13 weeks is not just o mama. Almost all mamas are instructed to start ANC at 12weeks latest. I don't really think you should wait that long.

Just found out i'm having a boy!!! I've actually been praying for a girl. I'm the only girl in the midst of 6 brothers and never had a sister. I thought i'll finally be having a cute little girl, but turns out its a boy. Saw his tiny little peepee
My dh is so excited that he won. It'll be my turn next time. Na 1 - 0 for now. At least now i can pick names and start shopping.

I think before you start taking any drugs, you should see a doc first. Everyone's case is not the same. So it wouldn't be wise for us to tell you exactly what to take right now. But the most important drug is folic acid, which you ought to have been taking once daily before you even got pregnant.
But see a doc first with your scan result and then proceed. Its safer that way

Okay will try that. Milk was actually the chief cause of my nausea and i stopped taking it some months back out of fear of my nausea returning.

And yes, we are now halfway gone. Sometimes when i look back at how i suffered severe morning sickness during first trimester, i just can't believe i'm the one here counting 5 months too with other mamas. It's been Jehovah God all the way and his undeserved favour.

@Mitchyy My dear, my SIL carried her Pringles spitting container until her EDD . You that have been through 5months would scale through . For heartburn, I am still battling with it, but all I do is take enough water (and I mean ENOUGH WATER,I can't stress this part enough. I do a bag of pure water in less than 5days) and also reduce spicy food intake.

Spitting till EDD? Wow. I'm in soup!

For the heartburn, i even drink water more than a camel. I finish one bottle of dispenser in about a week, to tell you how much water i drink. I think its the spicy food then like you said. I dey always pack pepper full my food. Will try to reduce it now. Thanks a lot for the advice

my dear I've seen worst than this most of the problems are from the husband. I have see women that cus there hubby dont treat them well he is been so hard and harsh they hard no option than to fall out of love. sometimes we don't know what lead to this insane act. try to find out how a husband and wife live if there is peace or not. if the wife own is folo come. its just not as we see it.

I agree with you but no matter how bad your wife or husband is, its not an excuse to look outside your marital home. If it's that bad, seek for a divorce and then start looking outside.
As long as you're married, you just have to respect it becos no sensible person will pat you on the back for flirting or cheating on your husband or wife

She is probably speaking for the few decent married women who still battle with advances from men.
Of course we all know there are so many shameless married women who flirt or encourage advances from men. Same way there are also some shamless men who try to hit on women.
The most important thing here is when someone hits on you and you are married, how do you respond that very moment? How you respond will either encourage him/her or send him away.

@OP your friend who says a man keeps coming to buy things from her store just to get her attention, she is actually encouraging the man. So she cannot stop him from coming to her store abi? Or she cannot inform her husband about it so he can take appropriate action? She also cannot inform her bank to prevent the man from making transfers to her account?

You made it sound as though the married women are innocent of your allegations, for your informations, I have married women stalking me even when they know of my marital status. But to answer your question most of the married women postures don't represent that of a married woman some are to be taking for run girls in appearance and attitudes, sometimes I wonder if their husbands don't complain.

I've told my husband to warn one of his friend who keeps trying to touch me when talking. Even though others feel its harmless but na from clap, dance dey start. Others will see you with ring and be trying to offer favors which they term harmless. I don't joke with such o. And my husband knows. Sometimes he feels i'm overreacting but almost every lady can tell when a guy is hitting on her, so i give them a nasty warning immediately and they back off.

Welcome to the preggo thread. This is my first time to hear a doc prescribed a brand of prenatal drug. Most of them insist you take the routine drugs given to you at ANC. Haven't heard about Ranferon12 before. Other mamas who have can give you feedback

Usually, docs give you folic acid, fesolate, calcium and bcomplex immediately you're confirmed pregnant or they let you take pregnacare that contains folic acid. But since you're on progesterone supplement, maybe that is why he's giving you just folic acid rather than adding the others.
You can decide to take your pregnacare after the 12weeks mark. For now, i suggest you load up your system with iron-rich foods and lots of veggies. Happy bumping dear

You're not derailing, all na preggo-related question. Staying away from sex during the 2ww is what i believe led to my pregnancy after trying unsuccessfully for some few months. So yes, i think it can hinder conception in some cases
