NDNO: ok yes it's fine I just wanted to know if she've done any post secondary education...since you said so it ok..once her waec is ok she will get the admission for the university 1 program... But how long ago did she write her WAEC?...there will definitely be a gap from that time to now .....this is where you have to make a detailed convincing explanation to the visa officer while appling for her visa what she was doing from the year she wrote Waec till now.... 2011. Yea, I Get that. Thank you, will apply to UofM and UR. It will end in praise |

Chukwuemeka101: Nope, you dont, not until you get your visa,...
You can only do your registration for classes when you have your visa, then you can talk of paying your tuition fee from here or there... Is optional... If you can pay here, fine, if you can pay there good, but the 100k you paid is also part of your tuition fee....E.g if your tuition fee is 400k and you accepted the admission with 100k.....that means you have to balance up 300k when you start up class ... Thank you for making it clear. Cheers |

Chukwuemeka101: I paid 100k ,though mine is undergraduate program, you can check the school site for more information Hello Chukwuemeka, having made a deposit of N100k(Cad$350/400) does this mean you don’t have to pay tuition fee from here in Nigeria? |

Naijaforeigner: For example, everyone in Canada at the moment (Including International students) that have earned at least 5,000cad and have lost their jobs due to Covid19 are eligible for monthly income of 2000 Cad for up to 4 months. I got paid $2000 yesterday, e do me like film. I was not even making that much in a month doing 20 hours weekly before the whole Covid19 crisis. Some schools in Canada have also set up funds to help students. My school has a 1.5Million cad emergency fund gotten from donors and have asked all students to apply for a 1 time donation of 500 cad. Honestly I have being very impressed. Amazing, thank you for sharing this testimony God bless you and God bless Canada. Ps: Please does anyone know a college/university(aside UoM) that does not require tuition deposit from international students? Please help mention them, thank you everyone. |

Hello Bro, sorry about your refusal. I am not a guru, However could you mention; 1-Your relationship to this lawmaker? 2-Does his scholarship offer cover only study or both living allowance for the duration of your wife’s study? Hopefully other experienced followers here could help put you in the right direction. Best wishes ahead... Lekan45: REFUSED.... Wife applied for study permit, husband for open work permit, daughter visitor visa.
Refusal reason - will not leave after completion of study/work/visit based on 1. Family ties in home country and Canada. 2. Prospect of employment in Home country 3. Personal asset and Financial Status.
Wife documents submitted
Detailed scholarship from an elected government official (lawmaker) on his official letterhead. Paid 1st semester tuition already All employment documents (civil servant) A letter from a monarch Acceptance letter from the tuition Stated that study leave from work have applied for Letter of Intent Marriage certificate
Husband documents SoA showing 1.6m balance (inflow of 1.8m) in 3+months All employment details (civil servant) A legal agreement by the family indicating the husband has been given the right to manage the family's asset existing and to be procured. A letter of introduction from a business lead partner stating the husband's stake and duties in the business. A letter from another monarch Stated that leave of absence from work has been applied for Marriage certificate
Daughter Birth certificate And other IMME forms....
To reapply Wife additional documents A letter and statement from her cooperative Society showing her savings of 650k A bank balance of 280k Family pictures Sworn affidavit to the Honourable stating that she will return. Pension fund account balance.
Husband Same bank balance (improved inflow and outflow) Vehicle documents Updated letter of Explanation stating ties with family. Pension fund account balance.
Please, experts in the house, what are suggestions? What should be remove, what should be added?
Being fully governmentally employed, why the employment prospects again? In wife's intent, she wants to have a change of career owing to her personal interest and past job experience. Short term goals and long terms goals were clearly stated and very relevant to the nature of the community. |

Blema111: If I’m the VO, I won’t agree that a mother should leave her 1 year plus baby to pursue her education. The child is still really young na. Why can’t she go with the baby and use you as the hometie? You are the man na, you can survive behind alone. Thanks for your input, I will take all this into consideration when applying. |

JustMellow: Hello MisterSpark,
Opinions may vary on this. Let her apply with her baby and satisfy the VO that the child won't be a distraction and show proof of the required funds.
All the best Hello JustMellow Thanks for your advise on this. However I was of the opinion that we could use our baby as a strong tie back home. Myself I have only been to the US once, my visa was valid for 2 month. After program I went for was over, I left for Nigeria. Could we add this info to her app since I am going to be one of her sponsors. Gurus, kindly advise |
