arm robbery is a crime by law, abortion isnt, wake up!!!!

hhhmmmm "maybe" because arm robbery/murder is a crime by LAW, abortion isnt, duh!
Abortion is illegal in Nigeria. No?

MRBrownJ:
my comment about women who cant bare children was a direct response to Think_sh who wrote:
"Plenty of people around the world would do anything to have a child but cant, so that child would bless their lives endlessly and in return the child's life would be blessed."

using desperate women as a reference was her idea, not mine. i suggest you direct your query towards her.
Sadly, I actually agree with her, not your rebuttal to her comment.   grin

MRbrownJAY:
are these options going to make it easier for a mother to give the child away?!
as much as these are YOUR options, the option of NOT going through with it all should have its place there too.
I'm afraid, the topic isn't about what to do with pregnancy but, the existence of justifiable reason as to why killing the child/abortion should be encouraged; which requires that, one who is for abortion states these reasons and, one who is against it [ like me] rebuts the points given and, give other options that seem better, ruling out abortion. That's exactly what I did, Mrbrownjay.
I also understand that in practical, only an individual can decide what she does with her body and the issue of abortion being right or wrong is almost not considered but, I'm only addressing the topic and my point is, under these seeming good circumstances where abortion is supposed to be justified, if there are other options, even though less convenient but if there are at all, they should be considered . . .Abortion is not the only soln.

MRbrownJAY:
EATING is a necessity of life in order to survive, having children isnt. lol why would you even compare the two?!!?!?!?!
Your comment was ''just because some women cant bare children , shouldn't be a reason for women to have unwanted children'' and I gave the hungry man instance to illustrate that no matter how useless a thing is to you, discarding it improperly when there's someone close to you in dire need of it is never applausable. Put aside, how necessary both are.

MRbrownJAY:
handling your responsibilities?! bwaaah, thats a new one!
that person's responsibility is to solve the problem at hand, the best THEY see fit, however THEY see fit. expecting them to have that child regardless of their situation is immature.
Need I remind you again that I'm against abortion and would therefore, in this argument, not consider the woman's selfish reason for choosing abortion over other options, where available. Following your logic . . . It's my responsibility to fend for myself as an adult. Since I have no money and I urgently need money, I rob a bank even though I could do 'demeaning' jobs to get money. According to you, if the court finds me guilty, it's immature because I solved my problem the way I deemed it fit? Hello Mbj?
Lemme not even mention that I'm trying to see what maturity has got to do with this. grin

MRbrownJAY:
two wrongs dont make a right. yes they made a mistake and they should FIX IT the best they can. forcing them to have this kid is  lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed.
the only one who will suffer here is the unwanted kid.
I haven't said force them to birth the baby but I must say it wouldn't be a bad idea if that were possible. People must learn to take responsibility for their actions.
I wouldn't even be surprised if half the number of people 'killing their babies' weren't even violated but consensually opened their legs.
Why should we curse and point fingers at the armed robber who kills while 'operating' when we're doing just the same thing albeit in a 'mild form'? Did I hear someone say it's just a fetus?

MRbrownJAY:
@woke4all
bro this one is too long nah!!!

if the person doesnt believe that there is a life form YET inside her then she should have all the rights to abort and THEN pay for the consequences of her action (whatever they may be). the choice should be hers and no one else's.

trying to force someone into not doing something that YOU see as a crime when she clearly doesnt see it as such, IS where the problem lies
.

there are WAY too many suffering kids in orphanages in 9ja for the poster to add any more. Nigerians and their misplaced egos dont adopt, we all know that so lets not pretend here.

i have to use bible scriptures because too many people are trying to portray this act as against the bible teachings.
We understand this.  . . . Opinion is different from practice. This is our opinion.
We know that people will do as they please with their body at the end of the day but, that fact is irrelevant to the fact that some of us think abortion should not be considered in a case where it can be disregarded.

RomanceRe: Is There Any Good Reason For Committing An Abortion? by MissyB3(f): 2:13pm On Jan 27, 2011
My view on this subject is rather complicated.
I'd say killing is killing and abortion cannot be justified under any given circumstance but then, what if it involves biological complications? I do not actually think it's silly or wrong to abort in this case so, I can't really say ''yes, there are or No, there aren't'' in response to your question.

About violation being a 'good' reason, I do not fully agree. What about having the child and giving it up for adoption? The child is a product of the crime not the criminal so why take it out on him/her?
My point? Unless it's an issue of life-and-death, abortion shouldn't be an option.

One who commits abortion is not morally different from the man on the screen said to have murdered another being or, the man/woman that aided the murder.

MRbrownJAY:
1) its NOT easy to carry a child 9months and just give it away to strangers.
You actually have options: Keep 'it' or give 'it' out. Do the former if you have an iota of affection for that 'mini you' and the latter, if you can't stand him or her. Killing him/her isn't the soln.

MRbrownJAY:
2) just because some women cant bare children , shouldnt be a reason for women to have unwanted children. because we all know that this child will look for their biological parent and ask questions.
I doubt there's anyone who wouldn't frown at a man who throws a loaf of bread away when there's another man beside him who's very hungry and has nothing to eat.

MRbrownJAY:
3) if the child was conceive through ra.pe then giving it away doesnt make it right EMOTIONALLY for that person. an abortion would fasten the healing process, rather than waiting 9months before starting to put this ordeal behind her.
Abortion wouldn't automatically bring healing. . . . . Having the child and giving it up later may not either but, you would have at least, handled your responsibility which is birthing a child that grows from your flesh and as a result happens to be your flesh.

MRbrownJAY:
what abortion does is give respect to life by accepting that this is not the proper time and situation to have a child. without the proper care/love/emotional stability AND financial stability, there should be NO reason to even THINK of having a child.
If it's the proper time to open legs, it should also be the proper time to open same legs and face the aftermath of one's pleasure. Something about action and consequence.
In the case of rape or incest, have the child and give him up(?).

These species never cease to amaze me. Why must they ALWAYS want to have their cake and eat it? See this pretty faced mumu wey marry obscenely wealthy bossman and yet she wan still dey sample other guys koboko outside. I don't care if the husband isn't good in bed or doesn't have time for her - since she wanted to marry a rich man, why not simply make a trade off and forgo the other things? ? ? Must they always want the best of everything - even if supplied by different men?

Some of these ungrateful, insatiable dogs are better fed to wild pigs.
