sammyomal: The News Agency of Nigeria had quoted Mr. Ugheoke on Tuesday as saying the lecturers’ strike would commence next month. In an interview with PREMIUM TIMES on Wednesday, Mr. Ugheoke told said he never gave such statement to the NAN reporter. “A certain reporter in NAN is responsible for this damage,” he said. “As a result of this falsified report, I am facing a panel later tonight from ASUU National body.” The university don said he had asked for a rebuttal of the story since it was published. “I have reached out to the NAN reporter and he told me it was a mix-up. He also begged me to save his job,” he said. In the report widely circulated by Nigerian media, the government news agency quoted the don as saying ASUU was to embark on a one-week warning strike from October 2. |

MEANWHILE
yesterday was the saddest day in my life.I was at a park when i saw a woman seriously complaining about her stolen phone. So I went near her to listen to what she was saying.. I was also downloading something with my phone at that same time.. Immediately she saw my phone she told the crowd that's her phone with me. For a moment I couldnt even open my mouth, i was so confused. she held me and slapped me. The crowd attempted to beat me up. But luckily a policeman was passing by and he came to the scene.. He asked what was going on and I explained with tears all over my face. He sent me to the police station together with the woman and I still explained to the policeman that i was innocent.. So the policeman asked the woman to call her phone. She called and a girl picked and told the woman it was her daughter. The girl told the woman that she left her phone at home when she was leaving to town. I even cried more and more because I had already been disgraced. The policeman told the woman to settle me with some money. The woman pulled 5 million naira out of her bag and wanted to hand it over to me but it was just too much for me so i just opened my eyes, stood up from my bed and went to urinate. And you nor go back to sleep to complete the story |

lastmessenger: well my Bible called Jesus the son of God. If that's not OK by you then you can go and knock your head on the ground as ushy The same way Bible called David, Solomon, Abraham, you and I the son of God. can you just be reasonable? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Our Children Will Continue To Wear Church Robes To School- CAN President, Ayokun by MKO4ever(m): 1:50pm On Aug 07, 2016 |
WhatOnEarth: You read in one book. Hmmmm. You did not even bother to read the Bible itself. Lets look at your method critically. If I wanted to know how many siblings you have and then I go to your neighbour to ask instead of coming directly to you, what would you call me
Anyway time for some homework for you.
Mark 14.61-62 (This singular verse converted this guy, http://www.nabeelqureshi.com/) Daniel 7.13 puts this verse in context. For a Jew, saying you're "the Son of man" means you're equal with God.
John 5.18 (This is the singular sin that Jesus committed that he was killed for by the Jews)
Philippians 2.6 (Apostle Paul knew who Jesus was. Till this day Muslims still believe that it was Paul who corrupted the Christian Bible by making this singular claim)
There are other passages as well. Plenty of them such that Hebrews 12.1 described it as "a great cloud of witnesses."
And since you like reading books I would recommend you read "The case for Jesus" by Brant Pitre. I guess you can find it to download free on the internet somewhere. everyone is aware of John 3:16 and Co. but in all of these verses, I am saying where did Jesus himself tell anybody that he is the only begotten son of God? |

Anyone that wears hijab or church robes to school, but refuses to wear same to a birthday party is a bigot. I read in one book that Jesus never called himself the son of God. if that is true why are we deceiving these children by teaching them what is not true. |

Formidable1: It is the Hadith that contains the traditions of Islam. You would not understand the Quran without the Hadith.
By the way, here are the words of the Quran itself:
“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” Quran 9:29
But, if they refuse...
"As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the hereafter." Quran 3:56 I think these verses of the bible explain boko haram's ideology better (Numbers 31:17-18)-- "Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man intimately. 18But all the girls who have not known man intimately, spare for yourselves."or perhaps Deuteronomy 7:16 And you shall consume all the peoples that the LORD your God will give over to you. Your eye shall not pity them, neither shall you serve their gods, for that would be a snare to you.or same Deuteronomy 20:16 However, you must not let any living thing survive among the cities of these people the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance.Personally, I think there are more references to Bokoharam's ideology in the bible than they are in the Quran |
