treesun: Barely two months to the end of the second term of the present administration, the presidency is convinced that like Jonathan, Nigerians will yearn for President Muhammadu Buhari when he leaves office.
In an interview with Channels Television, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on media and publicity, Mr Garba Shehu lamented over the level of criticisms thrown at the president, asserting that leaders are not loved while in office.
Citing the case of Goodluck Jonathan who he says was persecuted out of office, but has now become the favorite of many Nigerians, Mr Shehu was of the opinion that this same yearning will happen after Buhari has handed over to the next president.
As regards the cashless policy, Mr Shehu affirmed that the current cashless policy of the present administration is desirable and therefore irreversible.
According to him, “cashless is the way forward for Nigeria because cashless nations and in fact, all advanced nations of the world have gone cashless”.
Acknowledging the challenges that have accompanied the change, the president’s spokesman said it is sad that the only people who should have been more pained are the ones who are inflicting pains on the lower segment of the society.
realisticwise: This is coming late. Crying after the head is cut off. If they had done this earlier PDP might have won
No it Is not Late, it's just as it was planed. If Ayu was sacked before the elections, Atiku & not the party would have benefited from Ayu's sacked. The G5 never wanted Atiku to win since he insisted that Mr. Ayu should stay against the wishes of the G5. So they wanted the elections to come and go before they show Ayu the exit door, but Ayu not knowing what was coming for him, played into the G5 hands by suspending some party members including Governor Ortom
You guys should open ya eyes wide ooh! because some of the aspirants may be sponsored by Hope with a view to causing a crack in the ranks of LP to weaken it

This man is sure mad We didn't see his foolish petition to the DSS for treason against Elrufai, when Nasir Elrufai made a State broadcast asking Kaduna resident to ignore President Buhari's directives on the naira notes. Always afraid of his slave master. I dare keyamo to touch Messer Peter Obi
The Igbo's are terrible human beings. Thank God Obi didn't win, even though I was rooting for him at some point. It is the Igbos that spoiled this Country. A typical Igbo man and woman rejoice & feel happy when they cheat you in every little or big transaction you have with them. To them, whenever they cheat you, they called it smartness. If you like, let an Igbo person become deputy God, he or she will still cheats you in any business transaction. I wish the Government can allowed them to go with their Biafra. Proudly South South!
