BusinessRe: When Will Yuan/Naira Swap Deal Take Effect? by MimiShopping: 2:14pm On May 31, 2018
BanjiHols:
Sometimes i try to have faith in government promises.

This particular one.. Can someone well knowledgeable explain/state how and when the implementation will take effect?

Will we at least be able to buy x2 of what we are buying with the dollar in China at implementation?

Please dont lets start talking about Techno 85k becoming 12k.THIS IS NIGERIA.

Thanks as i await your inputs.
Even if this swap deal is implemented, it won't benefit or favor small scale or mini importers.

It is meant for big importers who import raw materials from China not mini importers who import finished goods like fashion items and the likes.

And to obtain the Yuan, you will need to go to your bank to apply with the necessary documents obtained from government body in charge of approving designated raw material importers.

So guys move on, its not what you guys think it is.

The best you can do is keep using reliable Nairaland exchangers to buy Yuan and send directly to your supplier's alipay account and save yourself the stress of waiting.

For those asking for Chinese websites to source for items cheap, try:

1688
Taobao
Tmall
JD
Paopao

For those who wish to send Yuan also known as RMB to their supplier in China, you can contact us for that.

We also offer pay on delivery logistics service nationwide at affordable delivery rate.

We can also help you find any item you can't find on your own in China, just send us the picture.

If you wish to start selling on Amazon or in Asian market from Nigeria, we will train you on how to start this and guarantee your financial future such that Nigerian crashing economy no longer concerns you.

You can shoot us a mail to: mimidotng at g mail . com for enquiries on any.

Wishing you all success in all your entrepreneurial struggles.

God will favour your hardwork

1. Yahoo boys

2. Drug barons

Maybe due to their too high financial demand and expectation from guys, making it difficult for normal hardworking guys to befriend them, its a pity cry
BusinessRe: Mini Importation Bullets. by MimiShopping: 8:11pm On May 11, 2018
After importing what u want to sell, and it arrives Nigeria, selling it fast is the major focus, and one of the fastest ways to sell your imported goods is using jumia, konga and selling on your Facebook or Instagram accounts.

Now for those who want to do this business but are not living in Lagos, you cannot do it because Jumia and konga don't allow people outside Lagos to sell on their platform, and this is where Mimi Logistics comes in.

We will help you store your products free at our warehouse in Lagos; at Oshodi-mafoluku area, and help you prepare your orders; print the invoice from your Jumia store, package it with Jumia/konga carton or flyer and then drop off the item at Jumia or Konga office for you while you are in Kano, Kaduna, Aba, Port-harcourt, Calabar, Osun, Ogun, Delta, Warri, Bayelsa, Ghana, etc.

We charge between 350naira - 450naira per each item we help you drop off at Jumia. So you don't need to print, we print for you and you don't need to enter motor to go to Jumia or konga office to dropoff, we do that for u too. Your own is to focus on adding more items to sell and selling more to people while we handle the logistics, packaging and dropoff for you.

We have been doing this for some nairaland members and many other people since 2014, and we have over 50 clients already and still expanding.

1stargeneral:
Go and register with Jumia and get a store.

Look for a female product that is trending and post in your Jumia store. use the 20,000 to purchase it.

Sales will begin automatically but I expect you do more ads on it.
Try this.

Hmm! I have had such experience with a step sister - married now,

She was the one who remembered details of our child hood naughtiness

I don't know while these things happens
It is a very common trait among females. majority of females feel romantic attraction for one or two members of their family; cousins, uncles, nephews, step-brothers, etc, I think women are wired very weirdly cos most times, a more handsome and awesome guy will be asking them out outside, but they will prefer to indulge in incest with their blood brothers, cousins and close males, its still a mystery sha

dont feel too special, it is common with ladies to have this romantic feelings with one or two close males thats always close to them....it maybe their cousin brother, their nephew, their uncle, their teacher, their pastor, their colleague, their boss, their course mate or class mate.....dont think u are a hero, it is normal, at least every guy I know including myself had female cousin or cousins who once loved them, move on to avoid destroying your future out of stupid cravings

The only problem in Nigeria is poverty due to unemployment, underemployment and generational lack.

Kill poverty in Nigeria and watch Nigerian ladies stop complaining about sex and will also stop complaining about being used and dumped.

Blame all these on poverty cry

Thunder fire our past and present leaders who ruined Nigeria cry

America, Canada, Germany, UK, Australia, Switzerland, France, Spain, Netherland, Finland, Luxemburg, Belgium, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc that are developed and successful nations indulge in all kinds of sex; gay o, lesbianism, bestiality o, incest o, just name it yet these countries are successful, things are working there and everybody is living their dream life and very secured.

But here in Nigeria, due to poverty, women monetise their body, women attach so much material gain and monetary value to their body....and once a graduate is unable to secure a job after NYSC or looses a job due to bad economy, he or she says its because he or she had sex the other day, Nigerians and blacks are brainless!

Fight your stupid leaders to fix your nation and u won't need to fast all year to get a job and u won't need to form born again to get a job or husband, instead u worship God simply because you love God and want to worship Him not because u need a miracle or urgent solution.

Make una wake up, sex this and sex that, sex is no big deal.....if u have feelings for someone and u guys click, do it and move on and stop attaching so much importance to sex.

Nigerians eh, na wa o....na the same sex sex make Nigerians crazy about BBNaija nothing else, wasted generation of backward nation angry

mikel15:
First of all let me start by saying this, the question most nigerians ask isnt how to make money from ecommerce? but how will i get paid?
i started ecommerce last year april using shopify and i was happy running facebook and instagram ads, paying influencers in my niche in america using paypal and i also did google adwords express optimization and seo...till i discovered that using paypal in nigeria...i cant get paid,i was down, i was broken and the funny part of it was that i targeted the american market,so all my pay should come from americans right? i tried paypal express, same thing and by that time i had a thousand store visitors and 30 orders which i couldnt fufill because of paypal,i was so pissed.
so i started going around looking for american influencers on my niche in instagram,i sold bags....here is my site: watchbag.myshopify.com
so met one and made him a staff in my shopify store...and thats it all started..ill continue this thread when 10 people comment continue...
why do you want to deceive your fellow youths who are struggling to make it like youhuh Why not tell them that you want to sell a service that helps them do Facebook advert and open shopify storehuh Why hiding under the guise that you are making money from selling on shopify when you are not, why why whyhuh

Nigerian youths need to change for good. Stop all these misleading lifestyle, it won't take us anywhere.

For those who maybe sending him PM, note that shopify is not free. You pay $37 every month after your first 2 weeks trial period elapses, so whether u sell or not, u must pay your shopify monthly subscription of $37.

Shopify business or dropshipping business is not as simple and easy as most Nigerian information marketers make it to look like just to sell their ebooks.

Visit the store link he added as the store he used to make $701 in August last year and u will understand that this op is smart heartless, dishoneat Nigerian youth, be careful of him and his likes. Guard your little savings previously.

BusinessRe: Spare parts business , anyone interested ? by MimiShopping: 7:03pm On Apr 11, 2018
pepboys:
Hi everyone,

Does anyone have experience with sales of GENUINE spare parts in Nigeria? My observation is that a high percentage of parts sold at major markets like ladipo are most times substandard or outright fake. We all know the effects of substandard parts on our vehicles.

I am thinking of setting up a spare parts pre-order business where car owners can conveniently place orders on our website and receive their parts within 7 days (10days max)

These parts will be ordered exclusively from the US.

For trust issues, there is a registered business office customers can place their orders at (orders can also be placed online)

I will appreciate input from anyone with experience in preorder business model.
From a professionals perspective, I will analyse what you are about to venture into to give you a better understanding of how ecommerce and online sales work in Nigeria.

First, let me inform u that I am a mechanical engineer by academic profession but have now ventured into sales and marketing both online and offline.

Before I established my online business; ecommerce, etc, I worked with a big transport company and later with a company that serviced transport and logistics firms by providing them with automobile tyres (for cars, buses, coasters and big trucks), fuel and oil filters, vehicle speed limit devices, tracking devices and later car programming service for electronic trucks like Mack, Volvo, Sterling, etc.

During my years of working as a sales rep and later a coordinator with major on automobile services, I discovered certain things about Nigerians and their consumption of automobile services and products.

If you the owner of a vehicle go to the spare parts shop and buy a spare part to fix your vehicle without giving the mechanic the money to go and buy by himself from which he will make some kickback, the mechanic will condemn any parts you bought by yourself citing uncountable reasons why the parts is bad.

This is one major challenge with selling spare parts online in Nigeria because I once thought of establishing it in 2014 but after much research and based on my person experience, I had to pause it.

So for the above reason, 99% of car owners in Nigeria have no other option than to give their mechanics money to purchase won spare parts for fixing their vehicle. Which means low sales for any online spare parts dealer because the mechanics that buy the parts are not internet savvy to buy online and will never ever buy parts online when they can rush to their regular partner on crime parts seller to give them one they would make profit from irrespective of the parts condition.

Another challenge you will encounter is convincing Nigerians to pay before delivery, it can never work well with costly and delicate items like vehicle spare parts in Nigeria. Nigerians find it difficult to pay konga, a reputable organisation that had been delivering items to them to pay on delivery for items less than 10,000naira, now talk about Nigerians buying items worth thousands and paying an unpopular brand before they deliver, it will take a lot of resources to make this work.

I render such service; nationwide pay on delivery service for ecommerce entrepreneurs and those who sell things online.

So pls make proper research like u have started before u launch out to avoid avoidable losses and eventual failure which I pray not for u.
