Thanks louie for the lovely information. I've just concluded the voice over for one of the videos. To add to what he said earlier on, you can read through this site http://www.howtogeek.com/217348/how-to-record-the-sound-coming-from-your-pc-even-without-stereo-mix/ to see how to record sound input from your system. They also added how to use audacity to record. The beauty of using audacity is once you record, you can edit the sound immediately. You do not need to start importing the audio before editing.

Also audacity saves the audio in wav format. To convert to mp3 which is the file format explaindio requires, you can just go to media.io, upload the file and select the format you want to change it to which is mp3 in this case or you can also see here how to add mp3 support to audacity http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/40274/how-to-add-mp3-support-to-audacity-to-save-in-mp3-format/

This will be highly appreciated. I downloaded the natural voices but the inbuilt voices (just 2) sound very robotic. Or if you can drop the link to download the software and the voices, that will also be appreciated too. Thanks.

You can download a text to speech software. You will get male and female voices and in different accents like american, british, chinese etc. There are several softwares out there but many will just give you a robotic voice. So after much research i discovered NaturalReader and downloaded some natural sounding voices. This is what i use for my gigs and tutorials. I hope this helps.

Hi house, cc all video makers in the house.

Please I've been working on a couple of videos for a buyer using explaindio. The issue now is he wants me to add voice over and he's willing to pay more. I told him I didn't have a US accent but I could speak very well and he sent me a couple of texts and asked that I record my voice and send which I did. And he replied saying he loved my voice.

The problem now is I tried recording the voice over with my system but the sound quality was beyond horrible.

So, does anyone know how and where I can get a really good and affordable external microphone for pc or do you know how else I can do the voice over and get a better audio output.

Its really urgent. Its about 9 videos and I have just a few more days to deliver.

One account is a US account, the other one is a nigerian account. I use epic browser for the us account and firefox for the Nigerian account.

The client should provide the e-mail addresses. If you have used the software before then it shouldn't be a problem knowing how to send the bulk mail. Look at other gigs to know what you can charge them.
