The people selected by a terrorist group to represent them in dialogue are usually not far from the sponsors of the terrorist group.
Members of the team include Henry Odein Ajumogobia SAN (Rivers); Bismark Rewane (Delta); Sen. Florence Ita-Giwa (Cross River); Timipa Jenkins Okponipere (Bayelsa); Ibanga Isine (Akwa Ibom); Ledum Mitee (Rivers); and Lawson Omokhodion (Edo State)
At least I know one or two of these people so well, I don't think they have business with sponsoring terrorism
PoliticsMEND Sets Up Team To Dialogue With Federal Government Over Niger Delta Crisis by MKO4ever(op): 12:23pm On Jun 13, 2016
The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) on Sunday announced the formation of 'Aaron Team 2' to dialogue with the Federal Government on the immediate, medium and long-term future of the Niger Delta region.

In a statement signed by its spokesman, Jomo Gbomo, the group said the move followed useful exploratory discussions held with high-ranking officials of the current administration.

Members of the team include Henry Odein Ajumogobia SAN (Rivers); Bismark Rewane (Delta); Sen. Florence Ita-Giwa (Cross River); Timipa Jenkins Okponipere (Bayelsa); Ibanga Isine (Akwa Ibom); Ledum Mitee (Rivers); and Lawson Omokhodion (Edo State).

MEND noted that on countless occasions in the past 10 years of the group's existence, it had taken up arms against the Nigerian state and the international oil companies with a view to bringing to national and international attention, the pitiable paradox of the Niger Delta region............

Christianity EtcRe: Igbo Woman From Enugu Converts To Islam by MKO4ever(m):
malvisguy212:
Anyone who has read the Qur'an very well and know the lifestyle of muhammed will not make such choice. The Qur’an is based completely on the personal experiences of one illiterate man
spanning a period of 23 years.Only one person allegedly saw the “angel.” Only one person allegedly heard a voice. The entire faith is limited to one book with only one person who allegedly received the vision. There is absolutely no way to verify anything. Our question is, “Does not this then mean that the only way to become a Muslim is to take this one man’s word for it?” Man let alone will always chose death rather than life.
And the illiterate man wrote the book that up till now no one has been able to amend, alter or find fault in.
Unlike our dear bible that came from God and Holy spirit, yet full of contradictions and almost every word in the book had either been removed, altered or changed to mean a totally different thing.
Why is it so difficult for our people to think?

The north sees southwest muslims as second class muslims.

come to Abuja and see how many Yoruba mosques exists.

I leave close to one in Wuse 2.

got talking with Abdul a core muslim from Kano one afternoon on Friday, he said he was going to mosque and wanted me to shift my car.

I said shift my car when the mosque is just down the road.

He said he cant go to a Yoruba mosque....I said whats the ish with it. He said he just cant go there.

that thing puzzles me till today.

In fact I keep wondering why we have Yoruba mosque in the first place.

that is segregation

can any core muslim educate me please. why are Yoruba and Edo muslims very civil
Your friend Abdul from kano state only understands Hausa and probably a bit of English
If he goes to Yoruba mosque, how will he understand the preaching (in yoruba) when he doesn't speak Yoruba?
This is different from someone leaving in Surulere and has to travel miles to Canaanland for Church services when there are dozens thousand other churches around Surulere

What's the fuss about this feast fast. If I skip just a meal everyday must I tell the whole world about it? Eat before 5am skip lunch and eat triple my afternoon ration by 6:30 of same day. That's feasting.
My brother
Fasting is more than just starving
Remember you also will not drink water or anything
You cannot even smoke
And more than anything else,
The idea of Ramadan is to use the month to cultivate self-discipline that you'll keep practicing the rest of the year. In that sense, think of Ramadan as a spiritual detox instead of feasting as you think.

Christianity EtcRe: Contradictions Analyzed:bible And Quran. by MKO4ever(m): 11:31am On Jun 07, 2016
malvisguy212:
The Bible is not simply one book compiled by one man as the Muslims
claim for their Qur’an, but a compilation
of 66 books,
written by more than 40
authors, over a period of 1500 years! For that reason Christians have always
maintained that the entire Bible shows
the imprint of human hands. Evidence of this can be found in the variety of
human languages used, the varying
styles of writing, the differences in the
author’s intellects and temperaments. Thought the muslims claimed the quran is sent down from heaven but there are MANY verses show the imprint of human hand in it.
Depending on the type of bible you are talking about
While it is generally and universally confirmed that there is only one quran
We know that Catholic bibles have 73 books
The protestants bibles have 66 books
The catholic bibles preceeded the protestant bibles
Therefore 7 books were thrown out of the catholic books as fabrication
The question therfore is that; does the holy spirit also inspire fabrications?
Christianity EtcRamadan For Non-muslims: An Etiquette Guide by MKO4ever(op): 8:29am On Jun 07, 2016
(CNN) — There are 7 billion people in the world. And a full 22% of them -- 1.6 billion -- are fasting from sunup to sundown. Every day. For an entire month.
It's Ramadan, the holiest month of the Muslim calendar.
But what if you're not a Muslim; just a caring, considerate person. Is there anything you should be doing so you don't come across as insensitive to your fasting friends?
Short answer: No.
Long answer: No. But you can earn some cool points if you follow these 10 tips.
1. You can totally eat in front of us ....
For the next 30 days, Muslims around the world will abstain from eating and drinking during daylight hours. That doesn't mean you shouldn't carry on business as usual. (Just turn a deaf ear to our growling stomach)
2. ... but try not to schedule a work lunch
If you have to have a brownbag, you should. But don't feel bad if we sit there, like a vegetarian friend at a churrascaria. Ditto for a happy-hour mixer. If your Muslim co-worker takes a pass, understand.
3. You don't have to fast with us ...
You can if you want to see what it feels like. But it's not going to hurt our feelings -- even if we're best friends.
4. ... but you can join us for Iftar
Iftar is the breaking of the fast after sundown. We like to make it a big communal meal. You should come.
5. You don't have to know when it begins ...
Ramadan isn't like Christmas or Thanksgiving, as in you know exactly when it'll fall. It bounces around, because the Islamic calendar is lunar. When it begins depends on when the new moon is seen. That's why the precise dates change from year to year.
6. ... but please be a little flexible
How we determine when Ramadan begins is decidedly old-school -- you have to physically see the moon (even though there are apps for that). That's why, if your co-worker says, "Starting tomorrow, can I start work early so I can leave sooner?" try to accommodate.
7. We'll still go for coffee with you ...
No, we can't drink. Not even water. But we'll walk with you if you want to take a break.
8. ... but we may keep our distance
One word: Halitosis. You try not eating or drinking the entire day. That's why we're standing a foot away from you when we talk.
9. You can say "Ramadan Mubarak"
There's no "war on Christmas"-level controversy surrounding the greeting. (It means "Happy Ramadan"wink. Your Muslim co-worker will appreciate the thoughtfulness.
10. ... but please don't say "I should fast too. I need to lose weight"
Ramadan's not about that. Plus, one of Ramadan's side effects is obesity. (It's all that post-sundown overeating.)

There's more to Ramadan than fasting
Ramadan isn't just about avoiding food and drink from dawn and dusk. You can't lie or slander someone. You also can't lust after things. You shouldn't do any of those things anyway. But to do them during Ramadan is especially bad.

The idea is to use this month to cultivate self-discipline that you'll keep practicing the rest of the year. In that sense, think of Ramadan as a spiritual detox.
