5 They maintain enough self control to overcome their egos and emotions. 

6 Successful traders track their results and learn lessons from both past mistakes and successes. What you measure you can improve. 

7 Profitable traders are humble and seek profits as their goal not trying to prove they are right or show off predictions. 

8 Traders that make money have the edge of patience, they are patient to wait for their set up, they are patient with letting their winning trades run, and the only thing they don’t have patience with is losing trades as they cut them when proven wrong. 

9 The best traders have no issue in taking their trading signals. They have faith in their strategy and faith in their self to follow their trading plan. 

10 They have big wins, small wins, small losses, and break even trades but have eliminated big trading losses from their process through proper position sizing and trade management. 

11 Successful traders tune out the outside noise of news and talking heads and focus on their own signals.

Most people are terrified to make a trading plan.

Once you commit to a plan, YOU are responsible for the results. As humans, we prefer to avoid taking responsibility when things don’t go our way. 

But when you have a plan that tells you what you can and cannot do, you have no choice but to take responsibility.

In this process, your ego will get bruised and you’ll have no one to blame but yourself.  

This is required for growth.

A plan is ESSENTIAL to boosting your P&L long term.

Having a plan will allow you to move forward systematically.  

You’ll be able to notice what is working and do more of it. You’ll also notice what isn’t working and eliminate it from your trading.

How to put yourself in a position to respect your rules.

So what can we do in order to bypass our natural tendency to loss aversion and put ourselves in a position to make money?
Here are several strategies that can help you cut losses short & let winners run:

1- Have a clear trading strategy and plan every single trade
“I know where I’m getting out before I get in” – Bruce Kovner
As soon as you have a well-defined strategy, you’ll be able to know where you’re going to sell before entering a trade. You’ll know your stop loss level, and then if the position starts being profitable, you’ll know exactly when and where you’ll move your stop (using, for instance, volatility stop, moving average cross, …).
If you don’t know where to sell prior to entering a trade, do NOT enter the trade. Period.

2- Be rational
When in a losing position, we’ll often rationalize that we still haven’t taken the loss as long as we haven’t sold, while hoping the stock will come back to our breakeven point – even though it sometimes never does.
Well, here is the reality: you ALREADY have the loss. Whether you call that a “paper” loss or a losing position, the loss is very real. If you needed the money right away, you wouldn’t be able sell the stock for the price you paid for.
Also in this type of situations, you start being married “til death do us part” to your position. But there are undoubtedly other better trades that will come along the way.
While what’s left of your money is stuck in that losing position, you could be missing on a huge winner that would have not only helped you recoup the money you lost but also made you a profit.
So staying in a losing position is a bit like getting a surgery from a surgeon who killed his last patient. In the same way as you would get a better surgeon, get rid of your losing position and wait for a better one.

3- Stop looking at your position all day long
The daily fluctuations can drive you absolutely crazy and will tempt you to deviate from your plan.

“Once in a position, just stop looking at it and do something else until a real sell signal (as per your own rules) occurs”.

Enter your stop loss in the system or setup an alert, and go enjoy life.

4- Stop looking at your P&L
If you really have to watch your positions from time to time, you should not watch the profit & loss amount or percentage.
You should watch the chart instead. Seeing dollar figures or percentage figures will accentuate your proneness to loss aversion.
Do NOT watch your P&L but watch only the chart instead. Just place your stop loss level on the chart, and when it’s hit, just sell accordingly.

A justified WIN is when you create a very detailed trading plan and follow the plan, A win that results from following trading plan is justified and reinforces DISCIPLINE.

STEP 1: GET A UBA NAIRA OR DOLLAR PREPAID CARD

Get to any uba bank around you and as them for a naira or dollar prepaid card, you don’t need to open an account with them for this

STEP 2: ACTIVATE YOUR UBA NAIRA OR DOLLAR PREPAID CARD

Activate your uba prepaid card is a very simple process just as you would activate any normal ATM card. If you are confused simply ask the bank officials to clarify the process when you go to the back to receive the card.

STEP 3: LINK YOUR UBA NAIRA OR DOLLAR PREPAID CARD

Enter your card details in your PayPal account to link your Uba Card. make sure the is a minimum of 1000 Naira in your card, PayPal will deduct a little amount from the card and later pay it back to verify your account. Then enter a PayPal code you will receive in your statement or SMS to complete the verification of your account. A 4 digit pin will be attached to the email or sms uba will send to you to alert you. It is these 4 digits you'll submit to PayPal.

STEP 4: WITHDRAW YOUR PAYPAL FUND TO YOUR NAIRA OR DOLLAR PREPAID CARD
If you are using the normal Nigerian PayPal account, you would still not be able to make withdrawal but I know how to open an international PayPal that would enable you to make the withdrawal. If you're using the international PayPal, you'd simply click on withdraw, then select the uba card we've linked and that's all. It's all instant. You can take that uba card to the ATM to make withdrawal.

I know how frustrating it can be when you have funds in your PayPal account but don’t know how to withdraw PayPal money to Nigeria’s bank account.

Coming from someone who’s totally making money online in Nigeria, I know how frustrating it can be not to be able to this.

Years back, I had to pay over N400,000 to my cousin in the US as a tax payment for using his PayPal to receive my payment online.

PayPal is basically the backbone of every online business because it’s the most preferred method.

Using virtual cards is still a third party. This is because you’ll still need to move the money from your virtual account to your Nigeria account.

And for you to do this, it’s going to be on their terms and their own exchange rate. Because it’s their business and they are in to make money too.

But how would you feel being able to withdraw your PayPal money to your Nigeria bank account and you receive your alert immediately in naira.

I’m not talking about domiciliary accounts here AKA (Dollar accounts). Because using this account will only give you the privilege to cash out in dollars.

Which means you’ll still need to exchange the dollar cash for naira. But with this method, you’ll cash out in Naira instantly.

1. Start a dropshipping business without the barrier of payment
2. The same thing goes for affiliate marketing
3. Fiverr
4. Making money on social media
5. Render your service online and get paid instantly
6. You could also use it as a payment gateway instead of Paystack for USD payments

I know there are various means on how to create a PayPal account that receives funds in Nigeria. However, you should know some certain things beforehand that might cost you in the long run.

I’ll list them below:

Your PayPal account will be re-verify once you hit a certain milestone of sending payment out
So make sure your names on your PayPal account is the same as the one on your Nigeria bank statement of account
The same thing goes for the address.
Your new account may go under review if a huge amount of money enters when it’s still fresh.
Don’t play smart with PayPal you could lose your money.
Once everything is checked you can enjoy doing business with PayPal.

I shared an image below when I was notified to confirm my identity by PayPal after I reached a certain milestone of sending out payment.


I did my PayPal identity confirmation by sending my Nigeria address, Passport, Statement of account and my Nigeria phone number, I didn’t lie about my address or identity and my account was re-verify and the milestone was lifted.

If you, however, used a different country location as your address and fake number I don’t know how you’re going to verify your account.

Let’s just hope that won’t happen. But if you keep using your PayPal for transactions, that is, sending and receiving payment, you’re just to hit the milestone.

There’s a particular milestone for a certain amount of transaction, once you hit it you’re going to need to verify your identity.

BREAKING!! Brazilian Striker Coutinho Dies




Former Brazil and Santos striker Coutinho died on Monday at the age of 75.

Born Antonio Wilson Vieira Honorio on June 11, 1943, the striker went on to become a legend with Santos, where he made 457 total appearances while scoring 370 goals for the Brazilian club.

Coutinho remains the third highest scorer in Santos history, with 368 goals in 457 matches, behind only Pele and Pepe in the club’s history.

He was a member of the historic Santos squad that dominated world football at the time with Coutinho, Pele, Pepe and Dorval leading the squad.

During his time with the club, Coutinho was a two-time Copa Libertadores champion while winning two Intercontinental Cups and six Campeonato Paulista titles.

The forward was also a member of Brazil’s 1962 World Cup-winning squad, but was sidelined by injury just before the tournament.

Coutinho did not appear, although he remained in the squad as Brazil went on to top Czechoslovakia to win the title.

The former striker was hospitalized in January with pneumonia, but eventually left the hospital. Cause of death has yet to be confirmed.

His funeral will take place at Vila Belmiro at a time to be confirmed at a later date.

You can always learn python easily in the future once you know JS. Python is just beginner friendly in my opinion.

Forget the time frame and put in as much hours as you can. If you're completely new to programming you probably can't learn JS in a month.
But if you've mastered another language, you can easily.

From my previous experience, you don't have to finish the test in 4 hours. You can complete it in days even. You can do it module after module if you like or blitz through it.

The Nigerian Senate has approved the virement of funds for Special Intervention (Recurrent & Capital) for funding of Critical Recurrent & Capital Items. The Senate, on Tuesday, November 29, approved the extra funds which President Muhammadu Buhari had recently requested for as an addition to the 2016 budget. Senate President Bukola Saraki commended members of the Appropriations Committee led Senator Danjuma Goje for a job well done putting the request into proper shape. Senate approves Buhari’s Virement of funds He added that the approval will ensure capital project funding especially of local contractors and also allow for an efficient and appropriate implementation of the 2016 budget, to spend N813b in 2017 Recall that President Buhari had written the National Assembly on October 26, seeking for the approval of the legislature to vire N180.8 billion from the funds appropriated for special intervention in the 2016 budget. The intervention, the presidency said, is to fund critical recurrent and capital items. The House of Representatives, while deliberating on the request, increased the virement by N28billion from N180billion to N208billlion. “The committee observes that there are other areas of critical needs with potential for development and stimulating the economy and for which additional funds could be provided through virement from the Special Intervention Programme,” the Reps said. With the Senate’s approval, President Buhari now has an additional N208billion to spend on capital projects before the end of the year. Meanwhile, the Senate has explained why it reversed its confirmation of the special assistant to the president on prosecution as a member of the governing board of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). Okoi Obono-Obla, who is the special assistant to the president on prosecution, attached to the Federal Ministry of Justice was rejected by the Senate after the nominee had earlier been confirmed by the upper chamber.

What are signs and symptoms?

Signs and symptoms are both signals of injury, illness, disease – signals that something is not right in the body.

A sign is a signal that can be seen by someone else – maybe a loved one, or a doctor, nurse, or other health care professional. For example, fever, fast breathing, and abnormal lung sounds heard through a stethoscope may be signs of pneumonia.

A symptom is a signal that’s felt or noticed by the person who has it, but may not be easily seen by anyone else. For example, weakness, aching, and feeling short of breath may be symptoms of pneumonia.

Having one sign or symptom may not be enough to figure out what’s causing it. For example, a rash in a child could be a sign of a number of things, such as poison ivy, measles, a skin infection, or a food allergy. But if the child has the rash along with other signs and symptoms like a high fever, chills, achiness, and a sore throat, then a doctor can get a better picture of the illness. Sometimes, a patient’s signs and symptoms still don’t give the doctor enough clues to be sure what’s causing the illness. Then medical tests, such as x-rays, blood tests, or a biopsy may be needed.
How does cancer cause signs and symptoms?

Cancer is a group of diseases that can cause almost any sign or symptom. The signs and symptoms will depend on where the cancer is, how big it is, and how much it affects the organs or tissues. If a cancer has spread (metastasized), signs or symptoms may appear in different parts of the body.

As a cancer grows, it can begin to push on nearby organs, blood vessels, and nerves. This pressure causes some of the signs and symptoms of cancer. If the cancer is in a critical area, such as certain parts of the brain, even the smallest tumor can cause symptoms.

But sometimes cancer starts in places where it won’t cause any signs or symptoms until it has grown quite large. Cancers of the pancreas, for example, usually don’t cause symptoms until they grow large enough to press on nearby nerves or organs (this causes back or belly pain). Others may grow around the bile duct and block the flow of bile. This causes the eyes and skin to look yellow (jaundice). By the time a pancreatic cancer causes signs or symptoms like these, it’s usually in an advanced stage. This means it has grown and spread beyond the place it started – the pancreas.

A cancer may also cause symptoms like fever, extreme tiredness (fatigue), or weight loss. This may be because cancer cells use up much of the body’s energy supply, or they may release substances that change the way the body makes energy from food. Cancer can also cause the immune system to react in ways that produce these signs and symptoms.

Sometimes, cancer cells release substances into the bloodstream that cause symptoms that are not usually linked to cancer. For example, some cancers of the pancreas can release substances that cause blood clots in veins of the legs. Some lung cancers make hormone-like substances that raise blood calcium levels. This affects nerves and muscles, making the person feel weak and dizzy.
How are signs and symptoms helpful?

Treatment works best when cancer is found early – while it’s still small and is less likely to have spread to other parts of the body. This often means a better chance for a cure, especially if the cancer can be removed with surgery.

A good example of the importance of finding cancer early is melanoma skin cancer. It can be easy to remove if it has not grown deep into the skin. The 5-year survival rate (percentage of people who live at least 5 years after diagnosis) at this early stage is around 98%. Once melanoma has spread to other parts of the body, the 5-year survival rate drops to about 16%.

Sometimes people ignore symptoms. Maybe they don’t know that the symptoms could mean something is wrong. Or they might be frightened by what the symptoms could mean and don’t want to get medical help. Maybe they just can’t afford to get medical care.

Some symptoms, such as tiredness or coughing, are more likely caused by something other than cancer. Symptoms can seem unimportant, especially if there’s a clear cause or the problem only lasts a short time. In the same way, a person may reason that a symptom like a breast lump is probably a cyst that will go away by itself. But no symptom should be ignored or overlooked, especially if it has lasted a long time or is getting worse.

Most likely, symptoms are not caused by cancer, but it’s important to have them checked out, just in case. If cancer is not the cause, a doctor can help figure out what the cause is and treat it, if needed.

Sometimes, it’s possible to find cancer before having symptoms. The American Cancer Society and other health groups recommend cancer-related check-ups and certain tests for people even though they have no symptoms. This helps find certain cancers early, before symptoms start. But keep in mind, even if you have these recommended tests, it’s still important to see a doctor if you have any symptoms.
What are some general signs and symptoms of cancer?

You should know some of the general signs and symptoms of cancer. But remember, having any of these does not mean that you have cancer – many other things cause these signs and symptoms, too. If you have any of these symptoms and they last for a long time or get worse, please see a doctor to find out what’s going on.
Unexplained weight loss

Most people with cancer will lose weight at some point. When you lose weight for no known reason, it’s called an unexplained weight loss. An unexplained weight loss of 10 pounds or more may be the first sign of cancer. This happens most often with cancers of the pancreas, stomach, esophagus (swallowing tube), or lung.
Fever

Fever is very common with cancer, but it more often happens after cancer has spread from where it started. Almost all people with cancer will have fever at some time, especially if the cancer or its treatment affects the immune system. (This can make it harder for the body to fight infection.) Less often, fever may be an early sign of cancer, such as blood cancers like leukemia or lymphoma.
Fatigue

Fatigue is extreme tiredness that doesn’t get better with rest. It may be an important symptom as cancer grows. But it may happen early in some cancers, like leukemia. Some colon or stomach cancers can cause blood loss that’s not obvious. This is another way cancer can cause fatigue.
Pain

Pain may be an early symptom with some cancers like bone cancers or testicular cancer. A headache that does not go away or get better with treatment may be a symptom of a brain tumor. Back pain can be a symptom of cancer of the colon, rectum, or ovary. Most often, pain due to cancer means it has already spread (metastasized) from where it started.
Skin changes

Along with skin cancers, some other cancers can cause skin changes that can be seen. These signs and symptoms include:

Darker looking skin (hyperpigmentation)
Yellowish skin and eyes (jaundice)
Reddened skin (erythema)
Itching (pruritis)
Excessive hair growth

Signs and symptoms of certain cancers

Along with the general symptoms, you should watch for certain other common signs and symptoms that could suggest cancer. Again, there may be other causes for each of these, but it’s important to see a doctor about them as soon as possible – especially if there’s no other cause you can identify, the problem lasts a long time, or it gets worse over time.
Change in bowel habits or bladder function

Long-term constipation, diarrhea, or a change in the size of the stool may be a sign of colon cancer. Pain when passing urine, blood in the urine, or a change in bladder function (such as needing to pass urine more or less often than usual) could be related to bladder or prostate cancer. Report any changes in bladder or bowel function to a doctor.
Sores that do not heal

Skin cancers may bleed and look like sores that don’t heal. A long-lasting sore in the mouth could be an oral cancer. This should be dealt with right away, especially in people who smoke, chew tobacco, or often drink alcohol. Sores on the penis or vagina may either be signs of infection or an early cancer, and should be seen by a health professional.
White patches inside the mouth or white spots on the tongue

White patches inside the mouth and white spots on the tongue may be leukoplakia. Leukoplakia is a pre-cancerous area that’s caused by frequent irritation. It’s often caused by smoking or other tobacco use. People who smoke pipes or use oral or spit tobacco are at high risk for leukoplakia. If it’s not treated, leukoplakia can become mouth cancer. Any long-lasting mouth changes should be checked by a doctor or dentist right away.
Unusual bleeding or discharge

Unusual bleeding can happen in early or advanced cancer. Coughing up blood may be a sign of lung cancer. Blood in the stool (which can look like very dark or black stool) could be a sign of colon or rectal cancer. Cancer of the cervix or the endometrium (lining of the uterus) can cause abnormal vaginal bleeding. Blood in the urine may be a sign of bladder or kidney cancer. A bloody discharge from the nipple may be a sign of breast cancer.
Thickening or lump in the breast or other parts of the body

Many cancers can be felt through the skin. These cancers occur mostly in the breast, testicle, lymph nodes (glands), and the soft tissues of the body. A lump or thickening may be an early or late sign of cancer and should be reported to a doctor, especially if you’ve just found it or notice it has grown in size. Keep in mind that some breast cancers show up as red or thickened skin rather than a lump.
Indigestion or trouble swallowing

Indigestion or swallowing problems that don’t go away may be signs of cancer of the esophagus (the swallowing tube that goes to the stomach), stomach, or pharynx (throat). But like most symptoms on this list, they are most often caused by something other than cancer.
Recent change in a wart or mole or any new skin change

Any wart, mole, or freckle that changes color, size, or shape, or that loses its sharp border should be seen by a doctor right away. Any other skin changes should be reported, too. Nagging cough or hoarseness

A cough that does not go away may be a sign of lung cancer. Hoarseness can be a sign of cancer of the larynx (voice box) or thyroid gland.
Other symptoms

The signs and symptoms listed above are the more common ones seen with cancer, but there are many others that are not listed here. If you notice any major changes in the way your body works or the way you feel – especially if it lasts for a long time or gets worse – let a doctor know. If it has nothing to do with cancer, the doctor can find out more about what’s going on and, if needed, treat it. If it is cancer, you’ll give yourself the chance to have it treated early, when treatment works best.
