brother i was in the same dilemma 3years ago and it was the best decision i made. every one was against my decision to buy a 307 but i ignored them and today I have no single regret. i don't know about the automatic transmission cuz mine is a manual tranny. no major repairs same suspension and have not changed anything in the legs. i don't even know where they put gas in the ac cuz its still factory. av changed fan belt several times which was a result of faulty fan roller,have changed fuel pump, and also changed the catalyst. the fuel economy is mad av not used corolla before but something tells me it is equal or even has a better economy.the last time I traveled before the lock down i bought a full tank at wuse 2 and when I got to awka it was a little below half tank

For fuel economy and cheap parts na honda civic win am oh, but for more ruggedness corolla part are expensive though due to demand, camry if you prefer a larger ride

For me Corolla is clearly the most economical between the 2 rides. Camry is a more luxurious ride but comes with its wahala of timing belt that can cut 2 times in a year. Low hanging exhaust.

Can't say which is better, it depends on your budget, maintenance culture and the reason for buying... 03-05 Civil is good, it consumes least fuel among the above mentioned.

They are not the same. Civic is in class of Corolla; Accord is comparable with Camry, while CR-V could be compared with a 4-plug Highlander. However, CR-V shares same platform with Civic (Particularly from 07/08, no leg pulling) but they are not the same... not in size or fuel consumption, Civic is a compact car while CR-V is a crossover SUV.

So you think civic is better generally. What lower model I should avoid, because the main challenge is fund, I need 2002 to 2004, it's usually cheaper

my 2004 honda civic consumed 40 litres from lagos to ph, there are cars out there with better gas mileage than corolla.
