We have seen a lot of do's and don'ts concerning relationships on Nairaland. Rules such as...
1) How to make a girl happy
2) How to keep your man..., etc
All these long set of rules just for relationship sake? It is worrisome. I just discovered that the happiest set of people are those that are not into any relationship of any kind.
Am a Relationship person, but this got me thinking Btw..
The world keeps spinning fast, and so has technology, work demands, world economies, cultures, science and even religion. In the midst of it all, one thing remains highly complicated as ever – the thirst and quest to find your marriage material. Well, truth be told, this part of life aspirations keeps eluding millions of single men and women across the world.
But in the stress of it all, you may want to find out the actual reasons why staying single remains the best option for you in such a fast advanced global village. These well thought out points would best give you a second thought why you should join the ”single fraternity.”
1. Stress Management.
Believe it or not, over 50 percent of all patients suffering stress disorders have been documented to be victims of a disturbing relationship, cheating partners, heart breaks…you just name them. Not to say having a marriage partner is a disadvantage; fact is, is far having the best of life’s relaxation through the use of nature other than the stress of a failed relationship.
2. Health Benefits
Virologists and Reproductive Health experts have concluded that the main cause of infections – especially sexually transmitted diseases and infections have been due to the profligate sexual engagement of people. Sex, that is, remains the main means of transmission of even the world’s most incurable diseases as HIV/AIDS. Not to forget about Hepatitis, Herpes, and other severe infectious diseases which is documented to have killed millions of sexually active persons. Yes we know that condoms have been a life saver but has it really lived its purpose? Your guess is as good as mine!
3. Economic Freedom
Ever thought of how to work a double just so you met the financial demands of your soulmate? For those of us African men we sure can allude to the fact of how ”expensive” bride prices now remain the ultimate means by which lower income parents make their lifelong retirement packages. We have not even come to the side of managing a family in a weak African economy. Well,maybe channeling all these monies into an investment account could be worth it.
4. Emotional Stability
You may not have been a victim of suicidal thoughts or chronic depression. But trust the very point that millions of men and women out there are resorting to hard drugs, needles and anti-depressants just because they can barely stand the pressurize(s) of having to compare the stress of work with the stress of a far more complicated relationship.
5. Build Friendships
Often times when you’re in a relationship, you are unable to maintain or build new friendships since your focus will be building and maintaining your relationship with your partner. Being single, you can spend as much time with your friends without feeling guilty. You can also go out and exchange numbers with anyone, anytime and anywhere without being judged

I doubt this news, i guess you op don't know how medical school is run. They don't use CGPA in med school so how come she became overall best? what are the modalities they used? further maths? In med school you can only have distinction in that specialty that is what distinguishes you from others. how many distinctions did she have? fake news.

I have always wondered how easy it is for people to bring down the beliefs of others because to me this is grossly unfair and not necessary.

Everyone has a right to his or her beliefs but no matter what we believe,there is always a constant which is the truth and so i always ask myself some questions like, what if it was not necessary to accept Jesus as my lord and Savior? what if there is no GOD? What if there is no judgement,heaven or hell? What if there is no life after death?

But before i made my decision some years ago on what to believe,i pondered over this story and i want you all to read.

Some men were to embark on a compulsory one way journey to a certain destination but there is an unfounded story going round that on the route to that destination,there is a big river they must cross and the best way to be on the safer side is to take with them a life jacket because without a life jacket,they will never be able to cross that river to the other side.

Fortunately,this life jacket is a very light one that does not add any significant weight to their luggage and if they get to that river and realize they don't need the life jacket,they have nothing to lose and will just cross over anyways but if they get to that river and realize they need that jacket to cross over,they have everything to gain and nothing to lose.

This is the case we face today; The Bible says we must believe that Jesus died for us and accept him as Saviour(Which is a synonym of the life jacket) before we can have an everlasting life in paradise(Cross the river)

Atheists say you don't need to believe there is a GOD let alone Jesus before you can have a good after life.

Christians say you need to accept Jesus Christ as lord and Saviour in order to have a good after life.

The Muslims believe that Jesus never died for them and they need not believe in his death and resurrection.


Now this is the interesting thing to ponder over:

1.If as an Atheist you believe there is GOD and accept Jesus as lord and savior and you die and realize you really do not need to believe all these,you definitely have nothing to lose at all but if you realize that your decision to believe these paid off,i guess you have nothing to lose but everything to gain.

2.For the Muslims who believe that Jesus was never crucified hence no need to accept him as savior,what if you die and realize you were wrong all along,you will definitely have everything to lose and nothing to gain but if you accept Jesus today and you die to realize you made a wise decision, you will have everything to gain and nothing to lose.

I have made my choice many years ago and if i die today and realize there is no GOD,no life after death,no judgment,no heaven or hell,i honestly have nothing to lose even if i have nothing to gain,its still safe but if i die this moment and realize that i made the right choice believing there is GOD and that Jesus actually died as a lamb of GOD to save the world from eternal condemnation i have everything to gain and nothing to lose.

MAY GOD NOT LET US BE AMONG THOSE WHO WILL KNOW THE TRUTH AFTER WE LEAVE THIS WORLD WHICH APPARENTLY WILL BE TOO LATE.IT COSTS US NOTHING TO BELIEVE THERE IS GOD AND THAT JESUS DIED TO TAKE AWAY OUR SINS.PLEASE LETS PLAY SAFE.

Nobody can break a heart that cant be broken...only those who believe love between humans exists risk their hearts to be charttered.

I have always reiterated that 99.9% of my threads are for matured minds.

Any boy or girl below 23 may find it hard to grasp the deep messages but will realize latter in life how factual i am.

I repeat...forget love,just do the needful,get married,raise a family and make the best of your life.

If you are the type who believes one guy or lady loves u then your second name is sorry.

Go with the flow and be good to your bae but always be ready for an unpleasant action from that same person.

Dorget all these face value love and dedicate your love to GOD alone while playing along with your partner by respecting and caring for that person.

Only the dreamers believe in human love..be my friend,the mother of my children,a wife and my companion and im ok but dont ever bother fooling yourself beyond that...what we have as humans is contractual love.

This is not about a personal experience but the truth is everywhere for us to see and only those who choose to be blind wont see it.

Take away the benefits and see if that person will still feel same way.

This is not about those words..i love you...but it is the motive for saying the words.

Apparently we cant stop using those words as it remains the only way to reaffirm out present feelings for our bae.

Pls dont het it twisted,very few humans still love a fellow human unconditionally but that minute few is so negligible that one can confidently say LOVE BETWEEN HUMANS IS A FACADE...a chase after the wind...
