OP, you CANT go wrong with an MDX, especially the 2004 and after. 2001-2003 often develops transmission issues (if not taken care of well) after the 100,000Km mark but that has been corrected in 2004 and after designs.

I presently use a 2006 MDX and that car is very solid. the parts are easy to get as it uses some Honda parts but it is a luxury car.
Trust me, let your mechanic look at it and you'll surely enjoy it.

my advise would be

1. 2007 MDX
2. Infiniti FX35 (2006-2007)
3. Lexus RX330 (2006)
4. Toyota Highlander (2008)

Although i cant really differentiate between Ruggedness and durability in cars, as i feel they mean same thing. so i am considering Class/Durability/Maintenance. Not in any order though, but the ones with the most averages combined.

You cant just say between 2003-2009 as there are about 3 different major body changes in the year ranges you gave and they are distinct changes. Do some researches on what you want and when you know the year, people that have used/using that model/year can help you.

OP, how is this MDX 2004??
The exhaust pipe is twin(on one side) instead of Double(on both sides), the grill is thin instead of Thick in the middle and the interior pix gives it as 2001-2003.
Kindly verify the year of make and correct your errors.

Very true. I think the ones repaired in the US would be better because of the finesse and they do not panel beat the body most times. They simply replace the damaged parts. One must get people that would do good work on the repairs.

That MDX is 2003 at best.
