Tell me you miraculously showed up at your university or polytechnic or college of education with a claim that your Primary and Secondary school records doesnt matter that they should allow you continue with your tertiary education since you can read and write. Tell me again why every country on earth have an educational system and also have university entrance or admission requirements you must meet before you can be offered an admission into the university?


That someone have managed to get away with criminality for so many years due to institutional corruption or whatever is not an excuse to overlook the crime when someone else raises an alarm, instead it should lead to prosecution of the criminal's past and a possible penalty, including jail term, refund of past remuneration and money earned using the forged certificates, thats if Nigeria was a working nation with working institutions that dont compromise.


Tinubu lied in his governorship form he used to contest for Lagos state Governor in 1999, he said he finished Secondary school at Government High School Ibadan, and unfortunately his lies got busted years later that the year he said he attended that school, that very school have not even been founded so it doesnt exist. After this lies was uncovered, Bola Tinubu now yanked off everything about his Primary and Secondary school from his academic records because he doesn't have any.


So that he managed to get away with the crime and became Lagos state Governor is not an excuse to exonerate his crime now that we know the truth. Tinubu is not supposed to be cleared to run for President in 2023 and in 2027, he doesn't have the required academic qualifications, he was using forged Certificates all these while.


Go to top companies in Nigeria, go to their HR departments and you will hear wonders, a lot of top managers, directors, etc got their employment with forged academic Certificates and when most companies discover, they fire them without delay, I know so many cases. There is even an organization in Nigeria now that help organizations and institutions to do this background check all the way to your remote village.

Nigerian varsity cracks down on lecturers who absconded after sponsored programmes

The management of the Federal University Dutse (FUD), Jigawa State, has published the names of members of staff who failed to return to duty after completing academic programmes sponsored by the institution.


The names were contained in a public notice signed by the university’s Registrar, Alhaji Abubakar Mijinyawa.

According to the notice, the affected staff breached the terms of bond agreements signed with the university by either resigning from service or failing to resume duty after completing their studies.

Those listed include Afolabi Lukman Olalekan of the Department of Chemistry, with a liability of N12.04 million; Muhammad A. Alhassan of the Department of Computer Science, who resigned and owes N14.56 million; Yakubu Sani Wudil of the Department of Physics, with a liability of N18.26 million; and Ramla Muhammad Kama of the Department of Pharmacology, who owes N16.34 million.

The university said the affected staff cut across several departments, including Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics, Soil Science, Pharmacology and Environmental Sciences.


FUD said measures taken against the defaulters include suspension of salaries, issuance of notices of indebtedness and referral of cases to the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee (SSDC).

The notice showed that the outstanding liabilities range from about N3.8 million to over N18 million, with some of the affected staff already making partial refunds.

For instance, Bala Ismail Adamu of the Department of Physics was reported to have refunded N988,195.94 out of a total liability of N12.9 million, while Abdulhamid Aliyu Ardo of Computer Science refunded N1 million out of N14.51 million owed to the institution.


The university reiterated that beneficiaries of its staff development sponsorship programmes are required to return and serve the institution in line with the terms of their bond agreements, warning that defaulters would face disciplinary action and recovery measures.

While on appeal, INEC reserves the right to remove the NDC particulars from its website as the new judgement aligns with its stand that NDC never met requirements for registration. It was the court that arm twisted INEC to accept NDC but that same court has now corrected itself. So unless the NDC can get a stay of execution at the appeal court, INEC should quickly delist that hopeless party from its setup.
