Yes, I included a reference letter from my organisation, no I did not include my personal bank statement.

Thank you for your time.

JustMellow:

Did you demonstrate your employment situation and did your sponsor show any commitment from the presented funds and how much was committed. Also, did you include your POF as a mature or gainful earner?

Financial availability is not assessed based on the sitting bank balance but by the actual commitment made towards the intent. Landed properties are not POF or demonstrate financial availability, strength, or sufficiency.

Best of Luck

Hello JustMellow,

My sponsor is my dad and he had paid my first year, as well as the acceptance fee. He is a civil servant and there was no lump sum.

JustMellow:

Hello MJ1000,

Give more information about your sponsor and the commitment made, employment situation, monthly income, and was there any lump sum deposit? This will allow people to assist with information.

From a presumed point of view, it seems you have dispersed inflows and/or sudden deposits.

Best of Luck

Hello Makano,

I am currently working on all of that.

Fees is about 35,000CAD .

The sponsor had a 25m closing balance and a fixed deposit of 20m. Landed property as well with valuation.

makano:
Hello MJ

Based on what you have shown as your finances they believe that spending the amount of money on your proposed course would not be reasonable. You will need to explain why you are spending so much on the said course, the Visa Officer may feel you have the said course also in your home country, so why not study in your home country which will be way cheaper compared to studying the course in Canada which is way too expensive...

So it's your duty to state why you are spending so much to study this course, dwell on the importance of studying this course to your career, and also the benefits the course offers in your home country after the completion of the proposed program..

Also, what were your tuition + living cost, and how much proof of finance did you declare.

Peace

School is 35,000CAD, 2-year program.
my dad was my sponsor.
Yes, he does.

Okay, thank you.

Gift212:
How much was your school fees plus living expenses? one or 2 year course? Also, who's your sponsor to you? Does he/she have other dependants? Maybe the VO factored how much of the sponsor's earnings and other responsibilities compared to the amount needed for study and thought it modest.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by MJ1000: 8:44pm On Dec 09, 2021
My sponsor had 25m closing balance and fixed deposit of 20m. Landed property as well.

feistymikey:
Well, “Modest” means little or not enough. So I think this means the funds you have available won’t be enough to cover your tuition and living expenses:

Hello Everyone,

After waiting since August GCMS note is finally out.

Kindly assist with your interpretation, I was refused based on 'Personal assets and financial status" by our popular VO AH0389

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by MJ1000: 1:06pm On Nov 19, 2021
Omg , so sorry about this. I was really rooting for you.
Please don’t let it get to you. Order Gcms notes and apply . It would definitely end in praise

My good people of this platform, God, has done it oooooooo: PPR has landed.

Both emails came in at 6:35 and 6:38 AM, respectively. I never knew it could be that early.

WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOESN'T EXIST.

I'll return to share my experience as I am still very much overwhelmed with Joy right now.

Hello,
Please can you share a screenshot of the reason in GCMS notes. So we compare that as well.

Viewoliver:
I just noticed that this same number (AH03849) is tagged as "Created by" in my Gcms note which I ordered in June immediately after my first refusal. I was refused for personal assets and financial status.
I guess this particular VO (AH03849) handles most Nigerian applications.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by MJ1000: 9:48pm On Oct 29, 2021
Still awaiting my GCMS note, so I'm yet to re-apply.

However, this is the same exact reason in "dfutbolar" notes

Na wa for this VO.

KellyKk:

Yes generic is personal assets and financial status .
Do you have the same reason has expatiate in my notes too?
And how are u be able to tackle it ?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by MJ1000: 9:28pm On Oct 29, 2021
It's almost as if this VO copies and pastes the same reason for everyone after refusing based on "personal assets and financial assets"

KellyKk:

I think there is no other likely concern aside from what it’s stated in my note sir .

Pls can u point out other likely ones . I will attach the note again

Please when did you request your GCMS notes?

tyscott99:
Hi Guys,

I was delayed in August 2021 due to below reason which after I requested for my GCMS note;
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status

Just arrived and As expected, I had lump sum towards the end, Just one Fund (4m) that I never explained in my SOP.
I knew that was the reason...

By God's grace, I will nail it this time as I've learnt my lesson.
In my first attempt, I never mentioned Fund in my SOP at all... I thought I had it all planned, but I found this trend 3 months after submission.
Many lessons found here guys.

Thanks all...

this is new! Cos I had emailed the MP of my school and the assistant responded in less than 10 mins asking for my details which I shared with him, he responded 20mins later telling me that he has sent an inquiry to IRCC and if I don’t get an email from him in 2days I should follow up. The next day I got my PPR, two days after I got a response from him saying that My study permit was approved since June 25th but I got PPR on July 16th. I think the email from the MP reminded IRCC to issue my PPR.

Hello
Please what province?

Omiinii:
Come on you're way past processing time. YOUR agent probably on crack. You should raise webforms and email to the Nairobi office. Inform them of your plight and they should respond accordingly. I think they've forgotten your case file sef. If nothing works to expedite your request. You should mail your MP.

Thank you, I will do just that.

EmeeNaka:
Embassy can't Refuse your study permit application because you sent them mail. Sending them mail and Webform is the best thing to do in your case.
Also, you can contact a Member of Parliament of Canada representing the constituents where you school is, ask him to help you expedite the process.
The Admission you got that time, did you differ it? Remember they would not make use of the old MyBankStatement you Submitted since December. Though they will ask for it when they need it.
I feel there is something you didn't read well in your GCMS notes that's holding your application. Check it thoroughly.

Thank you for your response Emeka.

I will do just and also contact a member Member of the Parliament of Canada representing the constituent in BC.
I did not defer my admission, i started my classes inline in April 2021, and I'm currently in my second semester.
Is there a way i can forward you the GCMS notes?

Hello everyone, I’m new here.

I will appreciate the assistance of the guru’s in the house.

Submitted my application: November 19 2020
Request for NSE : December 15 2020.

I agreed to go through the NSE route and submitted my proof of fund and ILETS.

From December last year till date I do not have any update from embassy.

I ordered my GCMS note Medicals , criminality and Info sharing are all passed. However, my eligibility is blank.

I have told my agent I would like to send a reminder mail to the embassy but she’s advising against it saying it might lead to rejection.

Please assist me with your advice.
