For all those who criticise Mikel, this is the game where you need him.
He never loses the ball and almost always completes his passes.
I cannot count how many times Essien has given the ball away. And I have been complaining about this for about 10 games.
Why does he try to run with the ball when he can keep things simple.

So far, that is my only complaint. Well apart from that moment of horror from Bosingwa.
same thing i have bin sayin, essien loses d ball too much,we nid kalou in dis game,n i dnt know y dd n torres dnt want to cooperate

Fifa to allow Frank Lampard's World Cup goal for England v Germany as part of new 'retroactive goal-line technology' review system

Football's governing to body use state-of-the-art software to predict eventual outcome of matches that have been marred by inferior officiating

England were handed a major World Cup boost today as Fifa announced plans to introduce retroactive goal-line technology for all major tournaments.

Fifa president Sepp Blatter gave the green light to implementing a system from April 1 onwards saying that it will "not only ensure controversial, disputed goal-line decisions never happen again - but those that have taken place in the past will be settled once and for all".

The head of football's governing body added: "This decision will put right the many wrongs caused by poor goal-line decisions."

The move means that Frank Lampard's wrongly-disallowed goal in England's 4-1 defeat to Germany at the 2010 World Cup will now stand.

Lampard's chip had comfortably crossed the line after striking the underside of the crossbar when England were 2-1 down, but Uruguayan referee Jorge Larrionda waved play on.

Fifa's newly appointed head of goal-line technology and retro-active implementation Flora Pilo explained: "We have reviewed the decision and have given the goal to England.

"We then used a programme based on state-of-the-art technology provided by the makers of Championship Manager to simulate what would have happened had England levelled the score at 2-2 and the final score is now 5-2 to Germany.

Ms Pilo added: "In our simulation England begin the second half throwing men forward and Germany score three more goals on the break - so not much different to what actually happened in Bloemfontein, but this is fairer

"All Fifa records will be amended accordingly and the legacies of these nations will be rewritten in the best traditions of fairness that Fifa have always upheld."

The German FA (DFB) are furious at the decision but said 'they eagerly await results of the review of the 1966 World Cup final'.

Happy April Fool's Day

Utomi quits presidential race

The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Mega Party, Prof. Pat Utomi, on Wednesday withdrew from the race over the inability of position parties to adopt a single contestant.

Utomi, who confirmed his decision to THE PUNCH on the telephone, said, “Yes, I’ve withdrawn. I withdrew today.”

His decision came as a shock to Nigerians, especially as he had on Tuesday participated in the debate organised by the Nigeria Election Debate Group in Abuja alongside three other candidates.

do the christians find fault in Islam?

absolutely; they complain we do not have a system of salvation, as if something must be killed before mercy descends from the Creator Who forgave Adam and his mate without spilling any blood.
see,i dnt find faults in things,i look for gud tins in tins,nw lets take a look at the thread, your first reply

@OP; if you are serious about knowing the truth about who satan was before he became 'devlish/satanic', the acts that made him so, read the Quran. if you want a faith that has good and sound clear answers, Islam is it.

You only have to goggle who Iblis is. Who Shaytan is. What was he made of. Surah Baqarah, Araf, Kahf are three chapters among others to guide you. I can answer what everyone have been waffling and trying to avoid, including the no answer provided by Jesoul. Its better to do your own research of the Quran and come out with personal knowledge.

now, what i see here is just an attempt to make the poster think,"oh,it seems dis religion(xtian) is nt it o,ageg islam is the one and only confirmed religion" n before u abuse me,dats just wat i see

now, comin to the salvation part, its possible u av argued with oda xtians abt this issue countless tyms ,but dat doesnt mean everyone thinks like dat,i av come to accept islam as much i accept christianity,i know some of my fellow xtain brodas feel muslims av to come to jesus and d salvation stuff, but all God wants to see first is your heartt and both religions teach almost same thing in terms of treatin ur neighbor,at least we worship one God and we beleive there is one God too,so lets forget,u r for Jesus and i am For muhamed or Allah,PEACE IS D WAY FORWARD,

Ode to President Goodluck Jonathan:

Oh President Goodluck Jonathan--what a lucky man you are indeed!

After watching the movie "MatchPoint"--(starring Scarlett Johanssen
directed by Woody Allen-- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0416320/
I came to the conclusion that the best prayer one can wish for
a new born baby especially if one is is limited to just one prayer is this
one:

May your sojourn in life be met with good luck no matter where ,when
and which ever endeavour you wish to pursue at any stage of your life. Amen

With good luck on your side you have everything you might have ever need in life.

Good luck covers all facets of human needs and wants; it makes up for all your errors
and imperfections or at least makes sure no one notices them:

Health--with good luck on your side you are able to avoid most disease causing
germs and agents; you avoid all forms of accidents--always two to three minutes
in front or behind the motor vehicle collisions ranging from minor fender benders
to fatal ones.

Wealth--with good luck on your side money is never too far away from you--never too
little that you could want for anything substantial and never too much as to get
you into trouble.

Family--with good luck on your side, the bad girl friends/boyfriends either dump you or you dump them before things start getting serious--even before you know they are bad for you. This ensures that you end up marrying the girl or boy of your dreams who is perfect for you. With good luck, the children who will create trouble for your family end not being born!

Education--with good luck on your side, even when you are not that bright you end being accepted to the course you might excel in even without you knowing it.

Career: with good luck on your side you end up getting the jobs with best prospects
for promotions.
Even when seemingly unqualified or even at its extreme grossly incompetent to accomplish the task hand, the good luck charm ensures that the more competent folks either do not show up for the job interview or when they do show up they make the most egregious mistakes. Some of them end up choosing the wrong partners.

Law enforcement: with good luck on your side even when you or a member of your family commits any offence--minor or serious, the stars line up in away to ensure that you are exonerated even by the one who accused you of committing the offence in the first instance.

Oh Goodluck Jonathan- what a lucky man you are indeed!

and mind you am not in support of the man,the question is ARE U AS LUCKY AS DIS MANhuh?? grin grin grin grin tongue tongue tongue
