Even if delivery doesn't turn out the way you planned, never let it affect you. Make up your mind to always stay positive.

For those waiting to offload, worry not. The end (and a whole new beginning!) is in sight. While you're waiting for D-day to arrive, think of these last days or weeks as a dress rehearsal for life with baby. Sleepless nights, a little anxiety (or perhaps a lot) and leaky breasts.
Make sure the items in your hospital bag still fit you. The hospital nightgowns you bought at 30 weeks may now be too snug on you.

Want to get labor started on your own? These tricks may help induce labor naturally (ask your doc first!): long walks, sex, acupressure, eating pineapple and dates, climbing stairs, tips stimulation.

I wish you all easy labor and safe delivery!!! No more loss. Baby and mother must come out and stay alive even if na to push baby through nose.

To those who have offloaded, vigilante is realer than ever abi? Hehehehehehe. Try and pop in once in a while, even though its not easy.

I think its best to visit your hospital if you have malaria when preggie. They might not even give your drugs but place you on injections to clear it up quickly. Pele

Abeg do you people remember those unruly kids i complained about that usually scatter my house and give me stress?

One of them almost injured my baby yesterday.

Na me even use my hand find trouble. We sprayed insecticide in our house and because of the smell, i took Hansel to their house.
When i got there, the mum asked to carry Hansel.
One of the kids first of all pushed his bed away and wanted to use it as playmat. I took it away from him.

The next thing, he picked up a big slippers from the floor and threw at Hansel who was on the mum's leg. It barely escaped touching him.
The mum told him to stop jokingly. But my eyes were already on alert cus i know how unruly the kids are.
The next thing he hit Hansel's leg and everybody shouted at him to stop. Hansel started crying.

Just when i was about saying let me take Hansel and leave their place, the boy ran to where the mum is and dragged hansel's cloth very hard. Hansel started screaming. That's when i lost it and didn't know when i slapped him in presence of his mum, took my baby and left their house. I had to breastfeed Hansel to stop him from crying.
The mum felt so ashamed and flogged the boy.
But nothing will make me take Hansel there ever again or even allow those kids come to my house.
She usually brings them to my place when they are crying that they want to stay with me, but e don end.
Because if because of them anything happen to my Hansel, i fit kill person o

In my case, it was strictly God. Never knew everything concerning maternity in Delta State general hospital was FREE until the need arise. Everything was handled well and the theater was well equipped (I have never bin a fan of general hospitals until Mofe's birth).

Are you serious?? My next baby, i must travel home and deliver there o.
The price for CS in my hospital here is killing. They are competent but its just too expensive. Kai!

I did mine in Central hospital, Warri and it was FREE. I only paid for blood (didn't use it and I got a refund) and drugs.

Private hospitals charges up to 180k and even above.

@funmz, it depends on the general hospital. Some charge up to 100k - 150k.

Imagine what happened two nights ago!!!


I finally got a breastpump because breastfeeding Hansel every hour was getting too exhausting for me. I was happy that i can finally rest at night while dh or mil feeds Hansel with the expressed milk.

I expressed 120mls before going to bed. I was happy that Hansel's stomach will be full.

Only for dh to wake me up at night when i was already in cloud 9 that the milk was not enough for Hansel. I got up and saw that some milk was still remaining in the bottle. Dh said Hansel refused to drink it again.

I had to sit up and breastfeed him.

The next day morning...

While i was breastfeeding Hansel, dh was just looking at my bweast and said he didnt know breastmilk was this sweet... Huh?

He said it tastes like sugar. I asked him how he knew. He said he sipped it yesterday after Hansel refused to drink again

How person husband go dey drink e wife breastmilk?

I just weak! Nothing wey person nor go see for this motherhood journey. Lol
