Your idiocy has no grade.Yorubas are more than 40 million and they marry themselves most than marrying from another tribe because of the natural intelligence gifted to the Yoruba race.Secondly,Yoruba men are the'bomb' and they have been mobbed even by whites and it is on record that they married and still marrying whites more than any tribe in Nigeria.I even learnt one Yoruba Angel married a Royal in Europe recently. It is mostly Igbo girls falling 'heels over' to marry Yoruba guys and because we like varieties and even follow the tenets of christianity,we are giving the Igbo girls 'a chance' to taste the sweetness of Yorubaness.Remember your girls are the one coming to the SW looking for Yoruba guys and there is one very strong reason a Yoruba girl will find it hard marrying an Igbo guy but with time that reason is gradually crumbling.

And because of iboness, that ibo man refused to punish the sadistic and bloodthirsty killers, he did not even slap them on the wrist even though the standard and global punishment for what they did was death.

The North was indeed patient because they gave the military led by Ironsi the ibo man the opportunity to do the needful by punishing the killers and seditionists, but the ibo head of state was playing tribalism and refused to punish his ibo kinsmen so the North designed their own form of punishment, hence the pogrom in the North.

ibo people by nature cannot differentiate between right and wrong because they see tribe and tribalism 1st before anything and sadly, same is still the case today and this very second.

They are hard learners and they don't learn from their hystory.

Igbos are tribalistic and only see tribe in anything, yet from your profile your last 5 topics on Nairaland has been about Igbos. My God! Why are you people so obsessed with Igbos? You suffer from extreme inferiority complex.

There's nothing you can do about it. You ll keep on buying and buying and buying and buying.....and buying.

It's an addiction. Soon, you ll begin to hide your buying from your husband. You ll tell yourself it's not too much. You can't have enough.
You ll convince yourself your subsequent kids can use them too.

One day you ll look at your buy
baby clothes stashed in a wardrobe sorry bibs, blankets and swaddles and think of a thousand things you could have bought with that money.
You just can't stop. Don't even bother.

You understand the struggle grin it seems like you are talking from experience o grin Now I order online and hide the cartons from my husband. I think I have enough, I will stop.

I have been cured of my addiction to Aden&Anais (I only have one unopened pack of blankets). And you will reuse those blankets, they're quite durable. They are a bit big for swaddling but you can make it work. It's also pretty good for Naija weather. I'll bet the United Association of Mummies around you are all lugging their Sophie Giraffes in Skip Hop bags, right?

Imurboss, Medela manual breastpump is quite good, you may need to change the valve and don't boil the flange too much. http://nefescorner..com/2017/07/milking-it-for-all-youre-worth.html

Lol, you got it right abt Sophie and the Skip Hop bags too. Thanks dear, I feel much better now. It's my first baby so I will still use them.

I tried rice & banana, oats & prune, mixed grain with fruit flavour, no way. I want to blend cooked carrots, potatoes & peas this evening and try.

Hello mamas, I'm currently freaking out here o. My 6 month old son is going to have his circumcision next week, he could not have it done at birth because d doctors thought he might have hypospadias, but he does not. This circumcision is going to involve general anesthesia not local one like he would have used if it was done at birth. Abeg, who has done circumcision this late to put my mind at ease?!!

Good morning mama's, my 3weeks old dd Is finding it hard to poo could dis be as a result of colic. She also seems to be having catarrh please what can I do nd he can I cure d colic. Please help a ftm.

My ds had catarrh and constipation at 3 weeks too. I used a nasal aspirator (hydrasense) to suck the mucus out of his nostrils and he was fine. As for stooling, breastfed babies don't stool very often, the consistency of the poo is more important. Mine had very hard stool like lumps which even had streaks of blood in it, very hard for him to pass, poor boy. His pediatrician asked me to put half teaspoonful of brown sugar in his bottle and it worked. I use brown sugar anytime I feel he might be getting constipated again. If she is breastfed, you can take some fruits and then feed her, learnt it works too. I don't think it's advisable to insert anything in her anus for now, you might do something wrong. She is still very tender.

Pls between similac and enfamil which one is better?
Nb: my Lo is ok with both, but I just want to stick to the better option.

Cc: MamaOO, Alphahandmaiden, Liftedhands, Onegai, Helovesme, Zaynie, Soonest, iOmoge2 any mama with reviews pls.

I give ds Enfamil A+ but that's only because it was what he was given at the hospital when he was born so I decided to continue with it. He had constipation once when he was a month old and I thought of changing but his pediatrician advised me not to. It passed and so far ds has been fine with it.
I even have some free samples of Similac and I plan to try them when he is up to 6 months.

hello mamas.. ..I am a ftm.. I ll resume my 9 to 5 work nxt week and i must say, i am not prepared at all.. i am agitated leaving my lo (3mths) in d creche at such tender age.. I am even thinking of getting a nanny to take care of him at home.. wch one is better? my LO is both on breastmilk n formula..
I am so worried dat i am contemplating resignation.. Please , i need ur advice .. thk u

Hi, I'm a ftm too. I had to put my son in a dayhome at 2 weeks old because I'm in school and want to finish my program on time without any extensions. What I did was give him formula to take during the day and breastfeed him only at night. He is doing fine, he will soon be four months old. His care provider spoils him even, and he is always excited to see her. I don't regret my decision one bit. My studies is going fine and my supervisor even nominated me for two conference trips. I couldn't be happier and my baby is happy too. Its better than bringing in a random nanny into your home. Its a difficult decision but you won't regret it. Abi no be your pikin go chop the salary.

MamaOO:

My baby had all you mentioned plus more: dry skin, cradle cap that terrorized me (it was BAD!!!!), eela that scrapped all his hair, plus baby eczema (he will scratch and scratch!) What helped a bit was Aveeno Oatmeal bath (calmed his skin flares down a bit) and also Aquaphor.

But all these just kept his skin condition at bay, if I stop for one day or two, it will come back with a vengeance! At a point I got desperate and asked my sister to buy me agbo when she's coming to the US. I was that desperate. I don't give him to drink o. I just bathe him with it everyday. I don't towel him after and just slither on Aquaphor immediately. Before the water dries off his skin. And in two weeks his skin became clear! And I have even stopped using the steroids his ped prescribed him for his skin. If you have anybody coming from Naija just have them bring it for you and pray that the overzealous USCIS or what they call them in Canada don't seize it.

In the meantime you can buy the big tub of Aquaphor. I think it's $22USD on Amazon. Use it morning and night. Then stop bathing him everyday. Bathe him at most 3times a week. Cos bathing then all the time strips their already dry skin of the oils needed for moisturizing. His pediatrician told me to stop bathing him everyday. Get the. aveeno Oatmeal bath too and use it to make a paste and slather it in his skin before bath. Put some in his bath water too.

Thanks very much. I will get the Aveeno oatmeal bath. He also had a little cradle cap which I removed with vaseline and gentle brushing. He scratches alot too. I will also consider bathing him every other day.

Cetaphil is very good for dry skin. My Lo developed very dry skin which started scaling too. Cetaphil or aquaphor were prescribed for it. My elder Sis swears by cetaphil for dry skin, but the only issue is its a bit pricy in the long run.
I tried aquaphor and after the $6 tube only lasted us for 2days, I just jejely went and brought out my Shea butter, coconut oil and mixed them together very well and that's our own perfect brand for dry skin since then.

I think they (Eucerin, Cetaphil, Aquaphor) all get the job done, pediatricians just pencil down their different individual preferences.

You might really want to reduce the quantity of soap you use when bathing your Lo if you bath more than once a day.

Thanks very much. I bathe him just once a day. I got the Cetaphil for 14cad which is cheaper than the Eucerin I bought for 22cad so I think I will stick with it.

Hello lovely mamas, pls assist me. I'm an ftm, its just me, hubby and baby o, no mum or mil to assist me here. Ds has very dry skin, I took him to the paediatrician and was told to use eucerin and bathe him with very little soap. I had already ordered for Cetaphil, I have bought the eucerin but plan to use the cetaphil when it finishes because the on the eucerin it says avoid contact with eyes and ds rubs his face and eyes a lot.

Please who has used Cetaphil baby wash and shampoo and Cetaphil moisturizing oil, is it very good for dry skin. We are in Alberta, Canada and the weather here is extremely dry.

Sorry about your delay. But looking at your application from an UNEMOTIONAL and PRACTICAL point of view, 6.1m in your sponsors account was waaaay too small. If you boost up that account to not less than 10m and apply again, you have 99.99% chance of getting your trv.

It has nothing to do with Pgd or masters admission, I got my trv at first attempt with a one year Pgd in a PRIVATE career college. The long wait is annoying but try again.

Sis, yours was a transit. Hers is a break in the trip so she would probably need a visa. Usually, if you don't have a visa for another country (that requires a visa from your country), you can not use that country as a DEPARTURE.

If hers is ONE straight ticket to Vancouver, she would select her seats at once.

Transit is different please oo. There is no break in your itinerary that's why it's called transit.

I think it depends more on if she intends to leave the airport. I was not able to select my seat on the aircanada flight from Frankfurt to Toronto until I received my boarding pass at Frankfurt.

If you don't have a visa for Germany or Shengen and your agent did that kind of booking for you, i should fight him/her (lol). If otherwise, Condor is a good airline in Europe (from my experience) so no worries.

I came through Frankfurt, he does not need a Schengen visa as long as he is in transit.
