Women do it all the time and it's not necessarily because the guy is a billionaire or whatever. Did Regina Askia not give up acting too? Is her husband a billionaire? And Victoria Inyama. And many others like that.
It's one thing to come to a mutual agreement with your husband . . . . It's another thing for your FIL to-be to say ''Stop it, I don't want you to bring shame upon the Family name''. No?
What next? Dictate to me how many kids to have, what I should wear and eat?

CelebritiesAkande Extracts ‘No More Acting’ Promise From Dakore - Weds Next Week by MissyB3(mod): 4:00pm On Jan 09, 2011

BARING a last minute change of heart by Dakore, the wife-to-be may have waved the movie industry bye-bye as her father-in-law, Harry Akande, has got the actress to promise the family not to act again. “As long as she’s married to my son,” R source quoted the billionaire businessman and politician.

For long, the businessman never approved of the four year relationship between his only son, Olumide Akande and the actress, afraid that a scandal could break if she continues acting, thereby tarnishing the image of the family.

“He never had anything against the lady, he was just worried she might be scandalised in the future’’, added the man who was privy to information from the Atlanta meeting in November.

The man, however, needs not fear again as the actress promised not to do anything to tarnish the image of the Akandes, just as she agreed to stop acting.

Dakore said this much in United States during the couples introduction. It was a full house and right before the many eyes, the groom-to-be asked the actress’ hands in marriage on his knees.
The fairy tale wedding will take place in Lagos next weekend.

For a while now, the actress has not appeared in any movie.

Question of the day:

If you were in her shoes would you rather stop your career for marriage or vice-versa? Please, vote.

queensmith:
I think culture is the best place to put this,
Romance/ General, perhaps?

queensmith:
what do you think about tongue piercings?
I'm indifferent about it!

queensmith:
whats soo wrong with it?
It's obviously not a 'Nigerian thing' but it cannot be considered wrong for that reason. To do so would be nonsensical as, most of us have our ears pierced. Ears, tongue, P*** , bellybutton etcetera are all parts of the body. It's amoral. Whatever pleases one.

queensmith:
why must it immediately be deemed sexual?
Ionno. I just can't think of any better purpose it serves other than add pleasure to MouthAction.

queensmith:
will you ever do it?
No! I'm too scared to alter any part of my body.

HTown Eve:
Okay Missy ★ B
If and when there is discharge, why would you be grossed out by something that comes out of your body?   cool kiss
Go back to my comments.  . . .Read, understand and do not misinterpret my words.
It's not the fact that it comes outta one's body that makes it gross. It's the fact that you allow it drop on your trousers and still walk around freely. Sooner than you expect, it would dry on the trousers and it would smell [Whether or not it originally had a foul smell]. What happens afterwards? Wait till you get home and wash the trousers immediately? Do you also feel comfortable going out without sanitary pad when it's that time of the month just because you would wash your panties immediately you get home?
You know, pantliners weren't made to be eaten. They are to serve a purpose . . . .Help them be useful.
PS: Of course, it's not my business if anyone decides to walk around the Earth w/o panties. It's a discussion and I'm only participating, asking how it is possible for y'all to feel comfortable.

As for other readers who think our comments are too picturesque, I'm sorry if you find it offensive but there are more than 58475587 threads you could post on and just ignore this one. Plus, we definitely haven't gone offtopic. Besides, I expect that no one is less than 18 here.

Yep she is a woman. Mamagee is correct. Any abnormal/plenty discharge is a sign of infection. Some females are very sensitive down there and things like panties, pads, dongs grin etc can cause irritation or infection. Many of our girls don't go for check ups and just assume that all discharges are normal. Just like not all discharges are normal for guys as well. lipsrsealed

Like I mentioned before; woman are most wet some days of the month (the normal love juice tongue). Anything outside that is off and needs to be checked or fixed by antibiotics. It is no big deal. kiss
Noise! cool
School Mama-Gee if you will, not me. The question is, is there any secretion at all? Save the sermon for the less enlightened.

How can a sane human being especially a girl leave home without wearing a pant??
where would those whitish secretions that comes out of the Vjay settle on? my gosh!! some girls are proudly dirty dirty pigs.
My thought exactly! I just decided to read and laugh at how clean and big some girls are rather than post and mock.  grin grin Well, I couldn't resist the urge to post when I read this. grin
How do you even deal with the twins dancing up and down? How do you feel comfortable down there? This is serious!  grin grin

Pants and bra are compulsory.  . . . .I feel naked when I do not have them on.
Pants and bra are your friends . . . .Use 'em!!! grin cool
EducationRe: Who Is To Be Blame For Student's Poor Performance? by MissyB3(f): 5:23pm On Jan 05, 2011
The system has a share of the blame, so do the students. It would be irrational to heap it all on just one side. While the latter refuses to put in much effort, the former is willing to tolerate or excuse indolence, as long as a price is paid. The family has a role to play too. Parents should supervise their kids' study and how they make use of their time, help them with study tips.
There's no way 80% could have failed that exam if they had studied duly.
Were they taught what they were asked? If Yes, did they answer correctly?
It's one think to think one has done well . . . .It's another thing to have actually done well.

You are joking right? seriously, you call those movies?  undecided undecided
Yes, they are called MOVIES. If you've been viewing only bad ones, you probably do not know how to pick right. Like every other film industry, Nollywood makes good and bad movies. That you are not a fan doesn't automatically make the industry crap.
FoodRe: Food Supplements That Promote Eye Sight by MissyB3(mod): 3:22pm On Jan 04, 2011
Take foods rich in zinc, beta carotene, vitamin C, vitamin E, lutein and zeaxanthin and omega-3 fats. . . .They are good for the eyes and prevent macular degeneration.
Yes, carrot is very good as, it contains a carotenoid called beta carotene which the body converts to vitamin A and you know how essential vitamin A is. Spinach, fruits like kiwi and oranges, garlic, salmone and sardine, eggs, broccoli are said to be very good. Good luck!
