If I recall correctly, this was only during Covid era when visitors couldn’t leave. FYI, no legit employer will hire someone with a visit visa. It’s okay for you to search for a job during your visit, but do things legally by leaving country and following up with the employer to file work permit for you. Or like I said, go with a SV & get legal work rights.

Im not sure where you’re getting this information from about working legally with a VV. If you have a valid source, feel free to share.

Thanks for checking on me bro, the matter no easy for me oh, as I no get person for there and the way people sounds concerning the job hunt is hectic for me, I have conclude my mind that I will make the move
Am going to Ethiopia office to book my ticket tomorrow morning, after that then I will book hotel then wait for departure date, my passport will expire on April 17, 2024. The department date I choose is 14th of this month, I think I still have 6months left before departure
So I will come and try my luck
Have been going through bookings.com to know if i can see little cheaper hotel, the list I saw was 172k for 6nights (Toronto)
I think that will commence after I have booked my ticket tomorrow, I will still come for ya help abeg, to know the one I can easily cancel once am in thou I saw free cancellation on some of them but it says free cancellation before 12th oct 🤷‍♂️

Montreal is cold but not as much as Manitoba. Vancouver is the most expensive city esp North Vancouver. Toronto expenses are as much as Vancouver

I have been here a while and currently a citizen. You can get a single room between $900-$1200 per month. I was just lucky to get my for $800 cus na older building

I knew UK VO usually denied on using business account to apply even if your CAC is not active but that not usually common to Canada.

I used sponsor business account without tax or receipt for my student visa and got approved despite my Sponsor company account is inactive for many years.

Note: All application is not the same and no one should take this as priority because what work for me might not work for you, but I have seen many people that used only business account with multiple transactions debit and credit (like 30 pages of business trading ) that gotten their visa.

If you are issue minimum of 1 year you can't stay in Canada for the whole 1 year they expect you to enter and leave the country according to the days you mentioned in your application

The agent is not completely honest or he's just being economical with the truth most times when people get the exact amount of year's left on the PP it is because their biometrics is still long enough to cover for that num of years eg u applied and did biometrics that same year and then on approval u submitted a 5yrs PP, u will get what's left on your PP but let's say u already have a running biometrics maybe 2years left and u got approved then submitted a 10yrs PP why they will give u is 2yrs they do not give u beyond ur biometric exp date then as for the days he can stay in CANADA when he gets in max as a vv holder is 6months to still have a legal stay and I repeat do not over stay in Canada withing this 6mths he has to look for a way to convert his visa else OYO. He should try and retrieve the documents used in his application and what the agent filled in his application form(some of this agents will just fill nonsense and make thing difficult for u when u want to file for PR) when they see your story is not adding up. This is just a small tip for ur uncle

You can use only your company account if the business is trading shows multiple transactions with good balance.

Advantage with company account is that you don't need to explain lumps sum in your account, but make sure you submit all Documents related to your business.


I will advise u apply with a separate account you do not have a strong case when u use business account to apply because since it is a business account the VO might assume that you can make use of that money at anytime for business hence it doesn't reflect how u are going to finance ur trip your business money should be separated from ur personal money that's the point and using ur business account you cannot establish that

I forgot to add. There are Nigerians here who are genuinely ready to help those stranded without accommodations. In fact there is one igbo woman here. She and her husband dey run one shelter for Africans only.

If you’re coming with no place to stay. I can link you up with them. Instead of paying $400/day for hotel. Use this one find your feet. ✌️

That changing fron vv to work is extremely hard and not as easy as people outside think,all thoes senior advocate of lmia on this forum few month back ,some dey Asylum camp already and we no hear from them again as dey land and see reality ...and please connect to people before you arrive and no think u go just go ome far province becos it cheap and go easy survive,canada no dey operate that way.. even to rent house u need papers so look for people u kmow based in canada for confirmed information not just online alone..canada is big amd good but come with big challenges if u be visitor just planning ti stay na when u arrive u go understand
