Obiora94: Co - ask! Is this TB test mandatory and what are the qualified centers available in abuja. Also, can someone confirm that you need to book your flight and accommodation before applying to vfs. Thanks TB test is mandatory as part of your Visa requirements. Dr Hassan hospital in maitama that's the center VFS uses. For your second question, you need a flight intenery and also you need to show them a proof of where you will be staying like a hotel or so. I hope this answers your question. All the best! |

TONYE001: Honestly..the smoking stuff was shocking, really.
I also wonder....now you've reminded me..I thought of looking up the prevalence of tohacco-related diseases in Jordan...and maybe Israel. I'll do this today once I'm settled at work.
I'm soOoOO looking forward to visiting more Asian countries... especially China and India. I want to try their cuisines...I'm sure you are enjoying some great meals in South Korea... Of course I'm enjoying their meals.😊 |

Thumbs up Doc for sharing this educative post. It was as if I was on the journey too, LoL 🤣
I enjoyed every bit of it. Kudos once again. Here in South Korea too majority of them are smokers let's say 70%. The younger ones and elderly people, you will see them outside smoking, almost every where.
I then begin to wonder if they don't develop liver problems associated with smoking. |

MufasaLion: Nice. I always wonder how the rice cakes and other rice products taste.
Fragile beings.
I enjoyed their historical dramas like Jumong back then. Still my best of their movies.
Oh, nice. You're a postgraduate student? I love some of their rice products but not all. The rice flour is what we Africans here use to make swallow. Yes, I'm a post -graduate student. |
Phones › Re: Samsung Official Thread by missyojo(f): 12:50am On Feb 09, 2025 |
MufasaLion: Well written. By rice gums, you mean rice balls?
How about their emotions? Are they fragile as portrayed in movies? No, not rice gums. I mean their cooked rice sticks together. And again they produce lots of things with their rice ranging from rice cakes, rice flour, rice biscuits and so on. Yes, they are fragile. It will interest you to know that I have never watched a single K-drama before as I'm not a fan of movies 🤣 My school is one of the locations they use to shoot their movies. |

MufasaLion: Nice. Tell me more about South Korea, the people, culture, food, etc. South Koreans are very very accommodating, they are ever ready to assist you on seeing that you are Black. For the food it's totally different from Nigerian/African foods. Their cooked rice gums together so that it will be easier to use chopping sticks to eat it. I have adapted to their food most especially eating pork meat 😁 African store is expensive here and again they have lots of sea foods. Then for the culture, I can't talk much about it because I'm still yet to understand Korean culture. |

MufasaLion: Fold is more masculine though but most women I know that are using it are into corporate jobs. Oh, South Korea is Samsung home though.
Is Samsung the most used device there? The youths use iphone while the others use Samsung. |
Phones › Re: Samsung Official Thread by missyojo(f): 2:32pm On Feb 08, 2025 |
MufasaLion: "Samsungnified" will be added to my vocabulary.
Well, both flip and fold are great but I prefer fold because it has lots of advantages especially if you are someone that likes magnified screen, does a corporate job (I'm case you have no laptop with you), etc.
Flip is good also but I see no reason for tou to get it except maybe because you can fit in in your pocket with ease. My partner uses the fold, what I discovered about it is the closing and opening too often. I like the flip because it's pocketable, here in South Korea it's what the Females mostly use and again it's cheap. |

MufasaLion: Samsung is too awesome! Always awesome! I still prefer anything Note-like because of the size, edge screen, bezel and pen. More reason I suggested S22 Ultra. Yes, you can say that again.I'm now Samsungnified 🤣 Which of the note will you suggest and again what do you think about the flip or fold? I'm asking because I want to get another one but not now 😁 |

MufasaLion: All right. How's it so far? It's small and I prefer bigger phones. It's a machine I must say. I'm enjoying every bit of it and I love the size too. The ultra is too big for my liking 😁 |
Phones › Re: Samsung Official Thread by missyojo(f): 12:28pm On Feb 08, 2025 |
MufasaLion: The Note series are awesome. If you want to have the Note experience in S series, buy S22 Ultra because it's of latest version. They have discontinued the Note series since 5 years ago or so except you wanna buy the Note 10 Plus, which is old but still gold.
My advice is you should buy S22 Ultra. Thank you for your response. I got the S22plus, the ultra was more than my budget. |
