I took care of the same issue on my clients car last weekend. The issue came up as a result of ignorance. Her car was overheating but she drove the across two states of over an hour difference stopping intermittently to add water to the radiator. The summary of this story is that European cars are strong. You can imagine the engine oil mixing with water and still drove smoothly. The head gasket is not more than 3500 depending on you location. I'm in abia state, pm me for more guidance.

My client said the mechanic told her the gasket and everything he is going to do is 45k. That is the reason I ran here to ask for help cus it sounds too much. The car is overheating and then she felt is the fan. After changing the fan cus it wasn't working, they are now saying the gasket has been affected, and has burst somewhere in the radiator that is making it lick.
