OGHENAOGIE: man AJ ll still earn more this things would have been signed before the fight takes place...Aj ll still earn more in d rematch
Thank you my brother, some people no sabi boxing. Someone here even said here that's how can someone who lost gets more pay , I just dey laff. AJ will earn more in the rematch for sure
Cityfirstborn: That's how deals are done, wat do you expect, his 4 titles were at stake here so his manager got the best deal which is understandable . In the rematch even if ruiz lose he will get much money than Aj. You don't put your title on the line and expect small package. The match was never scripted
Blazebond: The reason why wilder and fury didn't get to beat joshua first was because of greed from Joshua's camp, you can't possibly expect wilder or fury to take crap money from a heavyweight fight with Joshua, if joshua had agreed to a forty percent of fourty-five percent cut for either Tyson fury or Wilder, we would have seen those fights since last year, and y'll screaming the fight was fixed should please shut up,ruiz will beat joshua again if there is a rematch.
Hating on Liverpool , now hating on joshua, brother you hate people progressing ooo
Eyedea: It was fixed because AJ is Nigerian if it was another person now they won't say it was fixed. This Ruiz guy has only lost one fight in about 33 so stop bïtching.
Won 32 no belt, The other mumu won 4G something 1belt, Fight pass fight ooo. Do you know how many belt fury got at 25 boxing match, brother make we leave talk sha. Well I don't think the match was fixed, I just don't want to bliv it , the match take as e b all through 4rm round one , Joshua was not Joshua in his past matches , too slow , I mean too slow compare to his other fight, I don't even think he won any round sef. I think something is wrong, even his look coming to the ring sef look somehow. But I still don't think the match was fixed, but I felt something is wrong. That ruiz box well , na good boxer
Freehuman: Everyone talking about heavyweight boxing and muscles is clueless about combat sports. That was in nowhere a weightlifting or bodybuilding show, it was a main event boxing match. It's like you talking about football, 6 packs is just for show and not to score goals in boxing it's for aesthetics and apart from that has no other use. Well WWE has created the impression that muscular athletes are better.
Muscles is very bad in combat sports it sucks up your gas tank and leaves you completely disorganised in the long run. If a muscular athlete meets a well balanced flat athlete, the muscular athlete has two options which are to either finish off the match early or get disgraced later on because of stamina and endurance.
Tyson was muscular and a beast but the first time he lost was when he fought pass the 5th round, Douglas knocked him out on the 7th round. Your WWE muscular Brock Lesnar has always been disgraced at the UFC constantly by an obesed Looking Cain. To be a good fighter a boxer needs an iron chin, stamina ,technique, destroyer psychology and fearful demeanor. Joshua can boast of only technique which is not enough, he lacks the rest because he is more of a boxer who has worked hard to earn everything he has earned. The rest of qualities like iron chin, stamina destroyer psychology and fearful demeanor can't be bought. They come with talent, a boxer is born with it.
Mayweather lacked talent, was also a hard worker but he was a political boxer, he would lose if he fought outside the US. Joshua's promoters and management knew this but Joshua had become the face of the sport, the one who gets all the endorsements and ambassadorship. More than 10 million women in Europe and North America would pay anything to sleep with Joshua, they sexualize his social media pages always making advances, Joshua is a fine boy.
Joshua influenced, like that, became a Class fighter with finesse, a classic British Gentleman adorned with the highest award in United Kingdom at the age of 29. He wouldn't cheat a bit or play the boxing of politics and left his yard in UK to a place were foreign champions are disgraced, the USA. As a hardworker, you are clueless, you need to train differently for each fight. The short notice to fight Ruiz when "big baby" had failed doping test was also a factor . His long term training was for Miller and not Ruiz.
Wilder has talent and doesn't work hard on his technique. The only balanced boxer is the "Gypsy King" Tyson Fury, with a technique that is out of this world, he survived a 12 round hook from Wilder. Not up to 5 people in this world would survive that. He beat Klitchscho in Ukraine and drew with Wilder (though he was cheated) in the US. He has that demeanor and psychology game.
Well, having watched many generations of boxers at ESPN Classic channel, I can say that Joshua may end up as the greatest Boxer of all time, only Mohammed Ali will be compared with him.
The last paragraph got me, I don't understand you well there
Punishment1: I'm glad that AJ got exposed for being a hypejob. He's always been a stiff, robotic fighter with a glass chin, and tonight proved it. If that was Wilder hitting AJ, he would have DIED.
Wilder should have ruiz b4 AJ na. He can't fight he got 4 belts na beans, wilder will kill wilder will kill he only got 1 belt, wilder sick or get typhoid ni when AJ won those belt gradually
valacious: The sudden change of opponent also caused this loss. As a champ you need enough time to study your opponent...also Joshua likes dragging fights to four five rounds in other to make fans enjoy their spend before finishing off his opponents, this too backfired. Joshua can also be too nice in the ring.. I wish him luck for the rematch. His demands just dropped with Wilder. He also doesn't appear psychologically fit for this fight.
bentwood85: please remove wilder's name from that list... He is not a good boxer..
My brother God go bless you, that wilder na trash, na just foul blow after that nothing, no technic at all. Ruiz is a good , very good counter puncher. I don't think the match is fixed, but still think something is wrong with AJ, even before getting into the ring
ayufun: He's actually afraid to fight Deontay Wilder before now and this is expected to boost his confidence to fighting Wilder. But now, I can only do hmm hmm...
Forget that wilder thing joor, where was he when AJ dey pack those belt, that guy no too Sabi joor, him blow reach David Tua blow, This same guy parker no beat am, boxing ain't like that. This Wan beat AJ clean clean accepted. Make AJ wilder fight first na. Even this AJ match you see can't stake on ruiz, you know that . Oliver beat Lewis na, same as raman, Ali sef Wan beaten. After their loss did their career end . Na one person go beat you na , u can't always win. This ruiz sef sabi well, very good counter puncher, very good . That wilder ehn, nothing technical about his fight, na this foul blow like mumu. Make wilder fight the two before you start judging AJ I beg
Jaqenhghar: Then you dont know combat sports. No one stays unbeaten. Israel too will get beaten eventually. Just a a matter of time. I predict it will be sooner than later
goldenarrow: Yes he should have stabilized himself rather than rush to follow up on the knockdown. He was having the Klitschko match on his mind. He forgot that he stabilized before he got Klitschko out. Let's hope he comes back better.
goldenarrow: Joshua underestimated Ruiz He was busy doing Youtube videos while Ruiz was training. He was deceived by Ruiz physique He thought Ruiz lost to Parker who was beaten by himself. Ruiz was only robbed against Parker. Joshua was doing physique building rather than boxing stamina and skills training. EOD.
nanakgh: Mohammed Ali said ' Even the greatest gotta suffer sometimes'. All the great champs lost. Granted this is a shocker, but AJ's response to this will show if he truly has the grit and never give up attitude of a real champion. Better luck to him next time. He was fighting a shorter boxer with devastating power. Game plan should av changed after the 3rd but lessons learned, I think.
I really love this comment, i fear for his career now ooo
alt3r3g0: Na real wa. Seems Joshua lost focus trying to finish the guy quick after he knocked the guy down and once the guy knocked him down twice soon after it was the begining of the end.
I didn't watch tillround 4, I think that's what happened. Was obsessed by wilder first round knockout to breazle, I think he wanted to do that too, he lost focus
