Salary data for high earning EMPLOYEES, especially those of hospitals and non-profits, are widely available online. Sometimes you can even get the salaries of high level employees at private quoted companies. There are many Nigerian employees I know of who earn over $500K annually. There's this Yoruba guy working for oil company in Houston that I looked up, he was making $400K per year. Then there was my neighbor for a while and another I know of for fact, but I'll just go with a hospital CEO. Many working doctors at these hospitals earn more than the CEO, again I know this for a FACT.

In all I write, I'm not overly concerned about HIGH INCOME earners or the top of the pyramid in ANY COUNTRY. My main concern is the PROSPECTS for average people like me who come from the poor to middle classes.

This is graduation season in the USA. I have three family friends or acquaintances who just graduated as nurses in Texas, Virginia and Georgia, ALL of them already had Nigerian university degrees before they arrived here 5 to 10 years ago, one of them is a Law graduate from one of the old federal universities. Their average starting pay is $33/hr, and they each got CASH signing bonus of $20K to $30K. I'm sure each of them can now comfortably send ₦500K = $325 per month to Nigeria, but I would advise them to use it as payment on a 5 year new car loan instead

One of them her husband is already a Nurse Practioner and I know their starting salary is $130K per year. So right now that couple is earning over $200K per year, guaranteed. That means they earn more than 90% of all households in the USA according to IRS data. I suppose they should have stayed in Nigeria or maybe return now and aspire to be the next Jim Ovia and Chinyelu Okoli or Dangote and Don Jazzy in Nigeria. LOL, I hope it works out for you all.

If I have such amount I will use it to purchase shares from a blue chip or fortune 500 company and be given a HB1 visa or a special kind of visa given to foreign investors. From there you can go there anytime you want without the embarrassment of being called a bloody Nigerian. And you convert 10m to dollars and you will see you are gonna be a highly rated investor. Like 10k to 12k dollars worth. Over there you know it is a lot of money.

Migrating overseas is expensive except you want to do your postgraduate studies. You have to look at cost of living. Don't just come here asking people who may not have a full/detailed idea of how cost of living is in some countries.

Malta or Luxembourg is okay for that amount but if you want to quickly be a millionaire in dollars, buy shares from amazon, Facebook, Google or Apple Inc.

You know they said once examiner match brake for you, that is the end of testing. My examiner matched brake o. I said It was still orange so I could still go. Those instructors are making stupid money. 30 dollars per session and they can have like 5 sessions in a day. On drive test date, He took four of us there, that is 200*4 = 800 Dollars. cool cash. The first day they told me I was going to pay 200 dollars for test date for him to take me there and use his car, I wanted to have a heart attack. 200 ginni for what? why wasn't I told before we started this whole thing?. Please don't go for it as a graduate. The hustle is not soo worth it. Its demeaning and you need to see the list of all the complaints i kept hearing from Naijas that are doing security work in Dubai. They complained a lot and many of them told me they don't mind going back to Naija but the disgrace would be much and some have to recoup the cooperative society funds used to process their VISA, Flight et al.
Their stories were diverse and very pathetic. imagine 16 people living in one single room with no amenities and their salaries being deducted. I met and listened to almost 10 different security employees and from 3-4 different hotels and estates. so i know what i am talking about.

Nahhhh! My friend is like a twin brother. Besides i mentioned that my proof (kind of receipt) is still on their website that i paid and they never for once denied it. In fact there was a time we called the Bank Of America in a 3-way call conference call to retrieve the money back saying we transferred in error but the Fraud Dept. operator told us its already more than a month and they would need to get in touch with the owners of the account.
He later called to say they declined to send the money back and he wasn't forth coming in giving us more info about them.
