate
Transcript
WAEC (Photocopy, meaning I had only a black and white copy).
CV (Complete resume since I left Uni almost a decade ago).
Reference Letter from my company.
* I forgot to submit my CAS, but it's advisable to submit your CAS because its an academic sponsor evidence. Some say the CAS number suffices - indeed it does, but it's better to have more pieces of evidence than less, I guess.


TIMELINE
Visa Application – Nov 19th (Priority)

Biometrics – Nov 23rd

Application moved to VAC – Nov 30th

Collection Mail – Dec 03

Passport received – Dec 03

I thank God for this, I also thank @scobyy2007. He encouraged me to go ahead and apply in spite of some of the fears I had.

Congrats. Please were you told to add employment evidence in your CAS Statement? My last study was 9 years ago. On my part I was only told to add neco, transcript and certificate in my CAS statement. I have my past employment reference and from your advise I can request for my current job reference with my net salary monthly on Monday, even though I already have a work reference i requested from my boss when I was applying for admission.

You can print a statement covering more than 28 days, that's fine, as long as you have held the required funds for the defined 28 day period.
