Mails has started dropping for 2nd level interview

Yeah, just saw mine

PhilipGallagher:
You all should check this thread

https://www.nairaland.com/2187430/ikeja-electric-electricity-sales-representatives/27

Read from page 28 or so.
Basically expect about 3 interview stages, plus the aptitude test stage making it 4 stages. The final interview is usually with the C-suite guys. For your 1st interview expect some technical questions, nothing too difficult but know your basics. They might ask you funny questions like what is electricity. Know your normal HR questions too. Nothing too hard. A good number of people will scale through this stage. The 2nd stage is more with the HR guys and this is the crucial stage. Expect anything at this stage. Final stage is with the CEO and C-level executives. After this is medicals and hopefully offer letter.
N.B some people still don't get offer leters even after passing medicals. Sometimes they waitlist people. So be prayerful.

Pay is good, opportunity to learn is good as well, prospect for growth is also good as a YEP. This is one of the best ways to enter IE unless you are coming straight from the parent coy.

Also check the previous Sahara GEP thread too for more insights.
All the best

Hello Sir Philip, I'm really sorry to bother you but I'd like to ask you questions regarding the Ikeja Electric.

I'd like to know the rate of progression after one must have gotten in through the Young Engineers Programme. After how many years before one gets promoted? What's the salary like and increments too?

Emmywhyte93:
How did it go

It went pretty well. Done yours?

Emmywhyte93:
Who has concluded his/her interview?

Has anyone done his/hers? Mine is scheduled for tomorrow.. so help me God!

Emmywhyte93:
I think he/she is referring to the test we all did as the first stage

I think so too

titanium1:
Just basics of elect/elect, test of passage understanding, quantitative and knowledge about ikeja electric itself (md, divisions, etc)

Thanks buddy, but that seems like a test to me. I thought it'd be like the conventional interview with questions like "tell me about yourself, why IE, and the likes."

Ifex4u:
When is ur interview

Friday

titanium1:
Can you help with what to expect for the 2nd stage of interview
I've passed the first stage and the 2nd stage is scheduled for Wednesday 21/3/2021

Have you done the 1st level interview? If yes, please how was it like? I got an invite for the 1st level interview.

I did, got an invite for 1st level interview some days back.

Salary received, but there is #2000 deduction. I really don't know why IPPIS is treating FTIs this way.

Same here

Ogwo2020:
Pls any update on salary?

There's none for now

Unfortunately I can't give out such info in a public forum

The herd mentality in Nigerians is frightening

Can I send you a private message?

This guy is a billionaire only he doesn't know what he has

There are fields were just six months training and he can pick any were in the world to work

Ignorance is indeed a disease

Mention the fields...

Did anyone get the "Congratulations! You will be contacted if you are shortlisted for the next stage of the application process. Redirecting..." message showing on screen? I got it after the test ended by itself

I got this, though I didn't submit myself. Time kinda ran out

Is the Lenovo T430 available? And what do you mean by overhead touch for keyboard?

Hey guys, I'd really like to get a laptop with at least 4gigs of ram, 320gb hdd, core i5, with a battery life of about 8-10hrs per full charge. I'm not big on graphics or speed. I just need something for forex trading. Budget should be around 60-75k

Please stop already, you're derailing the thread.
You've applied already, the best thing you could do now is hope for the best, or better still, forget about the recruitment.
