BUA Group , one of Africa’s leading industrial companies, is set to commence the construction of a 2,000tons/day Plaster of Paris (Gypsum Powder) production plant.

This was made known during the signing of an agreement between BUA and MMM Erba Makina of Turkey – one of the world’s leading equipment suppliers for plaster production to supply the equipment for the plant.

Upon completion in 2022, BUA’s P.O.P (gypsum powder) production plant will be Nigeria’s largest plaster (gypsum powder) production facility.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Abdul Samad Rabiu, Chairman of BUA, said that this signing marked another milestone in BUA’s journey to becoming Africa’s leading manufacturing and infrastructure company.

“We are pleased to sign this agreement with a world leader in Plaster manufacturing machinery, MMM Erba Makina, to build our 2,000tons per day P.O.P. gypsum powder manufacturing plant which we expect to be completed in 2022.

“We are confident in their expertise, quality of equipment and capacity to deliver on schedule. On completion, this plant will further deepen our involvement in the entire housing infrastructure value chain in Nigeria and the West African region.”

In his comments, Melih Baran Kilic, Chairman of MMM Erba expressed excitement at the opportunity to work in Nigeria with BUA Group.

“We intend to bring our wealth of experience in delivering some of the world’s best plaster plants to bring this project to completion on schedule,”he added.

BUA is one of Africa’s largest manufacturing, mining, foods, and infrastructure conglomerates with its
headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria.

Established in 1988 by industrialist, Abdul Samad Rabiu, BUA currently has significant assets and business interests in Cement Manufacturing, Construction, Real Estate, Quarrying & Mining, amongst others.

LagosNissan:

How do you all relate to account officers please?

Mine for Gtb is female and one for Access is male.

At times, she helps with some stuff within her line of duty.

The last time I did tbills was towards month ending.
I did it from a different state branch cos I travelled. They still sent the instructions to her. She called and started "crying" that I was moving funds. She said it would give her negative rating.

I promised her some funds would still come before the 30th of the month.

Same with the guy at Access.

I don't like them knowing about what I intend doing especially moving funds cos they would start "crying" about moving funds.

Note that I had left all these funds fallow during low tbills rate, coupled with the fact that I was expecting a deal then.

NOW, these people see you have some money in your account. (Not all ve my money o. Family biz money, a kind of huge but in my personal account.)

AT TIMES, I FEEL LIKE GIVING THEM sth, but I don't know what it would feel like. Or the impression it would create.

At times , I feel like calling them randomly to ask about their welfare. Especially that Gtb own. Na fine gel grin cheesy shocked tongue

How do the ogas here handle this?

Is it good to be jovial, friendly etc with them? Will it lead to abuse?

Note I usually give tips to tellers or customer care reps when they help with my requests. But my account officers are far from my location.

All talks are on phone.

Oya advise me pls cool

Bro your mind is already made as you chose to use this word "Especially that Gtb own. Na fine gel".

Do what's in your mind with your money. But don't come back here to complain about what one account officer did to you oo.

Imagine trying to mix business with pleasure.

I've been debited. I use GTB.

From what I can calculate, it about 8.9%. rather disappointed as thought I would be higher. sad

Or I guess GTB bidded low because I believe they missed out on that last auction

Has anyone else been debited?
From the look of things, it's like Stanbic didn't succeed. I'm yet to be debited. Is anyone with Stanbic successful here?

Zenith Bank share price in 2017 still dancing in the same range price in 2021, same as other stocks. Inflations rate skyrocketing everyday with no end in sight.

More $$$$ will buy more units of zenith bank shares come December 2021 compare to now because another round of devaluation is looming.

Adjust and plan wisely in this second half of the year. Goodluck to all NSEMPA family!
