Olabenjamen22: Lol, i guess you are the one that need to stop talking trash here, and go back to school to learn the different between religion and culture so that you will stop bringing culture into this matter, well her believe too go against her living under the Leadership of an infader, so why did she want to become a citizen of a country rule by infader if she really admire her belief. Well i don't celebrate hypocrisy.
And can you please give me one reason why handshaken is not normal?
So you mean she know that the mode of greeting and celebrating of the country she want to become part of is not normal but she still want to become part of it? Actually you are the braindead here.
Lol, culture that told you that your own traditional way of dressing is haram so you have to cover your head with one middle east cultural cloth, last i check my people have been covering there head with (gele, ibohun etc) before the imported Arab culture come, Lol.
Wait did you just said the word other attempting to rubbish it?
Last i check others are not the one using the so called root to start bombing people up and down but Muslim themselves does.
Lol, i don't mix culture with religion and that's the beauty of my religion, if i may ask which culture in Africa go against handshaken?
So who is loosen there culture between me and you? I guess know that Islam doesn't permit a male child to prostrate and greet his parent, which is a culture in yoruba land, so who is loosen his culture?
Brother stop shouting culture up and down here, that hateful attitude in never an Africa culture, so if she can abide with one stupid Arab culture for her whole life and neglect her own Africa country, why cannot she abide with the culture of the country she want to become part of, for just some minute? Well happy Sunday. It took you almost a day and half to compose this foolish story and yet still ranting of topic and at the end not making anysense but You are quick to throw insults. I am sorry you are not intelligent and lack understanding. But for the sake of your stupidity i will reiterate my point one last time perhaps you might get it this time but idiotic arrogance wont let you accept it. " i admire the fact that she repects her culture despite what is at stake but i dont support her action". Do you get it now block head. Please learn to tolerate others, everyone must not accept your beliefs same way you have yours is same way they have theirs, you are full of hate but no ammount of hatred can change that. May wisdom fall on you. |

Liliyann: Wakanda Nonsense be this Your wedding is a special day,its a day to look beautiful and be in your finest appearance!!! Wedding should be lavish and tasteful, it involves finances!! Wedding is not just about saying "I Do",it has more meaning than that. How can someone be looking like this on her wedding day? I bet she isn't even wearing shoes!! If they can look so haggard and poor on their special day, then I wonder how they will be able to cloth their kids!! Naah i disagree, you can only speak for yourself i bet many other people have different views, same way the colleagues of an overseas international super star that earns tens of millions of dollars annually will frown at their friend wearing a $2,000 shoe is same way you are frowning at the lady not wearing makeup. Its her day her life her choice, you dont have anyright to want it in any particular way for her. |

Olabenjamen22: Lol, and which one is there culture? I hope you are not referring to that middle east imported culture,
my yoruba people cannot even bear there yoruba name again and you are hear saying they believe in there culture. Smh You are talking off point because the lady in question is not yoruba. Anyway If she is bold enough to refuse a handshake because its against her belief then i admire that and i think you should too. You have been brainwashed to believe that a handshake is normal and the norm. Thats one thing with moslems, just like their women wearing hijab not that i support it but i admire the fact that it is culture and they still stick to their roots which has been handed down from generation to generation despite attempts from others to rubbish it, it is their identity it is whom they are. But you. You dont have any culture it has been lost or you have abandoned it for a foreign culture. Same goes for countries like china, india and others that still stick to their roots. i do not support the woman i just admire her strict adherence to culture. |

iamJ: nigeria is a failed country not because of our leaders, its because of us, we are all self centered lazy ungrateful, hypocrites that want free thing without working, u think that am lying?
go to aba and see fake drugs
go to lagos and see fake products
go to any business owned by a nigerian and see how he will charge u unnecessarily for no reason
we like to lie to ourselves and deceive ourselves, when ur pastor says God will visit boko haram and destroy it and u say amen, sit down and ask urself how? the same prayers up and down and ur life never improve, ask urself na?
buhari didnt lie, we are lazy
person go church and say amen to buy car and build house and the person sells onion, how na?
person carry him family do juju to get money
scams, land sales, car sales, mmm and the other ones
buhari might be blunt and harsh but in our hearts we know that what he said is true What you say does not make any sense and sounds idiotic and i am vexed that such proud display of folly can come from a nigerian. I would have educated you if you were smart. Human beings are naturally selfish, there is no country in the world where there are no vices. Even if it a population of 500(nigeria is 7th world most populous country out of 195 !!). Worse crimes are comitted in countries like china but .....arghh... why do i even bother. |

Wealthandjobs: The president is stating what is in public and international domain. He wants the narrative changed and I will support him like every other patriots sir It is not fact that nigerians youths are lazy neither is it fact that illiteracy means lazyness. Those your facts are what a president is supposed to play down and not put fuel to fire, if not for anything atleast for the sake of politics. Its hard defending a failure. Ask femi adesina. |
Politics › Re: ”Lazy Nigerian Youth” T-Shirts And Cap (Photos) by millomaniac: 5:17pm On Apr 21, 2018 |
Wealthandjobs: Apparently, you have not listened to the speech. The president was lamenting and appealing for investment in Nigeria. The multi billion dollars investment commitment by Shell was made possible by such appeal I have listened and watched the video about thrice. Your president told the world that more than half of the youths of his country dont want to do anything and all they wanna do is sit down and do nothing because nigeria has oil and thats what they depend on. In as much as that was not even the question he was asked but For chrisakes how can a president publicly paint his country in that kinda negative light. He is expected to be intelligent. (perhaps his health is failing who knows). He couldnt provide an intelligent answer. You should examine yourself. Ps: shell and other multinational oil giants should and have always been in contention to increase their stake in nigeria's oil. Because they make huge gains here than in other countries because of widespread corruption in the nigerian government. The president do not need to appeal anything rather it should be Stakeholders from other sectors. |

tesppidd: No amount of twisting, No amount of cursing, No amount of falsehood, No amount of propaganda,
Will stop the Buhari/Osinbajo ticket.
PDP as a party had 16 years of mismanagement and went on a looting spree.
We completely reject to forget so soon.
We reject the tortoise mentality.
Buhari till 2023. APC till 2055.
The sweetest joy would be when the 2019 presidential result is announced. When I see these ipob touts/ wailers weeping and grinding.
Suddenly it would hit them that elections are neither won by the number of likes on nairaland Nor by the amount of cursing and clapping.
-Control of 24 states -Control of the national assembly -Control of the INEC. -Control of the DSS. -Control of the Police. -Control of the Army. -Control of the Navy. -Control of the Airforce. -Kano and Lagos votes in check.
Buhari is not Jonathan. Mahmoud is not Jega.
PDP will never rule this country again. Well i guess you got a point. But what you failed to factor in in your biased and bought over mind is that 1) buhari is notorious(even jonathan was not as notorious as buhari) 2) unlike the old days rigging is becoming harder and more sophisticated and with the backlash from nigerians if buhari attempts it, it will be obvious and it will cause a lot of problems for the country. 3) pdp was also in control but they still lost. 4) like everything, nigerians has a limit and that limit has been reached, i have never seen such a clamour before from the public themselves to actively participate in next years election. I dont think nigerians will take any bulshit lying down from next years election 5) and the most important of them all. GROW A CONSCIENCE !!! buhari is not the only man in nigeria. |
