mo2raur:BFP means Big Fat Positive. It means the person is pregnant ![]() |
I hope you all understand that Dangote is not just his name, its also the name of his company. So when people say Dangote Truck, they are referring to his company. |
Akaujaa: ellacute45:MTN has done worse, if we are to follow such rules. I remember one advert they did of some people running a race. The winner was team yellow, while the others who lost were team red and team green, which are the brand colors of Airtel and Glo/Etisalat. So its payback time ![]() |
The best MTN can just do that will really pain Airtel is to to get the same guy and use him in their AD. Just the way Saka was stolen ![]() |
Hahahahaha. That's my talented friend Peter in the AD ![]() |
mompurity2:I think its best you follow your Drs advice and get it done, to avoid any sad story. But for more information on cerclage, just type it in the search box here on Nairaland and search under "Health", you'll see a lot of info on it. Mamas here have trashed the issue so many times. Don't worry, you and your LO will be fine. Our prayers are with you |
lioha:Really? Where did you shop? At the market? |
lamdec:Awesome, that's good to know. Will do one more window shopping at another mall before the actual shopping. Thanks |
Flourish89:I didn't buy o. I only did window shopping. I can't remember if its convertible or not |
To the mamas who complained about Pelvic Girdle Pain, here is what i found that can help relieve the pain which is normal: - Maintain good posture while sitting, standing, or walking. By doing this, you’re making sure the weight is on your two legs, when the weight is on one leg, it will increase the pelvic pain. - When walking, take small steps so that the weight on your pelvis will be even. Wear comfortable shoes instead of heels. - Do kegel exercises to help strengthen your pelvic floor. Breath normally, keep your back still, then work on the muscle you use in urinating. - And if your buttocks become sore, try gluteal stretches, it helps. To do this, sit down, cross one foot over the other knee, gently, knee forward. - If your butt is really sore, apply ice to the sore area. I hope this helps. Happy bumping and vigilante to us all! |
mrsbw:Vigilante is real! Congrats on safe delivery and kisses to your LO. |
Chinwendym:Really? Thats good to know. Its Blenco Mall at Ado road, Ajah. But my problem is they don't have variety. Just a few to select from. Maybe by the time i'm ready to shop, they would have restocked |
Still no update? Wow |
I love your boldness in appreciating your pet irrespective of the breed. But its pics like this, that makes people lose respect and love for our Nigerian breed. The fact that your dog is a Mongrel doesn't mean he/she shouldn't look good and clean or stay in a good environment. This dog obviously needs a bath. Ordinary dog collar sef will transform the look of your dog and make him/her look fantastic. I've seen this breed before at a vet shop and i couldn't believe how pretty it looked because of how the owner pampers and cares for it. Well done anyways ![]() |
So i decided to buy my Pregnacare today and lo and behold, the price has gone up from 5450 to 6000 at Medplus pharmacy They said its dollar rate. God dey sha ![]() I also did some window shopping at Blenco mall in Ajah, just to take a look and see how baby things are sold. Let me not lie, i wanted to experience that feeling of rolling your belle and looking thru baby things, with some envious eyes on you. I was just feeling on top of the world with my baby bump as a first time JJC mama ![]() See the prices of some of the things i saw: Baby socks set of 4 - 1750 Sleepsuit set of 3 - 3200 Baby carrier - 5200 Bodysuit set of 6 sleeveless - 3200 Bodysuit set of 6 with sleeve - 2200 Car seat - 18,500 Bath set - 11,400 Feeding bottle sterilizer - 8800 Philip Avent brand Tomme Tippee feeding bottle - 1200 I guess Wash cloth set of 6 - 1550 Disposable breast pad - 3250 Washable breast pad - 700 Baby blankets - 2500 Breast pump - 11,500 Mamas who have shopped already, please take a look at the list o and let me know if their prices are inflated or fair. Its a bit comfortable shopping there than going to rowdy markets. But i still need to look pocket make i nor overspend when my mates dey buy their own cheap. |
@Mum Chinwendym I don show face o. I'm much better now. Been trying to relax all weekend. How's our fine boy Ekene? Teamies @Christybabe @juliebest Thanks for checking. I'm fine now. I just discovered i have anterior placenta, maybe that is why i can't still feel strong baby kicks till now. I'm really looking forward to it o. @ozycy @destinedmom @rejoice03 Thanks mamas. I'm much better now @HumbledbYGrace where have ya been? Welcome back. Those many pages you have to read is your punishment for going MIA on this thread. @sugah, They now give out E-slaps to mamas who misbehave o. Pls block your eye next time you see pineapple, biko. Don't get carried away that some other mamas eat it and nothing happens. |
Well done Audrey for giving us extra dose! I love the way the story is going. Its only Ivie's death that could have brought Felix to his senses. It really pays to give someone the benefit of the doubt. As for Jessica, don't worry, your madness might be worse than Gio's own. Can't wait for them to all to confess. And Senator Ekwe, please grow some balls and do something. I have a feeling Nkiru might be pregnant sha, but lips sealed until Audrey completes the story. |
AudreyTimms:Audrey, Audrey, Audrey! I'll steal your manuscript o if you give any more pointers. Leave us in suspense jor. I need to report you to your husband ![]() |
Hello mamas, guess what? I woke up without any sign of the pain again. Its completely gone . I finished a bag of satchet water yesterday. I was drinking water like a camel as advised. Doc said he is sure it isn't what i ate. He said as long as the potash was added to a meal and i cooked it, its too insignificant to cause that kind of pain. He said that it might be stress. Is sitting at home all day now stressful? Me i don't understand o. I only went out on Wednesday evening, that's all. Will just be on bedrest till Sunday to relax the body. Thanks mamas. You ladies are the best! |
@all mamas, thanks so much for your concern and advice. I truly appreciate it. Will give update tomorrow and hopefully it'll be positive. For now, lets enjoy our #threadcuties |
zaynie:No o. My doctor is not around and he's the only obgyn in my hospital i trust. I called him and he said as long as i'm not having discharge and my stomach doesn't become very tight and hard when the pain comes, then it isn't contractions. He asked me to take pcm and watch it till morning when he'll be back, to see if it'll subside. |
@raptor2 @cutienik @legitdiva @mumtwins @zaynie @kaffy4bill @flourish89 @brokewaist @ekeminiabasi Thanks all. The pain still hasn't subsided. I've taken about 9 satchets of water. I think i'll just have to head to the hospital. Let me call my doc first to see if he's around. I feel so guilty |
zaynie:Okay. I've taken lots of water and been in bed since morning. Even scared to eat anything yet. They are painful but bearable. I'm just 21 weeks |
ekeminiabasi:I guess you must be #teamjuly right? Please identify o so your name can be added. |
kaffy4bill:Thanks a lot ma'am. I'm loading my stomach with water now |
Ermm lovebirds @kingphilip and @izyyblaze, you guys are somehow derailing Audrey's thread. Don't let captain Jonathan give you guys a fine |
bintudon:I think some mamas take calcium tabs together with the pregnacare that doesn't have calcium in the list. Calcium is extremely important especially in first and second trimester when bones are developing. Except you want to go for Pregnacare Max which contains everything but more expensive |
rejoice03:I've drank two glasses of water this morning. Should i take more? |
mumtwins:I've been eating Owho soup before o. But this time i used large quantity of potash in the soup. I thought it was taking it raw that is bad. Or should i just stop using it totally in all my meals? I feel so bad for doing this to myself |
Morning mamas. I think i have hurt myself again. I made owho soup yesterday and used too much potash. I ate it twice and since then, i've been having serious cramps in the lower part of my belly. Is there anything i can do to diffuse it? |
Hahaha. You just made me remember my own wedding night and how shy we both were. It took me a while to dress up in my husband's presence without hiding in the bathroom. Thank you for writing stories we can relate to ![]() But Nkiru should have known the news will somehow reach her parents now. Why didn't she tell them immediately after the wedding? Chai. I'm just scared for them. Felix and his mum are always a comic relief . Couldn't stop laughing at the birdy nurse. Well done Audrey!By the way, where's KingPhilip's Fiorella? |
Food is ready!!! Let me dive in... Thanks Audrey |
