ArcSEMPECJ: Bro...before you talk about life being low, your Spirit being low , I want to ask you, what is it that you have allowed in your life ?
Listen, life can never offer you anything, talk more of in this end time where evil prevails , you have to take everything my violence...
I don't mean being physically violent but Spiritually violent, for you to be alive today is a testimony that there is a huge assignment to do , and is only you that will do it...
Brace up, dust your Spirit, and move on, your weakness is not inspired by your God for he didn't create you for weakness..
Listen, speak to the spiritual realms , you are not weak, God knows your existence, he will see you through....but remember, you are not the only one in this case, so fight a good fight of faith and welcome to a new level....in Christ Jesus Amen... Thanks for your kind words. Please let me know when you see this comment. Thanks |

franchasofficia: Congratulations to Yinka Ayefele, he has paid his dues. He never allowed his condition to define his life, I am always happy reading about him.
Thank God Governor Seyi Makinde remembered him, thank you sir.
And this is to all Nigerian youths reading my comment, don't give up, God have not given up on you, please listen and listen attentively, if you are born into a poor or average family in Nigeria, to break the yoke of family poverty and financial rat-race, do any of the below:
1.) If you have the talent, by every means get into entertainment industry; music, comedy, skit making using social media platforms (don't mind what people will say), learn music instruments, movie industry, Radio/TV presenting, Journalism, etc.
2.) If you have the talent, don't let it waste, get into sports; football, athletics (running, jumping, etc), basketball, boxing, etc
3.) Japa; yes you heard me well, by any means possible Japa as early as possible don't wait till the door closes on you. If you can sell your family land sell and please make sure u use it to migrate abroad asap
4.) Get into content creation; be it video skits, blogging, ebook writing, etc, just find a way to get in. Its a good way of building a passive income that may outlive you if done properly.
If I have the time and zeal may write on this to help youths here.
5.) Get into IT; programming, coding, web design, App design/development, AI, graphics design, etc, just take it serious and make sure you are very very good in any part you decided to major on. Use online resources to improve your skills. Go on x and find mentors and follow and reach out to them. Get your portfolio on GitHub, explore upwork, fiverr, and dnt ignore LinkedIn.
6.) Go and learn a high in demand handwork as soon a possible, better before you clock 30.
Auto-rewire electrician, HVAC, carpentry and add some modernity to your skill, plumbing, forklift operation, crane operation, fashion designing with seriousness and passion, cooking/baking.
These are the fastest ways to break away from family poverty without waiting for a paid job or miracle.
Act fast, there is no time. Stop complaining and start acting from now.
Wishing you guys all the best I'm tired of the whole life as I am. My strength has failed me. I can't carry on again cos I'm weak. Very weak. Why is life like this? Why? Why I can't blame anyone for taking their lives,. I'm down, I'm low, very low in spirit. |

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Tuesday, presented a brand-new Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) to popular gospel singer, broadcaster, and Chairman of Fresh FM 105.9, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, following last Friday’s fire outbreak that razed parts of the Music House complex in Ibadan.
The inferno, which gutted sections of the media house, destroyed property worth millions of naira, leaving Ayefele and his team counting heavy losses.
Speaking during the presentation at the Music House, Challenge, Ibadan, Governor Makinde—represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Otunba Ademola Ojo—commended Ayefele for his resilience and enduring contributions to the media and entertainment industry in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
He said: “On behalf of Governor Seyi Makinde and the Oyo State Government, we are here to commiserate with you. You remain a symbol of perseverance and inspiration to millions of Nigerians. This gesture is a token of support to encourage you to keep pushing forward.”
Ayefele, who was visibly moved by the governor’s intervention, received the keys to the SUV amid gratitude and emotional reflection on the devastating losses caused by the fire.
Governor Makinde had earlier visited the station a day after the incident to personally sympathize with Ayefele and assess the extent of the damage. https://www.facebook.com/100064534426548/posts/pfbid0nxtZCWHiDENWZUUJsPAPHj8RH75TvMcFjPf2X7eMTPZxCWQSTeBjDfibsn6Msf1fl/?app=fbl

Health › My Younger Brother And His Family Ate White Beans & Fell Sick Afterwards(Photo) by MistyDense(op): 1:04pm On Aug 19, 2025 |
Firstly, I want to draw the attention of the moderators and Seun to some of the challenges being experienced while using this forum. I made this post a few minutes ago and I was banned for 30mins. Why?. I don't know till now. What's going on? You guys are destroying this forum. Instead of appreciating the efforts of nairalanders who come up with news and other crucial information to post here, you are rather treating us with disregard. How can you be banning someone who hasn't violated any of your Rules?
Back to the subject now, my younger brother and his family are white Beans on Sunday. And same day, the wife and two of his kids fell sick. The next day, he rushed to the pharmacy to get them drugs and shortly after, he(my brother) also fell ill. At the moment, everyone of them is sick. And I can't fathom why it is so. They usually do not eat white Beans but the Brown/red one. He said he didn't understand why his wife suddenly fell in love with the white beans when they are known for eating only the brown one. Doctors in the house, please would could be the cause of this? And what's the remedy? I have asked him to inform the seller and other people around his neighborhood so that solution can be proferred. I'm actually very worried and disturbed right now because I have heard some very ugly stories about such incidences in the past. I remember how people ate beans, fell sick and died some years back. I also heard how some are carrots and sugarcane, then died later. Some, even oranges.
Could it be the chemical in the beans or what? I thought the chemical only makes someone to stool profusely especially when the beans isn't properly parboiled and washed to eliminate and nullify the chemical. Doctors, please, your suggestions are needed here.

My kid brother just called to inform me that himself, wife and two lovely kids are sick and completely down. Even from his voice, I could notice he was down even before he told me.
He said His wife cooked white Beans on Sunday and they all ate as a family and after eating, the wife fell sick a few hours after. Then later, two of his children age 1 and 3 also fell sick. The next day, he also fell sick. Usually, they don't eat white Beans(according to what he told me) and that he didn't even know why his wife had to go cook white beans when she knows they only eat the Brown type of Beans. |

Health › Re: Why Does Sperm Smell Like Hypo Bleach? (Photos) by MistyDense(op): 8:13am On Aug 19, 2025 |
greygoblings: Semen often has a chlorine-like smell due to its slightly alkaline pH and the presence of certain chemicals like amines. These chemicals contribute to a mild, ammonia-like or bleach-like scent, which is considered normal for healthy semen. Variations in diet and individual body chemistry can also influence the specific odor. Here's a more detailed explanation: Alkaline pH: Semen is slightly alkaline, with a pH level typically between 7.2 and 7.8. This alkaline nature can cause it to smell like ammonia or bleach, which are also alkaline substances. Amines: Semen contains various amines, which are organic compounds that contain nitrogen. These amines contribute to the characteristic smell of semen, which can be similar to bleach or ammonia.
Diet, hydration levels, and individual body chemistry can also affect the smell of semen. For example, certain foods might alter the smell of semen, and some individuals may simply have a more pronounced natural odor. Thanks |

Life is meaningless to me right now. Depression has finished me
I hear you, and I want you to know that what you’re feeling is real and valid. Depression can make life feel heavy, empty, and meaningless, but it doesn’t define your worth or your future. Even in the darkest moments, hope can exist, and healing is possible. You don’t have to face this alone reaching out to someone you trust, a friend, family member, or a mental health professional, can make a difference. Take things one small step at a time and be gentle with yourself. Your life has value, even if it’s hard to see right now, and you deserve care, understanding, and moments of peace. Thank you so much Sir. You've spoken like an elder and father. Pls check notifications |

Omoawoke: When we remember that it’s one big family as black Africans, we will unite and support one another and ignore the countries and aritifical borders created by Berlin conference to divide and conquer Africa Nigerians are never ready to support one another. Everything starts from the little things we refuse to do for one another even when we are in position to help. This largely accounts for why other smaller countries are overtaking us, the supposed Giant of Africa. A Nigerian would rather help a woman than his fellow man, and it must be in public for self-aggrandizement |

This is great from our legend, Didier Drogba, the killer of Arsenal and Arsene Wenger.
You see why people don't really rate Okocha and Maybe, Kanu Nwankwo despite all the football Okocha played?
Nigerians(some) are very terrible people and can never help a fellow brother in times of distress. This is why we are suffering. Okocha would rather promote betking than standing up for a brother. Some Nigerians are just too self-centered and callous.
At this point, I feel there should be a strong union/Association of African footballers in Diaspora which would be led by a President and such president would be an Ex international who is strong figure. Such person should be Able to checkmate some of these harsh treatment being meted to our players in Europe |
