The name Maymuna Suleyman might not surely ring a bell but the name Deejay Brooke Bailey who was born and raised in Belgium to a Belgian mother and Ghanaian father have become an household name in the Africa's entertainment industry. At a tender age she already discovered her love for music, she played the violin, sang and even pursued an acting career. Sowore Storms North East Nigeria with Message of Peace and Security[b][/b]



Over the weekend, Omoyele Sowore, convener of the Take It Back movement visited North Eastern states as part of his nationwide Town Hall sessions.

He was received by enthusiastic supporters, who have taken to calling him “Sai Bobo,” in recognition of his boundless energy and youthful vigour.

Sowore brought a message of peace and security to this beleaguered part of Nigeria that has been battered by the Boko Haram crisis.

He declared that the first duty of any government was to create a country that is safe for all. He reminded audiences across the North East that he had served in the region as a Youth Corper in 1996.

He also toured IDP camps where he pledged to the gathered internally displaced persons, who are refugees in their own country, that the first priority of his government would be to get them back to their homes and loved ones. He pledged that the government he would lead would help them rebuild their homes if they have been destroyed. He also pledged that those who had farms would be aided with small loans for fertilizer and seed materials, to get them back on their feet.

Sowore noted that regardless of our religion and creed, we are all one united people. He observed that while the political class has used religion, hunger and ethnicity to divide us, over there [in Abuja], they have no religion. Their only religion is GREED. He noted that “even the flat-stomached ones amongst them send their children to school abroad, while your own children may never see the inside of a school because of the Boko Haram crisis.”

He pledged that his government would work to SECURE the North East, and that education would be prioritised through increased resources and security.

He reminded the audience that during election season, these Abuja politicians who had done nothing to address their concerns would come calling with bribes of food and money, and after getting what they want, no one would hear from them for the next four years. He declared that he had come to them with nothing but a sacred pledge that within a year of his being in office, they would be on their way back to their homes.

Sowore told audiences across the town halls and IDP camps that they had the power to change things by using their PVCs to vote for men and women of integrity and courage.

Items Taken From Former Korle Bu CEO’s Office Were His Personal Belongings – Korle Bu PRO[b][/b]

At last, it has emerged that the items that were taken out of the office of the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH), Dr. Felix Kwaku Anyah were actually his personal belongings.

The Public Relations Officer of the hospital, Mustapha Salifu who confirmed this to MyNewsGH.com disclosed that on assumption of office as CEO, Dr Anyah, in order to create a unique brand for his office requested the hospital management to send the items in the CEO’s office and the Board Room to the store to enable him bring his personal items for his brand management.

“When his appointment was revoked, he removed those items in order to create the room for what was originally there to be brought back. The initially removed items are still available,” he said.

Mr. Mustapha Salifu also denied claims that items that were personally donated by the former CEO have all been taken back, indicating that there is no truth in the claims.

An adomonline.com report on Monday June 18, 2018 indicated that the former CEO had ransacked his office by taking away office furniture, fridge, TV and flowers for the conference room.

Mustapha Salifu however indicated that among the items Dr. Felix Anyah donated to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital were the Food Van, Motorbikes, Air Conditioners, Flat Screen Television sets, 7.5 HP Water Pumps, Mattresses and Stocks of Anaesthetic drugs among others which remain the property of the premier hospital and must make mention of the fact that his personal items including two brand new Hyndai vehicles had not been donated to the hospital as has been claimed by Adom FM on the 18th June 2018.

The Public Relations Officer explained that the two brand new Hyundai cars that Dr. Anyah purchased and registered KBTH-1-18, KBTH-2-18, were to be donated to the hospital through the Board if it buys into his vision to make KBTH a Medical Tourism Hub, but until his departure, there was no board.

Dr. Anyah, who is the owner of Holy Trinity Medical Centre/Holy Trinity Spa & Health Farm was appointed in June 1, 2017 to June 10, 2018.

It has further been established and corroborated by the head of PR of the hospital that Dr. Felix Anyah never took any salary, allowances, lived in his personal accommodation, used his own vehicles, and paid his driver.

His donations to the hospital rather continue to enhance service delivery.

As global attention is riveted on the unfolding spectacle of the 21st edition of the FIFA World Cup in Russia today, there are interesting parallels to draw with a goal-getting Nigerian, whose illustrious life trajectory clocks 55 years on this same day. Much like the world-acclaimed beautiful game, which few observers gave a chance to survive, talk less of exploding when it began back in England in 1863, Lagos State Governor Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode was the little known aspirant when political pundits began to permutate on the likely successor to erstwhile Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola then in 2014.

But the leadership narrative has since changed, as Lagos state has become a reference point to Nigerians, nay Africans within the political power context. In a similar compelling, centripetal attraction that soccer enjoys amongst people of diverse races and religion, social strata and even political persuasion, the question on virtually everyone’s lip is what magic wand has Ambode waved to turn Lagos into an emerging smart city? That is, within a short span of three years in the saddle of the world’s fastest growing city and Africa’s fifth largest economy. The questions persist.

However, to be on the good side of history and more significantly to become better by the day, let us attempt answers from Ambode’s life experiences. Especially, those that have stood him in good stead. Just like football, with its thrills and frills and its team- game format there are rules to obey. We can only win life’s daily matches if we, like Ambode have the focus, the desire, the determination to excel no matter who would tackle us when we eventually have the ball.

For instance, the early death of his father was one of such challenges. However, instead of capitulating, he took it as a stepping stone to climb to greater heights by sacrificing his time and talents to concentrate on his studies. That he emerged the second-best student in the West African Examination Council(WAEC) O\L examinations at the end of his secondary school days is a testament to such iron-will determination to succeed against the odds, as John Harold Johnson(now late) of Ebony Magazine fame once admonished.

Secondly, Ambode was one young man who was written off by his uncle, at the age of 11 years, especially when he expressed his desire to becoming an accountant. The older man thought he did not possess the DNA to ever qualify as one. But the story has since changed its tempo and tenor. By 2015 when Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode became the APC flag-bearer of the state, he had already metamorphosed into a thoroughbred, tested and trusted technocrat. He was the former Accountant –General, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Finance and Auditor-General who has traversed several of the local government councils in the state.

Another salient, vital feature of successful leadership, as exemplified by Ambode is to be fully prepared for the onerous tasks at hand. Based on his wealth of experience he knew the needs and nuances of the state like the lines on his palms. So, he hit the ground running.

Little wonder that within six months in office his forward-looking administration, achieved all these and more. Specifically, in the health sector, the governor commissioned 20 Mobile Intensive Care Units (MICU) and 26 Transport Ambulances one for each of the 26 General hospitals. He ensured that ambulances were bought for all the public hospitals in the state, paid the aggrieved medical doctors their outstanding salaries and the long-suffering pensioners.



Similarly, Ambode approved the recruitment of more paramedic staff and special medical coordinators to guarantee 24 hours service. Besides, he upgraded the General Hospitals and constructed a Medical Park fully equipped with quality drugs and new mobile X-Ray machines. He similarly lent helping hand to victims of disasters including motor-accidents, fire outbreaks as well as mudslide in addition to diffusing governance to those at the lower rung of the Lagos society.

Making a wise choice, he began by beefing up security across the state. This he did by acquiring 10 armoured tanks, three helicopters for aerial surveillance and policing, two gun boats, 15 armoured personnel carriers and dozens of Isuzu trucks. Still on security, he initiated the Light Up Lagos Project covering at least 365 streets across the state.

On the massive infrastructural development, Ambode has turned Lagos into a vast construction site, as people are currently awed by the 10-lane Airport Road and the Oshodi Interchange edifice. Indeed, Lagos now boasts of state-of-the art flyover bridges at Ajah and Abule-Egba with that of the popular Pen-Cinema in the works.

Also, in less than one year in office some 282 inner roads received massive rehabilitation, as requested by the people during his tour of the LCDAs before his election. In fact, his ‘114 Roads’ project where each of the 57 local councils in the state got two good roads was completed by May, 2016.

Economic empowerment was next. It received a boost in December of that year as he began the disbursement of the N25 billion Employment Trust Fund,(ETF) to carpenters, tailors, hairdressers, vulcanizers and other players in the informal sector in the state. The initiative will see the disbursement of N6.25 billion annually over the next four years. It was also one of the promises he made during his campaign in 2015.

The food security issue was kick started with the launch of the Lagos-Kebbi (LaKe Rice) in December 2016. It came at the right time as thousands of residents trooped out to various centres across the three senatorial districts to buy the commodity which sold for N12,000 (50kg bag); N6,000 (25kg); and N2,500 (10kg). It was a much needed respite for a population that had been reeling under the impact of economic recession. The smiles widen as Lagos is getting ready to commission one of Africa’s largest rice mills months from now.

Barely over two years in office the state had raked in N287 billion in IGR, a whopping N19 billion more than was generated the year before. A revamp of the state’s revenue generation agency played a major role in this feat, but Mr. Ambode also gave credit to tax-paying citizens in the state.

It is a similar swan song from education through agriculture, to transportation and tourism. One great lesson for millions to learn from the governor’s success story therefore, is for one to be blessed with a strong God-fearing family. Both he and Bolanle, his woman of virtue have their lives firmly rooted in God. She is there as a pillar of support and as one who has stood by him through thick and thin. Besides, is their humility and tracing every success to the throne of God.

Said he, at a recent Sunday Service to mark his three years in office: “No matter how much strategy that you have read in school or how much work you have done in the public service, …if it is working back- to -back and consistently, there has to be some other source that is making it work because you are just one out of several others. Why it works for Lagos is the more reason why one has to be very sober and humble, to actually know that there is something that is making that to happen and that has to be God”.

If, for the first time in the history of Lagos state and indeed Nigeria no other politician has come forward to challenge Gov. Ambode, nine good months to the 2019 gubernatorial election , it must be God. That explains why he is being celebrated nationally and globally, like a World Cup winning goal!

Court Orders ‘Our Daily Manna’ Pastor, Chris Kwakpovwe, to Pay victim N10m For ‘Careless Crusade’

Sadly, a female lawyer has won a N10million suit against the publisher of Our Daily Manna, Reverend Chris Kwakpovwe.

Reportedly, Hon. Justice SBA Candide Johnson of the State High Court, Lagos, in his ruling ordered that the writer/publisher of “Our Daily Manna,” Reverend Chris Kwakpovwe and the Registered Trustees of the Chapel of Liberty should pay a lawyer, Tamara Egbedi, the sum of N9, 454,000, for negligence.

The female lawyer initiated this legal battle against Reverend Chris Kwakpovwe and the Registered Trustees of the Chapel of Liberty for broken teeth injuries she sustained when she attended a crusade organized by the clergy man.

In delivering the judgment in SUIT NO: LD/359/2011, Justice Candide Johnson stated that from the evidence adduced by the parties, it is not in contention that Ms. Tamara suffered injuries at the venue in the cause of attending the crusade.

“It is difficult not to observe that for the Defendants who put themselves forward as spiritual shepherds of their sheep that they appear to have demonstrated scant care and concern for victims of their January 2010 spiritual crusade and have likewise by the letter of their lawyers (Exhibit F) daring this Claimant to go to Court, the Defendants appear to have elected carnal warfare over spiritual warfare thus leaving it to the Courts of Law to intervene”.

“It is virtually ridiculous for Rev. Dr. Chris E. Kwakpovwe as the presiding Pastor, and a registered Trustee of Manna Miracle Mountain Ministry and the Publisher/Writer of “Our Daily Manna” (ODM) to invite the general public and the Claimant to a program which they expected to and which “recorded a huge attendance” and then without any remorse or conscience, argue that they only rented space at the National Stadium so he and his religious ministry owed no duty of care or concern for the welfare and safety of the guests they had invited to their own spiritual “party” or event organized by them. It is this type of reckless impunity and conscientlessness that makes many people complain about callousness and wickedness in Nigeria.

The National Sport Commission (NSC) rented space to the Defendants and it was the Defendants who structured, arraigned and independently organized their event to their own taste and standards…It is in my view, cowardly and irresponsible to invite a guest to your house or other venue for your independent event and then turn to blame a 3rd party for your own want of care and want of organizational due diligence.”

Mrs Egbedi sustained injuries when some of her family members attended the end of an anointing service organised by the defendants at the National Stadium in Lagos. Upon arrival, the Defendants ‘ ushers directed us to the available seats where unknown to them, there was an uncovered concrete gutter running in between the seats and she fell headlong into the gutter, which resulted into losing her 7 tooth and sustaining facial injuries. Informing Rev. Kwakpovwe at the end of the service, he handed her over to Mrs St. Matthew Daniels, a senior member of the church , who asked her to get estimate from a Lagos State University Teaching Hospital Ikeja (LASUTH) Dental Centre which she did but rather than doing the needful, they chose to inform Ms Tamara in a letter that they were helping her out of charity.

According to Ms. Egbedi she was later surprised at the turn of the whole matter when the Defendants changed their co-operative attitude after her lawyers demanded compensation in a letter dated 3/3/2010 from the Defendants, who insensitively responded in letter dated 26/3/2010 (EXHIBIT F) denying liability.

“Furthermore, the monetary offer of the sum of N100, 000.00 made to your client was out of charity, our client being a ministry devoted to the spread of the word of God which encourages charitable deeds.” Exhibit F ended unfortunately with the brazen, insensitive and impolite words “we close by saying that your client’s claim is a gold digging venture, but if she feels strongly about it we expect to meet you in Court,” the letter reads.

Sadly, Aisha Abimbola was finally laid to rest at Meadowvale Cemetery, Cremation and funeral Centre, Brampton, canada around 2:45 pm today amidst tears by her children and friends.



Buried in a whitish / Brownish casket, the burial was coordinated by Lola Alao who has been taken care of her during her sickness.


Amidst tight security, the daughter who was not feeling too well broke down in tears and it took the people around to encourage the girl and her brother.


It is no more news that Nollywood actress, Abimbola Aisha Omoge Campus lost the battle to the cold hands of death yesterday at Scarborough general hospital, Canada

The Nollywood industry again has been hit with tragedy as one of Nigeria's popular actresses, Aisha Abimbola AKA Omoge Campus was announced dead on Tuesday, 15th of May, 2018.

She was said to have died as a result of Breast Cancer.

LAGOS APC KILLING POLICIES AND THE PAINFUL EXIST OF HENRY AJOMALE -WE THE MASSES MOURN[b][/b] .

To have not long broken the tragic transformation of the APC Lagos chairman, Henry Ajomale, by some of our known Comrades and activist alive like Femi Falana, Abiodun Aremu, Lekan Alabi, Muiz Banire; Ismail Olawale; Lanre Suraju, Adeola Soetan and even Owei Lakemfa for that matter, among others, is indeed to some of us genuinely involved in the struggle, an unpardonable oversight or a comprise on behalf of the people.

It was indeed a shock to me when the news was broken by a mourning oppressed lagosians. It was exactly about 7:30a.m on Saturday 5th of May, 2018, when an old man walked into the central operational office of the Human Rights Monitoring Agenda (HURMA) in Shomolu, based on earlier appointment. I had worked late on friday and had to resume as early as 6:00a.m to treat a lot of pending files of people looking up to us as their last hope. I questioned the old man of 72years of age why that early? And he said he had to, because his health is increasingly falling from the oppressive policies of lagos APC government, and he needs someone trustworthy to atleast share his pains for any possible solution.

His complaint was basically about the Land Used Charge, after which he broke the sad news .

He started his narration slowly and moody and finally broke down in tears.
"My name is Alh. Sumoun-Oluwa Babajide, from No. 22, Aina Street off Johnson Bus-stop, Ijesha Road, Itire, Surulere, Lagos. After several lamentations he said "Comrade, this Land Used Charge is killing. I have been paying #5,300 (five thousand, three hundred naira) on 15% discount, because I always pay earlier on our property valued to worth 4,720,500 (four million, seven hundred and twenty thousand, five hundred naira) for over 7yrs. Now they say the property is now worth #10,137,609.27 (ten million, one hundred and thirty seven thousand, six hundred and nine naira, twenty seven koba) in 2018 and increased the money (LUC) to almost #25,000 (twenty five thousand naira) even on 15% discount. What should I do on this almost 500% increase. But we learnt that your organization with NBA among others have spoken to the government who promised to reverse. We also learnt that the matter is in court. Why this bill again just last week, 1st week of May, 2018 ?"
With tears, he asked further, "How can I approach a tenant on 500% increase on the tenancy fee, when I know that government has not increased their salaries to accommodate that?"
Admist tears, the man asked several other questions and concluded that "Comrade I am fed up, I dont know what to do"
I responded by first consoling the man to stop crying. I told him we are truly on the matter and have received several complaints from aggrieved Lagosians. We have complaints even from religious houses. I gave him the hope that without compromise, there is victory awaiting the Nigeria masses.

The man then said "Comrade, I love your resilience and consistency. I wish I could join your revolutionary organization and partake in every of your program, but I am old and weak.
When I was a youth, there was this organization called The Nigerian Youth Thinkers Club which I belonged to. It was the youth branch of the Nigerian Trade Union Congress (NTUC) in the early 50's during the period of Socialist Workers and Farmer's Party.
The NTUC set up the Patrice Lumumba Labour Academy, as a training ground for youth to give ideological orientation on patriotism among other needful in governance."

Then he finally broke the sad news in another round of tears: "Henry Dele Ajomale, the same APC Lagos chairman was a member of the Socialist Academy. The NTUC was getting aids from the then Soviet Union, through which the now NLC, formerly NTUC building at yaba, was built. Also from the socialist aid, the now APC chairman, Ajomale, was sent to a socialist country abroad on scholarship. When he came back, he started teaching at the Patrice Lumumba Academy...." and the narrator went on and on in expressing his disappointment in such a man for his presence status.

It is indeed tragic and painful for a socialist revolutionary Dele Ajomale from Patrice Lumumba Academy, to now turn a capitalist bourgeoise element, is nothing better described than "a painful exit of a revolutionary to the capitalist exploitative and oppressive status".

Patrice Lumumba was a Congolese politician but of core socialist stance, fighting against British oppression at that time. He dedicated his life to fighting colonialism, exploitation and injustice. His name became immortalized, having been identified as a true leader and freedom fighter.

There is actually non of the above that the Henry Ajomale Lagos APC led government is not guilty of. From the demolition of people's houses, that have been built before the Nigerian independent, without compensation; destruction of people's means of livelihood without provision of alternative and continuously holding people down by several underground clicks among other State unofficial machineries of exploitation and oppression, to the killing increase in the Land Used Charges among others.

What would have led to such painful, but deliberate exit of such former revolutionary in person of Ajomale, is yet unresolved.
Could it have been frustration and struggle for survival or greed ?
For Ajomale to have been teaching humanity and building revolutionaries, as a socialist at the Patrice Lumumba Academy, even if he later became helpless to have found himself amidst and amongst oppressors, it is painful how the real man dies in him, for he kept long silence in the face of oppression.

With bleeding heart, I take on Henry Ajomale, because I still see him as not completely dead amidst members of critically accidental vehicle of Lagos APC.

It is therefore not late for a Ajomale to return to a real human world of feelings and love and quit the present arena of Lagos APC, dominated by selfishness, inhumanity, oppression and exploitation of the poor Nigerians, both within and outside the party.

APC click may fake that they truely love you, but behold, the people with whom your children and generations to come will coexist, love you more.

Synagogue church building tragedy: a case beyond the ordinary[b][/b]


As Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) is about to open its defence in the criminal charges brought against it over the collapse of its six storey guest house in September 2014 in which scores of people died, the world is waiting eagerly for this historic titanic legal battle.

Clearly it is not only the SCOAN alone that is on trial but also the entire Nigeria and of course the humanity!

What exactly that is peculiar in this case? Was this the first time a structure would collapse with even greater tragedy in the world? Definitely not. What is astonishing and remains astounding till today was the extraordinary dimensions and jigsaw puzzle of the collapsed building.

It is obviously not going to be an easy case. The peculiarity and unusual nature of the collapse which defied all known scientific logic of foundational and structural ingredients of collapsed structures in the world’s history of construction or building industry!

Former Lagos State Governor, Mr Babatunde Fashola clearly foresaw this when he pointed out during an interaction with the media after visiting the collapsed site that: “the issue of Synagogue is highly technical and it requires experts to determine what actually happened to the building because it is not a thing that can be rushed into.”

Yes it is highly technical as can be seen in the legal battle from the Coroner inquest. Today, the event of collapsed structure in Synagogue has become a bundle of academic research – because of its strangeness – for the advancement of knowledge.

Dr Stephen Ntoga, an international expert in civil, structural and material engineering and Dean Faculty of Engineering in Tanzanian University was at the site for thorough investigation with his team. His verdict was incontrovertible: “The collapse of synagogue building was completely strange. It goes beyond the issue of foundation or structural elements. The construction and the materials used were excellent.” Ntoga who is an embodiment of scholastic prodigy and had handled and partaken is collapsed structured across Europe and America and flaunting the British and American codes said he clinically examined the foundation where he found no element of crack, the aggregates of materials used from the sand, steels, cement, columns, beams, loading among others that the job he found done in the collapse Synagogue building also took a preemptive sensitivity of resistance of building construction in an environment prone to natural disasters such as earthquakes and therefore confidently declared that the job done on the collapse structure was super perfect!

He stated further that the types of steels used was the highest in the world and as such with what he found, without any palpitation the foundation of the collapse six storey structure would carry conveniently twelve floors by the strength of what he saw.

Dr Ntoga, a product of Aristotle University in Greece, an international colossus in Construction Engineering challenged anybody to dispute his findings!

Another expert from South Africa, Engr. Alfeus Mamafa who also carried out an independent and private investigating team at the instance of his country also admitted at the end that: “I found nothing wrong in the design and work done here. Structural failure will always happen from the foundation and in this case everything remained solid, no crack of any and with the structural elements nothing can affect or shake the building. It can never be a case of foundational or structural failure.”

In the same vein, Engr. Thabo Pheeha also an expert concluded after his team’s investigation that “the structure must have been affected by something else other than structural or foundational failure. It is not the case here because everything remained intact despite the collapse.”

Dr Folayan, a Geophysical expert with over 45 years practising experiences across the globe including USA declared angrily after his thorough examination of the collapsed building that he was ready to sacrifice his career if anybody could come out to challenge or dispute his findings that foundation of the building was in any way faulty. He described it as “adequate, perfect and superb.”

What then was responsible for the collapse? Prophet T.B. Joshua, The General Overseer of SCOAN has a reputation for excellence all over the world for whatever he lays his hands on to do. Everything around him clearly shows the mark of super standard and higher wisdom.

Today, the world had seen clearly the perfidy and conspiracy of the collapse through the CCTV recordings. Within four seconds, a six-storey building came down flat. It had never happened in the whole world.

Jericho Weapons, in its website, added more egregious dimension to the charade of the synagogue building collapse. It was a case of one Superpower country accusing another as the mastermind of the collapse. What did he call TB Joshua’s offence? Clearly, the case of Synagogue is a battle between the light and darkness. It is also like that of a child with an unfathomable fractured waist. The wisdom of Solomon, beyond Legalism, may be required because SCOAN is a blessing to the world.

Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse doles out $30,000,scholarships to Orphans during Namibia prophetic Tour (VIDEO)





South African Based Prophet, Samuel Akinbodunse and the General overseer of Freedom For All Nations Outreach (FANO) on Tuesday, 10th of April, 2018 stormed Namibia for a Four day Miracle tour which finished Sunday, 15th of April, 2017 at the Ministry of Reconciliation.





The four-day power packed programme was no doubt a success as several instant miracles took place in the course of the programme.





According to checks by us, it was revealed that a blindman from birth and have never seen for the past 27 years was touched by the man of God and he received an instant healing and was able to see for the first time in his life.





We gathered that the several notable miracles which occurred at the programme changed lives so greatly that government officials and the people of Namibia were reluctant to let the man of God leave.





The Prime of the programme was when Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse showed his charitable attitude to the citizens.
