You're sounding more confused by digressing from your initial point, but I will serve you the exact ways you want it. Now people like me are against and will continue to be against any African country receiving aids, grants or loans from the west, Africa is blessed so much that we have what we need to be better than the west but because of the greediness of African leaders, Africa will continue to take the back seat in terms of development. The west are aware of this bad leaders in Africa hence, the reason why they will throw carrots at you Africans in the name of useless grants or loans that will be eventually looted by your leaders and steal your valuable resources to develop their country and someone like you are happy that the west is stealing your resources, chaaaiiii.....wake up broh. So when few African citizens rivolt against such bad leaders then people like you will be calling on the west to come to your aids. For how long do you want to serve your slave masters? For how long do you want to rely on the west to keep helping you when you have everything to help yourself? Think very well and reason like a mature mind. 1stGenAmerican: You provided wrong information about the coup and leadership and I corrected you—simple. Your question is very confusing, especially since the majority of you guys say that the West should stop meddling in the affairs of African countries but aid is welcomed and when crisis occurs, I guess help is welcomed? Are you saying that the West should meddle? Can’t have it both ways. Furthermore, Burkina Faso was never colonized by my country. Let me ask you—what, if anything, did neighboring African countries do since you are under the impression that a country thousands of miles away across an ocean should’ve intervened? |

did your super power countries make any attempt to rescue the country from the military and restore democracy through military actions?or have they forgotten that they posses chemical and biological weapons to restore democracy in burkina faso? please dont deviate from the argument you raised initially, the fact remains that we arent talking about the number years or how many military coups that have taken place in that country. 1stGenAmerican: Wrong. You're completely wrong, please research and learn facts before presenting your argument if you want to be taken seriously. It hasn't been two years—in fact, he hasn’t even been in power ONE year, it’s been only a few MONTHS. Burkina Faso has had two coups in less than one year. The current leader is a result of a second coup in Burkina Faso—the first military government that overthrew the democratic government was overthrown. And since that 32 years old military leader has taken over, Burkina Faso’s productivity has tanked and their inflation is now in the double digits. The country is worse since the military took over, same as Mail. |

Why can't your colonizers fight against the military government in mali and Burkina Faso after taking over the government? Or are they afraid of them? If you're student of history Hiroshima incident should be fresh in your memory and that's one mistake the Americans will not want to make again. flokii: You can't think outside the box.. that's one big problem with most of you.
What if the erstwhile colonizers they are fighting decide to unleash something terrible on them there?.. can Niger fight back? Do they have anything in Niger republic to fight biological warfare??
Use your number six ok? It won't hurt. |

Bros you're blessed with divine wisdom. ThatCEO: Talk dey sweet sha.
Let us agree on one thing. The current sufferings of Nigeria is not because of forex exchange but because of fuel hike.
So, if a person creates a fuel/energy crisis, the first thing I expect is for him to tackle that same crisis. Anything other than this makes d entire speech a hogwash.
Baba said he will dish out billions to businesses, release grains n fertilisers, but Baba made zero mention of how to deal with this fuel hike. D only thing he mentioned was about 3k CNG buses, but if I am able to access loan to buy a CNG bus, won't I be a compound fool if I don't charge my persengers like a normal fuel bus?
Is it that across all d appointees, there is no one with enough brain cells to tell him that "look, Baba, if we can't give these people a single refinery, n we can't subsidize fuel, but we hv d 12th largest gas reserve in the world, n those gases requires almost zero refining, why don't we shift these people to gas?"
I don't want subsidy back, but why has Baba not come out to tackle the fuel issue right at its source? Why are they running from CNG or even modular refinery?
Who are the people that own shares in Dangote refinery and why are they hell bent on forcing fuel on all of us, even tho we have gas. And exactly how many of those Dangote shareholders r currently in government?
I did the findings on CNG at Nipco. ₦4000 of CNG will power your 4 cylinder car for 150-160km. A 6 cylinder conversation costs almost 500k. If they place CNG conversion kit on list of items not liable to customs fees, the price will drop by up to 60% especially in places like Lagos. From here, they can now say, Oya go n convert your car at half the price, we will pay d other half.
But over their dead body will they make policies that will directly benefit us because their stinking fingers are all over the oil money of this country n they will do everything to ensure we all buy oil.
Nigeria does not have a fuel crisis issue, what we have are just leaders who will rather feast on our blood than make our lives easy cos their hands are deep in our common wealth.
Say whatever you like about Buhari, but Buhari had tasted some degree of poverty in his life at some point, n even tho he later lived in luxury as a president he still remembered that life is tough on the other side n didn't bring this sort of hardship on us at one fell swoop. These people have never spent their money on fuel since they started their political career n their convoy didn't reduce with fuel hike, u REALLY think they know what the price of fuel is? What we have now na, "may God help us." |

Yet this failure umahi will be part of this evil administration of apc PortHarcourt1st: It is becoming glaringly clear that Umahi borrowed and wasted billions of naira on an airport that all analysts proved wasn’t going to be viable. Today it is now clear to everyone that umahi wasted borrowed billions on ego trip project when most ebonyi people are poor, uneducated and hawking almost everywhere in Nigeria.
Poverty rate in ebonyi is over 80%. when the idea of the airport was first muted, some analysts advised that umahi should use the said funds for the project and invest heavily in human resource development and education, but he shoved it aside, today no Nigerian airline want to fly to ebonyi simply because it is a very unviable route for airlines.
What do you suggest for the present administration in ebonyi state as regards to the abandoned airport? |
