Before unnecessarily blaming the police for carrying out their sting operation....

The question you people here should be asking is what is a serving corp member deployed to Jos Plateau State doing in Okpo Olamaboro local government area of Kogi State?

Corp member or not thief nah thief and they need to be cut down asap...!!!

Peace...!!!
our police are just unprofessional. There is nothing in the report that say they were first engaged by the "armed robbers" It is the duty of the police to observe the rules of engagement.
They just showed us someone they killed and claimed he is an armed robber...really?
Now the guy is death and those that can corraborate the story have escaped. We are now left wit the police story.
Knowing how extra-juducial and corrupt the NP is. I'm not buying it. I need more proof to be convinced

So far, everything about this story Smells like a concoted recipe from the NP kitchen of damage control

This is exactly why Saraki has not defected

He is trying to tightened all loose end to have to strong bargaining power.

Take or leave , Saraki will remain in Apc and possibly retain the Senate Presidency.

The exodus in Pdp is a time bomb

A smart politician like Saraki wont rush to jump ship.

A bird in hand ...

Reader530:
Wrong analysis of Kano to neutralize South East. I am from North. First, as at now, Kano state registered voters, including underaged voters is not up to Lagos registered voters as at today 25/07/2018. Buhari won in Kano 2011 because PDP candidate Goodluck is a Christian but don't forget in the same 2011, Kwankwaso won gubernatorial seat. Buhari won 2011in Kano because, it was Goodluck vs Buhari in 2011. To cut the long story short, in 2007, when Yar'adua contested with Buhari. Yar'adua had 24 million while Buhari had 6 million candidate. Most people that voted Buhari in the north in 2011 is because they have no option better than brother. To cut the long story short, people thought Buhari is perfect that's why he won or got reasonable votes in Christian states like: Benue, Ondo, Plateau, Taraba, etc. In 2019, it will nearly look like 2007 election. Remember Yar'adua Vs Buhari. Buhari had only one-quarter vote of Yar'adua. 6 million Vs 24 million. Buhari lost to Yar'adua in 2007. Many people regretted voting Buhari. Mr. OP, don't give 100% hope that Buhari will win 2019 election. Thanks all for reading this long episode.
What's with all these "Chistian States " Do you think ppl in the west vote along ethnic and religion line?

I know Monsurat can't defect to PDP

She owes her political relevance to ACN

Monsurat can't go against Tinubu/Ajimobi's wishes
That's what she's actually doing now

Tinubu had tried to settle the issue but most of the politicians in Oyo all want the same things without shifting ground.

The manner Oyegun handled the last party executive election is the cause of most of the deductions.

So what's Kwankaso feeling like?

I do not feel sorry for Buhari,he felt power drunk n shut himself in d foot. He should not have closed d door on d major players that brought him into power,it's was too late when he brought Tinubu back into d game. Moreover, he became very soft when he came back from his long medical trip. It's too bad he didn't see coming, Saraki worked against him all this while. I only hope Nigerians don't start seeing Sariki as a an alternative, cus we all knw Saraki is d greatest Evil in dis country right now.
Rather, feel sorry for those senators cos they ain't coming back in 2019. They know it hence their desperation

Which primary election will be more transparent than that?
Sen. Adeleke won him with just 7 votes o.

He should quickly defect to APC and stop this noise. Some sources are even saying he is been sponsored by APC to cause wahala.
The close margin calls for the recount which Dickson declined.

After recounting Ogunbiyi's votes it's only reasonable to recount Adeleke's
PoliticsOsun PDP: I’ll Reclaim My Ticket From Adeleke, Says Ogunbiyi by Minjim(op): 7:53am On Jul 23, 2018
The Chairman of Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi, has rejected the result of the Osun State Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship primary election held on Saturday.

Ogunbiyi, who rejected the outcome of the exercise at a press conference he addressed at Ileogbo, his hometown on Sunday, vowed to use the internal mechanism of the party to reclaim the “stolen mandate” from Senator Ademola Adeleke, who was announced as the eventual winner of the contest.

Adeleke, who is the Senator representing the Osun West Senatorial District, won the primary election by polling 1,569 while Ogunbiyi came second with 1,562.

The Electoral Panel headed by Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State had announced that Ogunbiyi scored 1,559 votes but his agents ( Ogunbiyi) insisted that the ballot must be recounted.

He claimed that accreditation, voting, sorting and counting were manipulated to favour Adeleke, saying he scored more than the number of votes credited to him by the panel.

Some of the agents of Ogunbiyi had required for the ballot to be recounted and after the recount, his votes increased to 1562. Some of his supporters were still not satisfied and they demanded that the votes of the winner should also be recounted but this was not done.

Ogunbiyi said, “I assure you all that the mandate which was freely given to me by majority of the delegates will be reclaimed by the special grace of God.

“The outcome of that primary has been a subject of concern to a great majority of our party members who have been disappointed, disillusioned and confused by the conduct of the exercise and the results as declared by the panel led by His Excellency, Governor Seriake Dickson.

“Some of the major issues which compromised the integrity of the exercise and made the results clearly unacceptable include the non-adherence to the clear provisions of the Electoral Guidelines and unfortunate manipulation of the accreditation, voting, sorting and counting of the votes cast by delegates at the primaries.

“Consequent upon these infractions, therefore, the votes attributed to me at the end of the voting exercise were much lower than what I actually scored as valid votes.
