Nonexisting1: The quality of customer you get depends on the quality of goods you sell. Is Chimamda Adichie not married to a white man? See how the woman looks immediately after divorce, does that look like who has been responsible? Where and how did she meet the so called white man? Do you think he met him on linkedln? Forget, men will treat you how you deserve to be treated. Don't forget Chimamanda already had her US permanent residency before she married her Nigerian-American husband. |

tunapawizzy: It's not about what you pay for one month rent, it's about what you earn and what u can afford. It's also not about you earning abroad and calculating your bills in naira. It's about the average people that earn in Nigeria and what that income can do for them in Nigeria Tell such a person to relocate fully back to Nigeria with no option of a second passport...he would reject it and call you an enemy of progress!😂😂😂 |

Dennisochampa: 1 month rent in the USA is some people's annual rent in nigeria...
Here in the UK for example.... U earn 2k a month... Rent is 1k per month Council tax is maybe 150 Energy another 150 U pay for insurance (if u drive) and pay for transportation If u don't Then you buy food U pay for your broadband U pay for your cell provider or your cell phone subscription U pay for credit cards U pay for phone contract U still get to buy some personal items... Now this is assuming you don't have a family
Ask yourself... Why do you think alot of people pay debts. Loans and credit cards until they die??
Yes people earn more in the USA but life is more expensive in that country than Nigeria... 10m can help u as a single man survive in nigeria for a year... Convert it to dollars.... It won't survive u for 6 months Less than 1% of Nigerian bank account owners have more than N500K in their accounts, where is the single man getting the N10m from? |

jamafa: 16.88 dollars is not 12k. 16.88 dollars in naira is 25k+.
A create of 🥚 in my area is 5200,5300. It's 25k in UK. That's 5* Haba! It is not 25k in the UK, not even up to 10K!

Nnamdipapa: Minimum wage here is $15 per hour and still that egg is not as fresh as what is consumed in Nigeria. I have a huge distrust for eggs that need to be refrigerated. I get from the general store, a crate of free run eggs here is around $8.50. Its the organic that is expensive.
That plantain is good, here it is around $1.20 per lb for a plantain and still not sweet like Nigerian plantain. Overwhelming majority of eggs sold in Nigeria are not organic, it seems you have no idea of the feed formulations, the antibiotics etc. |
Food › Re: What Is The Cost Of A Crate Of Egg In Your Area by Mindlog: 8:09am On Aug 22, 2025 |
Nnamdipapa: Ok, today I was out to do an oil change and decided to branch by my favorite Afghani store where I usually buy provisions when in the vicinity. Now, I came across an organic crate of egg for $12.99, 30 medium sized eggs in a crate. Now, I remembered I spoke with a friend in Lagos last week who priced a similar crate of egg at 6000Naira, Yes ! you heard me right! 6000Naira! Folks in Nigeria do not know how good they have it Living in Nigeria so next time you complain about Nigeria, remember a fresh organic crate of egg goes for N6000 and things are way cheaper in Nigeria compared to the western countries.
So, there is something that should make one happy living in Nigeria I am waiting on pins and needles for the minimum wage crew. For that crate of organic eggs going for $16.99, how much is the hourly minimum wage in that country? When it comes to food, Nigeria is not cheaper in comparison to income of the official minimum wage earner of N70K as majority earn below the N70K. The attached plantains, I bought here in London for £3.....the same £3, a minimum wage earner will earn under 20mins. The items in the second picture was bought for £9.20, less than what a minimum wage earner, earns in one hour (after deductions).

After 8 years as Governor, Ebonyi state still has the highest number of out of school children in the South East.
Human capital development is so low.....😡
Wasted billions on an airport with an exterior that looks more like a children's play centre instead of human capital development, skilling the youths who are naturally hard working with vocational trainings rather than them being street hawkers across Nigeria.
